It's indeed foolishness and stu pidity of the highest order because IKDC or EKDC will just come back and remove the G&P and the next several months up to even a year,that area will not have light,because of d st upidity of a woman and few guys.
These same people will then have to beg,write letters and be forced to pay for the treatment cost of the beat-up officials in addition to other made up damages.
In addition Ikdc will also insist that at least half of the arrears of all electricity users in that area be paid before reconnection.This will run into several thousands per each compound.
What is a N5000 bill compared to a year without power,if even for 4hrs a day,then at least 10times that 5k to also be paid by these same people that beat the officials?
So long the government,being irresponsible didn't give a directive that disconnection of customers be suspended till this Covid is over,as other sane countries are doing,the electricity companies have a right to go after their money.
