PoliticsRe: APC Governors Meet Oshiomole Over Rift With Obaseki by K0y3: 5:09pm On Jun 01, 2020
Because you say no to godfatherism means obaseki should not have an opponent? It's simple obaseki has his supporters, ize iyanmu has his too. Ize iyanmu is just fortunate he has oshiomole on his side after all he was defeated by obaseki when obaseki had oshiomole by his side.

chriskosherbal:
Am sorry mynd44 but i beg to disagree, cos I don't see any pride here and if there is any it should be on the part of Oshiomole.

What is he feeling like dictating what goes on in a state were u r no longer a state gov to the extent of presenting ur own candidate.

Nobody did that to him during his tenure in our office he should replicate same gesture.

PoliticsRe: If You Were President, What Sector Would You Focus On To Kickstart Development? by K0y3: 8:32pm On May 21, 2020
Production of durable and cheap steel is very important for an industrialization drive. A nation can't keep importing steel and expect to build/develop industries, be it manufacturing, processing, storage, construction, housing, movie, fashion, entertainment etc heavy machineries are made out of steel down to the lightest cameras, mobile phones, cooking/ kitchen utensils etc

I totally agree with you on the human capacity development but is this not the reason why we go to school( university, polytechnic etc) or learn a skill( tailoring, welding, carpentry, mechanics, photography, filming etc)? But still no job, and when there is no opportunity, you can not showcase your talent or create a content.

I still insist, fix power ( solar, wind, gas, hydro, in which ever preference or order) and produce your own steel as a nation. Then watch how every other thing will fall into place.

Detour00:
Power and human capacity development. With power, emphasis will be on energy mix( solar, wind, gas, hydro etc)
PoliticsRe: If You Were President, What Sector Would You Focus On To Kickstart Development? by K0y3: 7:37pm On May 21, 2020
Power and steel. A nation can not successfully embark on massive industrialization, construction and production process without these 2 factors. After which every other things will fall in place.

Norahsthought:
Having been exposed to not so classified but not exactly public information regarding certain aspects of the Nigerian Government, I have found that it is much more complex to solve Nigeria's problems that the masses know.

Usually, I hear people talk about ideas on exactly what the government should focus on and how the government has a approached a matter wrongly. Even though sometimes true, most times, it's completely wrong. Nigerians don't know how tough it is to solve problems in Nigeria and usually we jump into conclusions without a full context of what the problem is. E.g Abacha's looting. Buba Galadima was a member of the Board of Trustees, National Party of Nigeria (NPN) in 1978, and Abacha's boy. He said Abacha followed the advice of other African Presidents by stashing money against impending sanctions by the US. I know this doesn't sound rational but this could highly be the truth, but we prefer the idea of distributing our government.

So here's my question, if you were Nigeria's President, what sector would you focus on first to kickstart development in Nigeria? Please a little explanation about your answer would suffice.

PoliticsRe: COVID-19: Ganduje Rejects Kwankwaso’s Amana Hospital As Isolation Center by K0y3: 4:07pm On May 01, 2020
You guys should calm down both gadunje and kwakwanso are playing politics. If not, why will kwakwanso donate the hospital via his kwakwansiya movement and PDP? This is politically motivated and gadunje did well by rejecting it( played politics too) cause it's a Greek gift.

Now if kwakwanso had donated it in his own capacity, just in his name and gadunje had rejected. Then your comment would have been highly valid because to some extent it's still valid.

My point is this, had kwakwanso made the donation in his capacity like dangote and the rest did with their names, then it probably might not have been rejected.

To come to think of it, if dangote, rabiu, adeleke, otedola etc had made the donations with their companies name. Would it be regarded as a personal donation? No! Instead it will be a cooperate donation.
Little wonder the GTB guy made donations in his own capacity and that of the bank too.

RomanceRe: Runs Girls Are Getting Better Husbands Than Church Girls - Lady by K0y3: 10:05am On Apr 23, 2020
I understand you quite well but you don't seem to understand me. I never said you should have random sex with men, it's not even proper.

Yes, most parent groom their kids to be uptight and upright, truth is every parent should. There is a saying in Yoruba I quote " awon obi mii won bi mi da emi gan gan mo tun arami bi" meaning my parents thought me well and I thought myself too.

Our parents teaching is only to guide us, it's the basics and foundation that we need to build our character on. It is your character that defines you and if it fails you, you fall back on your foundation and build another.

Flirting at the right time, is not a bad thing as long as you are descplined, this is where our parents teaching comes to play. You should know this by now, no parent will teach you how to get a man but yet they expect you to bring a man. Reason is they are satisfied with all the teachings they have given you and are expectant of you. To whom much is given, much is expected. Only you can figure that out all by yourself my dear, not your siblings, not your friends, only you. When you discover yourself, people around you can only point out what they presume to be a mistake and which might not necessarily be.

Back to the matter, FLIRT! I meant you should socialize more with the opposite sex, you don't have to wait for a guy to start a conversation first, you can by asking a simple question and if he is interested in you the man in will come out. This single act would have made him noticed you if he hadn't earlier. Also you need to be attractive, dress clean and nice not necessarily like a LovePeddler, even if you do and truly you are not one, he will get to figure out that with time. You need to be interesting some little knowledge of sports, politics, current affairs, businesses/finance, just general knowledge of life. All I'm trying to say is this, flirt but don't be a LovePeddler or a bimbo. Respect men and demand to be respected back, if you don't pass your boundary men will always respect you no doubt about that. Just create a class of vibes for yourself and don't forget to always smile. Cheers

I agree with you ,, but some parents groom their kids to be uptight , it’s all about upbringing it’s normally not our fault.. my friends tried to influence me but i refused !! I wish I went out more , met more men and had more sex during my university days , I regret it a lot , cause now out of university u don’t know much time on ur hands .
RomanceRe: Runs Girls Are Getting Better Husbands Than Church Girls - Lady by K0y3: 9:12am On Apr 23, 2020
You guys are missing the point. Runs girls are not meeting good men or getting married simply because they are runs girls.

The basic fact is that men like to confirm their interest. Simply put it this way, men are moved by what they see while women are moved by what they hear.

Runs girls are out there for men to see, they put themselves forward likewise ladies that don't do runs too that put themselves forward will most likely get married to good and responsible men too.

On the other hand, women are moved my what they hear thinking men are like that too but we are not. Almost all ladies think if a guy hears that she is good, goes to church, does not have bad history with other men then he will surely want her but it does not work that way.

Has a lady runs girl or not u need to put yourself out there make yourself available. Have you ever wondered why a man will go to a church, just to meet a potential wife material but still end up with the worst lady in the congregation, instead of the so called decent ones? It's all because of the law of attraction, he sees, he likes and they met in church.

Being decent doesn't mean you should not flirt with men. When ladies flirt, it puts them in a higher position of being noticed compared to other ladies that will not. Flirt! I wrote not whoring around, there is a difference.

Though there are exceptional cases, meaning very slim and limited chances of being noticed if you don't flirt.

It's just a pity that runs girls have mastered the act of flirting, law of attraction and men will always be men.

It's simple, the shock waves would be transferred from the foundation of the building through the body to the peak of the building, which is the roof. The waves will try to escape at the peak into the air, with the building serving as a medium. I hope you understand?

scally11:
Wat about the roof that was pieced. Is it also attached to the foundation? Abegi. And that woman said she saw soldier and later they say na police drive the car. Is the woman hallucinating. At 3:am the woman said she saw the soldier man. Is she a nightwatch or guiding the wall from windlings or whitewalker.?
PoliticsRe: Akure Explosion: I Didn't Know There're Explosives In My Truck, Truck Driver by K0y3: 3:58pm On Apr 02, 2020
Buildings have foundation into the sub surface of the soil. The shock waves will impact the buildings more through it's foundation while every other thing on and above the soil will experience little impact from it.

1) Mosques don't collect thite mandatory or forcefully
2) The mosques is different from the churches. An imam's responsibility is solely to lead salat, for administrative purposes, there is either an amir or amirat (president).
3) the mosques is just a congregation, it does not necessarily mean members like we have church members.
4) the mosque is not owned by an individual, it might be donated my an individual, group of individuals or most commonly, the community.
5) An Iman in the mosque can be a volunteer, called upon on a request or the most vast person in Arabic/Islamic knowledge.
6) The position as an Imam itself does not bring money to the table, the Imam would have a job where he earns his money. Might be an Islamic scholar, an Alfa(Arabic teacher) better still have a regular white collar job or personal business.
My imam at Ikeja then was a chattered account and had is own accounting firm. I used was/had because I don't know what is going on there anymore.

You're just being partisan and i can understand that. Truth his akeredolu has been very prudent with info states resources. With all the funds mimiko received during his time( period of oil boom) plus he still had to borrow more. I rate akeredolu higher, seems he akeredolu has a better version of agagu's blue print.

If u have ever been to Akure or you are from ondo state, then you will know as simple as the roads look they are actually better than what mimiko or even agagu constructed. The roads look simple but they are actually of good quality. Plus those are inner street roads not major roads, how many states in Nigeria put street lights on inner street roads? By my observation, none! It's good to criticize but pls do this objectively.

Tareq1105:
Aketi just making mockery of himself.

What's in a 6km road?

No walkway for school children, no streetlights against bag snatchers, and I know that the road is not of good quality. Just the next 2 rainy seasons, it will be washed away.
PoliticsRe: Governor Akeredolu Commissions Road In Eyitayo Jegede's Neighborhood, Shades Him by K0y3: 12:36pm On Feb 25, 2020
Akeredolu is doing way more than mimiko did in is 8 years. Mimiko lived for the media hype but akeredolu doesn't bloody care. I can confidently tell you akeredolu is doing what is right at a reasonable cost too.

Stillthebest:
kiss

Na the road be like one wey lead to my village farm so!!

People saying Akeredolu is working are funny. He hasn't done 1/10 of Mimiko's..

His projects are not captivating and never spectacular in any form..He hasn't done what anyone would say has never been done in any state. Mimiko came up with a mother and Child project, plus a few others and that were best among equals.

What killed that man was 'I-know-it-all' attitude, high handedness and other attitudes of a G man.

I stand to be corrected, Akeredolu is doing nothing. It has been News brokerage all along.

Searching world wide, how many first class graduates are wealthy? It's not a Nigeria thing, it's a world wide phenomenon.

To be wealthy/ extremely rich, you need to stand out in your chosen field, create a new brand or build up on an existing brand to even make yours better.

Education is only a path to greatness, not greatness itself, be it formal or informal education. Greatness resides in you but then what can you create for you to be great at? Think about this, God bless you.

Borbisky or whatever, he/she created an image, a brand, good or bad, moral or imoral. He sure did something

You guys are wrong, these peeps are business men. Their business interests comes first before any welfare package. What do you think Dr maduka will do with over 200 buses when the rail system the fg is building starts to function? Likewise dangote with his trucks?

Simple, they are business men. They are ditching road for rail. Don't be surprise if they start buying coaches. They are going to the next level leaving we the poor masses behind.

Every successful business man is able to see and predict ahead.

Good move. Same thing Dangote does.

This will make drivers to be more careful on the road knowing fully well the bus will become theirs few years to come.

But, I will also advise the drivers to take up this scheme on Toyota Hiace buses and not the KingLong and other Chinese make.

Keep making us proud, Dr. Maduka Onyishi. Peace Mass Transit, A Gift from Above.

No, rather the gov will decamp to apc. With apc having 20 out of 30 state assembly. Then it is safe to say aoc is in control. If the Gov messes up, they have the 2third majority to impeach him without any hassle. Imagine a scenario when the apc led federal government decides to impeach the gov. They will easily mobilise more than 2third majority, the 2 prp and 1 urp guys will fall in line with apc leaving just 6pdp members. Out of frustration they might just decamp to apc too. I'm pretty sure if this was in the south the pdp will loose out totally cus they won't be having any principal officer in the house. Everything minority will go to the urp and prp guys and pdp. Apc will just vote the other guys minority whip, minority leader etc instead of pdp.

Gandollar:
Lol give the qstate assembly 5 months and see all them become PDP. Give the Nass members 2 yrs and see 80% become PDP.
