BusinessRe: Any Good Legitimate Investments In Nigeria? by kajad(m): 12:01pm On Apr 13, 2006
This Electricity thing is a very good business but very capital intensive. People opt for PHCN (NEPA) and not battery pack or solar panel because of the initial connection cost. Although poorly managed’ most street light in Port Harcourt are solar. So anyone thinking of investing in Electricity 4 now should concentrate on Power Generation; and think in terms of millions of dollars; Power distribution and retail are another game which is not feasible now.

@ Hot CoCo
Yes when I said housing I meant property market, an international organization is interested in providing facility for massive building construction to be sold to the members of the public in Abuja. I intend to pursue it and take advantage of the mortgage finance scheme.

I see great future in Digital age. Though at its infancy it is growing very fast.

If you want to buy shares here you can do it exactly they way you do there. Some Nigerian banks have branches in London. You can put a call to them and make further enquiries.
This is a public forum so I can only be as explicit.
RomanceRe: How Can I Tell If My Man Is Serious? by kajad(m): 11:18am On Apr 13, 2006
My bad! I though commitment and marriage were synonymous in women terminology; I had been asked a question about commitment at one point and I thought I was being asked to propose marriage. huh

Please can you give further details on this commitment issue and can a man be committed without outright marriage proposal?

Jokes EtcHow To Spell Mississippi! by kajad(op): 10:26am On Apr 13, 2006
A bus stops and 2 Italian men get on.

They sit down and engage in an animated conversation.

The lady sitting next to them ignores them at first, but her attention is galvanized when she hears one of them
say the following:

"Emma come first. Den I come. Den two asses come
together. I come once-a-more. Two asses, they come together again. I
come
again and pee twice. Then I come one lasta time.

"You foul-mouthed sex obsessed swine," retorted the lady indignantly.
In this country we don't speak aloud in public places about our sex
lives, "
"Hey, coola down lady," said the man. "Who talkin' abouta sex? I'm a justa tellin' my frienda how to spell *'Mississippi'."

, I BET YOU GONNA READ THIS AGAIN!!!!! lol

CultureRe: Why Am I Often Approached By African Men? (An African-American Woman) by kajad(m): 9:24am On Apr 13, 2006
The answer to your curiosity has been staring you in the face all along!

Chelley:
A little background info on me: I am a 35 year old black American female from the deep South. I was raised in a strict Christian environment and am conservative in the way I dress and behave.
This is Typical for an African woman . . . decency and the fear of God.

Chelley:
I am not promiscuous or loud, and I am careful about who I let in my life.
In Africa a woman’s conduct speaks louder than words can. A loud woman has lower value as a woman; most African American women are loud and consequently have lower value to the African man

Chelley:
and I'm not the fling type -- and I think a lot of them can tell by my demeanor. So, they don't waste their time.

The "African" in me, etc? That's new. LOL.
Culturally no African woman is into flings. Theoretically it is non-existent because there are no know word for it.

In conclusion I think you have all the intrinsic values that an African man (Igbo or Yoruba) man will expect in a woman.
So the African in you or your African content is very high. LOL.  wink  cheesy

Haba seun! Electricity Generation?  That will be something! Electricity Generation will be a worthwhile investment but, non you can buy into for now. Unless you know better Seun.
You may wish to specify areas that interest you. Coming home to see will give you better opportunity of making informed decision. Yes I have invested in some companies and also in banking sector during there recent recapitalization exercise. My interest now is on Housing and I want to be a player not just an investor. I will be willing to look up some reputable investment consultants for you if it will be of help.

BusinessRe: Any Good Legitimate Investments In Nigeria? by kajad(m): 1:19pm On Apr 12, 2006
There are a thousand and one good and legitimate investment opportunities in Nigeria. It depends on your area on interest; whatever be the case my usual advice is to use professionals only. I have observed that most people abroad do not what to pay professional fees for services because a relation told them it could be done for cheaper and usually by a quack or impostor.

If you want to invest in Nigeria do it the same way you will do it where you are now. . . by using the appropriate consultants. That way you can save yourself regrets.
RomanceRe: My Girlfriend Is Now Traditionally Married But She Still Wants Me! by kajad(m): 11:56am On Apr 12, 2006
In this situation it will be difficult to extricate yourself unless you are going to be mean to her. You obviously appear to be a nice guy who will not want to hurt her. She knows this and will use it to her advantage. What will you do if she comes to your place very late at night and refuse to go? Throw her out? Believe me sooner than later you will do that which you want to avoid; after all she is still the same person you knew.

Unless you have the money to give yourself a new identity! What if you change residence and she get to know about it through mutual friends, will you change again?

Getting a new girl is not too difficult but falling in love may be, besides falling in love takes some time and getting to know one other. So if you have a new girl and she sees you with her she definitely know that the game is up.

But then style differs this is doing it nicely, there is always a nasty way.
RomanceRe: Does My Ex Want Me Back Or Am I Being Used? by kajad(m): 10:29am On Apr 12, 2006
What do you mean ask him what his intentions are? What was the idea of the relationship the first time? you should be asking the girl what happend to cause the break up and if the situation has changed.

must you girls always have a question for a man when you have made up your minds not to believe his reply? huh
