Music/RadioRe: A thread for acoustic guitarist: beginners, amateurs and professionals by kakaG: 5:00pm On Jul 22, 2014
Very interesting topic.

Here goes some useful tips.

1. Lead Guitar is mainly about tricks, the more tricks you know, the better you play.

To start with, learning complete chords of six strings may weigh you down and eventually you loose interest. The best approach when it comes to understanding and perfecting your chords is what i call Trick 1.

Solution- Start with quarter chords, graduate to half chords and then move to full chords. This approach doesn't only help you in mastering your chords but also helps you when you start taking solos or interludes.

NOTE- Notes can add up to make quarter chords and then half and finally full chords.

Feel free send mails to esheky@yahoo.com for practical lectures ( e go cost you o) cheers.

RomanceRe: The Worst Valentine Gift You Ever Received by kakaG: 1:49pm On Feb 08, 2013
Last valentine, my gal asked me for some money three days before the dee day. It was tight at that time, but I did all I could to raise some cash thinking it was meant for my Val gift. I was shocked when I received one singlet ( I mean one not a pack) and that kind of paper belt that is sold for N250 on the road side after giving her a Val bag containing Wine, Chocolate, Body sprays, perfumes, card..... just name it. That day I learnt a lesson I will never forget. Guess what? months later I discovered my money was used to buy gifts for one large eyeballed dude who works for one one of the breweries in town.

Honestly Mr presido it is not a mater of speed, but delivery. If you moved slow in 2012 and delivered, we wouldn't be where we are today. There is still ample time to deliver if you are truly ready. As already mentioned, further disappointments will not come as a surprise, but performance will shock all your critics. We know it is almost impossible to rule this crazy country, but let's be able to say you did your best. Good luck Mr Goodluck.

RomanceRe: "I Slept With My Best Friend’s Husband" by kakaG: 9:33pm On Oct 11, 2012
Wow! What can I say? You see, issues like these are better settled within. Confessing is the right thing, but that will surely result to breaking a home because no matter how right it sounds your friend will never be able to forgive you.

Secondly, some sins are better reported to God and kept secrete from man because of the aftermath so, my honest advise is for you to go on your kneels, confess to your creator and then move on finding peace in your confession and never return to such an act.

This is a very sad one, you should bury your head in the gutter.

CareerRe: Emotionally Abusive Bosses!!! by kakaG: 10:08am On Jul 14, 2012
The truth is that its thesame everywhere. The only difference is the degree at which this wicked attitude is manifested.
My story is not too far from what I have read from you all today.
You see, I worked for a company from 2009 to 2010 when I had to throw in the towel for fear of being permanently damaged emotionally. At that time, I was called every useless thing just because I got the job through my elder brother who is highly placed. The fact is that the MD didn't let me work well because I took over some accounts formerly handled by his mistress, a colleague also and so he made sure he made me suffer. To him, nothing was ever right about me and so he called me names like lazy, dumb, stupid etc this information soon got to the chairman and CEO of the coy who was already looking for ways to cut down on his marketers and he asked what the so called MD what his intention was concerning the dept. And o
My name and a fellow colleague were penclled down for termination. But for the immediate intervention of my brother, I would have been sacked. I got another offer in the heat of the moment and moved on.

This is my present story.

The CEO of my former coy knew he would loose the connection to my brother so he wanted me back but I was not forth coming so he did the worst.

My new bo$$ was his MD too. He liked me and trusted my judgment when I resumed but when he visited my old coy, the CEO fed him with what his MD told him about me years ago. From that moment to this moment as I make my report we have been fighting. Not physically, but technically. I ‎A̶̲̥̅♏ a very experienced marketer with contacts in my industry, but because my former coy has spread lots of trash about me here and there it is almost impossible to achieve anything.

My bo$$ on ther other hand calls me names like fool, empty brain, lazy man, etc.

The truth is that this is gradually making me loose confidence in my self and it is begining to tell and show on the job. I almost no longer trust my own judgment anymore. I make avoidable mistakes for fear of being called names.

The good news is that I intend to leave prety soon.

Thanks.
Music/RadioRe: Which Musical Instrument(s) Are You Playing Or Would Love To Play? by kakaG: 9:19pm On Jun 01, 2012
For me my first will always remain the Lead Guitar. Have played with famous Rennard Bunky Mass Choir and in many clubs in the good old days. Looking back at those days I smile knowing when I had the time for full time shows I enjoyed every minute of it. I presently have Guitars everywhere in my bunk including my bathroom.

Also, my group featured in Jos when the then Plantation boiz made their debute in Unijos.

Really love music.
