Nairaland GeneralRe: How Has Your Yearly Resolutions Affected Your Life? by k2039:
If you don't have a constitution you will likely end anywhere.

As much as I didn't achieve everything I wanted, I'm certainly better off than not having a constitution at all(My constitution is my blue print, I don't necessarily have to make resolutions but I need to adhere to my constitution which contains my mission statement and goals).
Nairaland GeneralRe: Who Is That Special Person You Would Luv To Wish Happy New Year First? by k2039: 6:33pm On Dec 22, 2012
Nobody, new year is just the first day of a calendar year, IMHO that day is overated, the only important day in the calendar is my birthday, not that the day is so special but I can rate my achievements based on the number of years I have spent on the earth.

As it stands I will probably not make any calls except in case of a necessity.

joeydozzy: you guys shouldn't be confused. They just started dating last year but Devon had been celibate for 9 years prior to them meeting. definitely, Meagan was shaggging every guy out there before they metundecided
She certainly did confuse me, she was trying to justify the thread she opened yesterday and from what you guys wrote she certainly has no point.

They weren't dating for ten years. They started dating in 2011 upon meeting on the set of Jumping The Broom, a movie in which Devon was a co-producer. He, however, was on a 10-year celibacy before meeting Meagan, and according to the couple, the celibacy continued throughout the courtship.
Thanks jare.

ChopUrMoni I don't see the relevant of this thread then, since it didn't address the issue at hand.

Goldieluks:

Duh! After dating for ten years, what is one month that you are now so impatient and can't wait?? Typical Nigerian men hasty attitude huh?
I guess you probably don?t know my age, if you add ten years to my age, I will have grown grey hair by then.

Besides I don't have a problem with dating for as long as you want, my point has always been how long it takes a girl to say yes to a man.

Think about it, why should I waste my time waiting for a girl when I'm not sure she will say yes, it just sounds stupi.d to me.
It depends on the person.
There was this guy I knew. One day, I had a luggage (was supposed to bike) but decided to walk home with it so I could clear my thoughts as I had just lost my best friend in an accident and was depressed and sad.
This guy came to help me with it and spoke to me in such a soothing way that I felt so much better. He only turned back in front of my gate.
Next I needed a book for an exam, he got it for me from a friend and dropped it off. We interacted on and off and got to know each other without him asking me out; he was so supportive. The day he did, I said yes because I already knew what he was about, a good man. So in his case, almost immediately.

Then, the case of my secret admirer. He saw me at an occasion and liked me. He got my number from a mutual friend and started calling me, right off the bat asking me for commitment. Pesin wey I no know, I refused!

So it was decided to wait till we could see face to face and to relate before then. It took months for us to see and when we did, we had already become somewhat chummy and my friend had spoken to me about him, so I felt more comfortable with him and he also got to really know me too. I wasn't in a relationship and to be fair to him, didn't go into any.
Note: If a guy didn't have potential with me, I wouldn't keep him hanging. I don't do that.
I hate the fact that I have to agree with you, you are right and I agree with your point.

Real life situations are dynamic and so will be your approach.

Why on earth should he approve it, if he doesn't know or scrutinizes it, that will mean stupidity.
