kikuyu1:Calm down, there is nothing in buying a submarine. If South-Africa can afford it, so can Nigeria. The reason why the Nigerian navy hasn't but any is because of other urgent requirements and threat assessment. |

chkil1:Please if you don't understand Nigeria's political environment, don't comment on politics in Nigeria. |
chkil1:Chkil1 , you're a good friend. However before offering unsolicited opinions on critical Nigerian issues, you need to understand Nigeria's political environment. Nigeria is a multiethnic country, with people speaking over 500 languages. Do you know the sort of civil war that would cause? You guys need to really think before making comments for real. You will be chilling in Algiers, while the country goes up in flames from Kano to Bonny Island. Please think. |

Hennynitan:He did not share anything new. He shared the exact same thing we've all seen previously. Let us respect our country men, some of whom died because of this protest, as a result of unverified information and have lost millions worth more in property damages. It makes no sense to continue pushing an agenda to stoke violence, anger and what have you. Let's rebuild, we have already lost tremendously as a nation, and everyone government and people have lost. Let us give peace a chance!! |
claremont:That's because when asked for evidence they suddenly can't provide any. It's because of false information like this Nigeria is burning, with violence every where. People making claims they can't prove. |

jln115:The information is not clear, but tensions are really high in Nigeria. Especially in the Southern cities of Nigeria. |

Odunayaw:That's from the investigation of PR Nigeria, they did not say it's conclusive evidence. They are only saying from their own investigation. |
Lekki Massacre: 48 Hours After, Dead Bodies Still ‘Invisible’-PRNigeria Investigation 48 hours after it was reported that soldiers deployed by the Nigerian Army allegedly shot and killed innocent #EndSARS agitators in Lekki, a suburb in Lagos State, PRNigeria‘s investigation still could not identify even a single victim of the massacre who died during the incident. Some social media reports have claimed that in the Lekki area of the state, armed soldiers, on Tuesday, allegedly shot sporadically at some #EndSARS protesters, killing dozens of persons in the process. Many protesters, according to the reports, were said to have sustained bullet wounds as a result of the attack that suddenly came just after the billboard on the tollgate and the streetlights around the premises were switched off. However, PRNigeria reported that Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the State Governor, yesterday said no death was recorded in Tuesday night attack in the Lekki toll gate area of the State. He confirmed the development in a live broadcast Wednesday morning, saying two critically wounded victims had been operated on and were in stable condition while others with “mild to moderate” cases are still receiving treatments at various hospitals in the area. Sanwo-Olu, who admitted that soldiers opened fire during the #EndSARS protest at the Lekki toll gate area in a bid to disperse them, said he engaged the leadership of the Nigerian Army on the development. Many of the people reported to have been killed in the Lekki Protest have since came out to debunk such reports. A Nollywood movie star Eniola Badmus, who was allegedly shot in the stomach and died at the Lekki Toll Gate has denied the social media reports. Posting on her Instagram, Eniola wrote “Against all speculations about me being shot or dead at the unspeakable incident that happened at the toll gate a few hours ago, I would like to inform you guys that I Eniola Badmus is hale and hearty. I couldn’t make it there today to lend my voice on the #endsars movement.” (https://www.pulse.ng/entertainment/celebrities/eniola-badmus-says-reports-of-her-being-shot-at-lekki-tollgate-are-false/yebpl6b) A photo of a man carrying a dead lady wrapped in Nigerian flag as posted by Yemi Alade was an image from a movie acted with a theme, “Heal our land, OH LORD!” https://www.trendsmap.com/twitter/tweet/1318864211037048832 A young man, Iraoya Godwin, a native of Otuo-Auchi, Edo state who was reported to have been killed also at the Lekki Toll Gate has posted a video on twitter denying the report.
There is a trending video of corpse of Comrade Anthony Okechukwu, a former student of Michael Okpara University Of Agriculture, Umudike Abia State. It is discovered that the young man died in a road accident and not at the Lekki Gate. https://www.facebook.com/abigailyong.za There was also a video of one Lucy Adu who was celebrated as martyr at LekkiMasacre after dancing in the clip. Some of the social media posts celebrating her ‘martyrdom’ read: ”She was dancing an hour before she was murdered by the Nigerian armed forces Lucy was her name Pensive face#endsars – a bullet hit her in the face and ripped half her face off.” Latest investigation shows that Lucia Adu died from an accident with a stationary truck on 20th October 2020. Her death was not from a gunshot by anyone. This is also confirmed by a new fact-checking twitter handle on EndSARS https://twitter.com/EndSARSFctCheck Meanwhile, PRNigeria Editorial team could not get authenticated footages of the bullet-ridden bodies from the alleged LekkiMassacre from credible media sources and EndSARS activists. Yet, two days after the alleged LekkiMassacre, no single family member has reported to security agencies or the media of the death of their loved ones in the incident. Checks by PRNigeria revealed that not even a single protester allegedly killed during the Lekki incident was reported, even as no single corpse of the massacred protesters was taken to any hospital in the state, as of Wednesday night. The Assistant Editor, PRNigeria, Mahmood Abdulsalam said “So far, most of the footages we have collected, over 100 in all, showing dead protesters and several others wounded, when we subject them to our reverse imagery testing tools, indicated they are not recent while others are manipulated images and doctored videos. We also observe circulations of old pictures of victims injured and killed during violent skirmishes, unrelated to the #EndSARS demonstrations, across the country.” |
Faithful007:The problem with Nigerians, and the violence we see today is, you simply refuse to do the most basic things, READ!! For your information, that's he's response to me. Is that not a personal attack? demolition: |
Hennynitan:I agree, the President has handled this badly. He is currently in a meeting with his security chiefs.

Breaking News!!! Ikoyi Prison is under attack. Military & Police deployed. Lagos residents stay safe. Let us continue to preach dialogue & peace!! |
We can choose to tow the line of dialogue or approach our present conundrum with irrationality. When the dust settles we will begin to see that perhaps, burning the country and ushering a state of anarchy is the worst approach we can choose to effect real change. People are dying because inflammatory, unverified posts are constantly shared on social media. Please be wise!! |
https://www.nairaland.com/6197267/oke-obi-enadhuze-killed-thugs-not Good day, My name is Obi-Enadhuze Daniel younger brother of the now deceased Okechukwu Obi-Enadhuze @O_Okee . I, my brother and mother lived at makinde police barracks, mafoluku, Oshodi, Lagos State. Today at about 11 o'clock in the morning... . ... the police station at makinde was attacked by thugs who wanted to destroy the station, I my mom and brother were holed up in our house, The attack went on for hours before the thugs eventually breached the police and proceeded to set the station on fire, after accomplishing.. ...this they set their sights to the barracks and began the assault, they proceeded to destroy every car in the barracks, my mom's 2 cars where destroyed and set on fire and then they infiltrated our house by breaking the door... ... they then proceeded to ransack the house and carted away with everything we own, my brother on trying to get them to take everything but spare us was pushed to my mom's room and stabbed on the neck, the attacker then proceeded to attack me but missed my neck... . ...but got my chin instead, after this my mom and I carried my brothers body to the entrance of the station soliciting for help from the thugs still ravaging the barracks, we were finally able to put him in a wheelbarrow and took him to a hospital where he was... ... rejected because "he was already dead" unfazed we moved him to another hospital where he met the same treatment this was where he bled his last drops of blood and died, his body has now been moved to a morgue... ...we have lost every single thing we own, as our house was completely ransacked and set on fire the only thing left is my brothers phone and at about 8 o'clock this evening the barracks was still on fire but Okechukwu has paid with the ultimate price... ...I and my mother are homeless with nothing now but we're safe for now, we thank everyone that has been able to reach out to us, and were able to share consoling words with us in these trying times, God bless you... While we were holed up in the house the three of us said these words together and we say it again " THREE OF US ARE HERE, THREE OF US ARE TOGETHER, THREE OF US ARE SAFE"... Let it be known that my brother @O_Okee was NOT killed by a police bullet but died a hero protecting my mother and I. If you see this please retweet, let the world know how Okechukwu died. He was NOT killed by a police bullet but thugs in his home!

demolition:I don't live in Nigeria, I'm not directly affected by the violence going on there. Understand the individual you're talking to, and make comments that directly affect that individual. It's basic common sense. |
kabe1:Today we have all borne witness and seen the destructive power of fake news. A couple weeks back i mentioned that SSBN/Defense news Nigeria posting false information on twitter is a national security risk. This week, events unconnected with SSBN/Defense News Nigeria, have played out, and the result has been people dead, properties destroyed across many Nigerian cities, curfew in place and a Nation on it's knees. All because some people raised tension through unverified reportage on social media, amplified by the silence of the people in government. I beg of us all, let us verify our posts before sharing on social media. Don't post content here or on any social media capable of inciting violence and civil unrest. God Bless Nigeria. |
