I already had two children before the devil decided to try it in 2016. In 2016 I was diagnosed of having an ectopic pregnancy with an already leaking tube. I knew something was wrong with that pregnancy but the different hospitals told me they couldn't even detect any kind of pregnancy. Well the short summary is that the pregnancy ended up ectopic and I had to remove my right fallopian tube. After the surgery I had high prolactin level which slowly led to complete absence of my menses for almost 2 years, despite taking different hormonal drugs prescribed by my doctor. To the glory of God I took in last year December when I didn't expect to. This pregnancy was very difficult for me but I accepted it with a grateful heart and thanksgiving.
I wanted an August baby so that I will have a child that shares same birth month with me. My birthday was August 31, but it came and went with baby still chilling. Hitherto I had been having on and off painless contractions. Once we entered September I downloaded several "labour activating exercise" videos from YouTube. Despite my exercise contractions still came on and off feeling like menstrual cramp. On Wednesday when I was 39 weeks 3 days, I called my gynae who told me to come to the hospital, I was how ever determined to bring on labour on my own. After following hubby around everywhere, and doing my exercises I went home to rest. That night of 4th September I debated within myself on whether or not to go to hospital for a cervical examination, and later decided to go in the morning of 5th September. Around 1am on 5th September, I felt a pull on my tummy and small liquid slid down on my thigh. I have never had my water break on its own so I didn't understand what was going on. Then I felt a sharp pain, I woke hubby and told him it's hospital time. When we set out for the hospital the contractions seized again, coming on and off and definitely not painful. Upon examination at the hospital I was discovered to be 8cm dilated, told to lie down on n the delivery bed, my membrane was ruptured, I had contractions every 2 minutes, and within 30 minutes pushed out my 4.2kg beautiful princess. God has been faithful to me and I can't stop thanking him for his mercies.
I wish all mommas especially my september teamies such super fast delivery. May God bless us all in Jesus name.

Week 39 today. I am officially tired of being pregnant. My birthday was yesterday and I prayed for baby to come yesterday but for where? The waist, back and leg pains I have now are incomparable. I'm doing fine in the Lord but my bebe (according to my 2 year old son) cannot even keep it secret.

Everybody now know I am preggy, chai I started showing at 3months...i am just scared of what will look like at full term.

Emmmmh I still having nausea oooo and I get easily filled up with food,me that I am natural foodie..I dare not eat as usual.

Abeg what can I use for indigestion? Cause sometimes the food will just come and stay in my throat and refused to go down

Am scared ooo I can't really feel lo's movement? Don't mind I am a second time mum but I am just anxious.

Lo have decided to make vjay her home.

Hmmm. This indigestion dealt with me in my first trimester and early second trimester. I didn't know when it stopped. However from 33 weeks it came back with a vengeance. I am battling serious indigestion and bloating now. Nothing worked for me oo. Mama endure. It will end in praise

Weldone cappo. This pregnancy is not easy for me. Indigestion is killing me. It will end in praise

I welcomed my baby girl on the 23rd of April through elective CS. I had placenta previa which later moved. Also the gap between my last Cs and this one was less than 18 months so my doctor didn't want to take the risk.
I went to the hospital on Monday night. Early morning Tuesday at 5am I was taken to be prepared for the surgery. The nurse shaved me, checked my bp and heart rate and inserted the catheter. She also took baby's clothes and arranged them in one corner.
Surgery started at about 6:30. Baby was born 6:55am. I was awake through out and was even gisting with the doctors cos I was given spinal anaesthesia. Surgery ended at few minutes to 8. Can't remember cos they gave me one injection at the end that made everything to be hazy.
Was discharged on thursday. Baby, daddy, big sis and I are doing well. I give God all the glory for making me a mum again.
To all GTC mums, God will come through for you. To the waddling mamas especially my team May, God that brought you this far, will see you to the very end and bring you rejoicing. To my Cappo, God bless you ma.

I threw up when I had mine too. Never having it again. When I took my first TT the pain I had lasted over a week. I had to apply ice block to numb the pain

BS Part 2
The nurse attached to me was lecturing me on the pros and cons of CS but I wasn’t listening, DH was trying to ease the pain with back rubs and soothing words but nothing worked infact, I was now angry with everything and everyone. My next check, I was 4cm. To cut the extremely long story short, I didn’t know what I was experiencing was preamble to what’s to come. Hmm, when the real contractions started, I was in another planet. By then, I had cancelled the thought of CS entirely. I was moved to the delivery room when I was finally fully dilated. To the glory of God, I had my 4kg princess and severe tear which took 50mins to stitch and guess what, both injection and drip given to numb the pains I’d get from being stitched up had zero effect so, I was in excruciating discomfort and pain through the whole process.

My own self indigestion is worse. I can't eat a whole lot of food. The only thing my system accepts is fried rice and sweet potato. If I eat anything else I will be so bloated, find it difficult to relax and must throw that food up. To think I am almost 20 weeks gone. Never experienced this indigestion in my previous pregnancies. I wanted to chew bitter kola for the salivation but my midwife told me not to. Hmmmm! I am always angry and snaps at any little thing these days. It is not fair on my dear hubby who is always the recipient of my anger. Poor guy does all he can humanly do but my indigestion has put me in a bitchy mood. Sorry mamas for my rant.

Good afternoon sabi mamas. 19 weeks preggy. Nausea still on point, at least once a week vomiting, indigestion is killing me OMG! It is killing me. Hmmmm salivation and metallic taste still on top gear. Hmmmmm! Please does any prenatal vitamin take care of any of these? I amam suffering ooooo. Hello sabi mamas. 15 weeks 2 days and bloating is killing me. Yam o, okpa o, tea o, garri o, they all make my stomach turnioniown. Yesterday's own was so bad that I actually cried. Nausea and Vomiting has reduced. That bitter abi metallic taste and excess salivation is still there. Please o how do I deal with these. If you have no ms you don't know what God has done for you. Meanwhile I think this "ms disappears in second trimester" is scam. Abi is 15 weeks first trimester?

Stop at ichida street, near Access bank by Ziks Avenue, ask anyone of Naneth, Joevic is beside Naneth. Naneth is very close to Ichida junction. If you want to see the MD himself then go on Wednesday. Their antenatal days are Mondays and Wednesdays. However the MD consults on Wednesday. If you are going on Wednesday ensure you are there before 8am, the queue is something else

Please can someone recommend a good private hospital around Nnamdi Azikiwe university Awka.


Please go to Joevic specialist hospital Awka. That is the hospital I use. The MD is a consultant at Amaku General Hospital, very professional and humane

Hi all.
I had an ectopic pregnancy and surgery in 2016. After the surgery I started experiencing irregular menses,, then absence of menses. To cut the long story, I am now 12 weeks pregnant. I am happy to be here. Very informative forum
