Only men who do not treat their wives well will be worried about this. If your wife is your best friend, you should support her and keep in mind that it is a win for the home as a unit. I know some some won't like this. Some will even be scared because she is going alone (no child, no husband). Insecure people everywhere |

According to Qlife, it takes between 5 and 10 days to upload your medical results. I am not sure about IOM. jogojogo: How long does it take IRCC to upload meidcal results after they have been notified by IOM/Q-Life? |

Thanks . I have sent IRCC a webform and mails attaching the e-medical slip. I pray ircc updates my medical profile quickly. Honestly, Qlife screwed up big time! I have also mailed them expressing my displeasure. skull4eva: Mail them and send them webform again and again. But qlife no try ooo. Nah the day whey the thing end they now sent the result. |

Hello house.. Please has anybody ever experienced this issue? I need your inputs on this as Iam very confused.
Medical request was gotten on 15th of June 2022. Was given 30days within which to do it
Appointment/Medical examination done on 6th July, 2022
Qlife uploaded Medical results on 15th of July 2022
Same 15th July, Ircc stated on my profile , saying we have not received your medical exam results..
I have sent to IRCC the e-medical sent to me by Qlife, yet my medical profile has not changed.
Please what should I do? Thank you |

I am applying to extend my study permit and my child's visitor record.
Do we need a medical examination since it is an extension? Your answers are appreciated |

Congratulations EnnyOneda: Hello everyone. I am a newbie on nairaland and so hardly post, but read a lot. I am a JANUARY 2020 applicant and after 17months of waiting, I received my approval in June. Arrived Toronto today. Will share my timeline and experience once I have settled in. This is just to encourage us, that God never forgets, He will come through and you will testify. Thank you all for the wonderful information posted here which helped at one point or the other. |

Thank you for your response. skull4eva: She definitely has to do another medicals as medical last only for a year. She shud however book for an upfront medical in time and keep the medical form after the medical has been done so as to be able to use that as evidence at the POE. |

Hello house.
My wife got her admission letter last year but had to defer till Sept 2021
She did her medicals in July 2020.
She got her PPR in Dec 2020.
She is travelling in August 2021.
Does she need to do another medicals considering that the one she did in July 2020 would have expired by August 2021?
Thank you |

Please could you share those provinces that support fast tracking of work permits . And If you do not mind, could you share your timeline and supporting documents submitted for the benefit of the intending ones . Thanks. FYsol: There are some work permits that are being supported by provinces. They do refer to them as LMIA Exempt. Their applications and that of their spouses are usually processed within 2 weeks if there is no need for additional documents.
That's the reason for the short period for approval. |

Thank you Chocs. I've finally gotten a confirmation email . Cheers. Chocs: Hello Kamsiroyce
I don’t have experience with this. Hopefully others in the house can help.
If you didn’t receive a confirmation email, then you probably don’t have a reserved slot. You’d also need to print this confirmation letter to be allowed into vfs to give your biometrics
@lekkiboe @frankrobbn1 @justmellow and others, please could you help?

Thank you Just mellow. I finally got the email confirmation this morning and I now have a slot. This was after 3 days of booking for biometrics. Thank you once again. JustMellow: Hello Kamsiroyce
If a confirmation email wasn't received then it wasn't successful. Ensure you're booking for an available date. Use the search column on the thread to search for info on how to go about the process. It has been extensively discussed by Lekiboboe and others who did theirs.

Thank you @Chocs for your response. However, I have checked my spam and did not see the confirmation message. Is it right to request for another appointment? Thanks. Chocs: Hello Kamsiroyce
Have you checked your spam in your email?? The email should look like this: please see the image below
You can wait a few hours to see if it will come.

Please help. After booking for my biometrics, I did not get a mail. What should I do? Will there be a problem if I book again? Thank you. Chocs: Hello LordAA
After booking, you were meant to get an email, in that email there’s a confirm appointment button which you were meant to click. If you did that, your appointment should still be valid for the day you booked except you cancelled the appointment.

Hello, Pls I need your urgent assistance. I got my AIP in August. I have also deferred my admission and I've sent in my LOA via a webform. But over a month now, I have not gotten a feedback yet. Now, I am applying for my GCMS notes to know the status of my application and to know if they have gotten my LOA. From the form above, pls ,what should I select? STATUS UPDATE OF FILE/ REASONS FOR REFUSALS/OFFICERS ELECTRONIC NOTES OR THE APPLICATION SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS AND CORRESPONDENCES SENT TO AND/OR FROM IRCC Lekiboboe: Ok JustMellow, thanks for the explicit response...
This clarifies that someone with AIP (from NIGERIA) is at liberty to defer his/her admission without affecting the already passed ELIGIBILITY

Please, is there any one going to Usask for fall 2020 session who has gotten AIP or a medical request or any update on his/ her application?
Please kindly signify. Thanks |

Hello Gurus in the house. Iam interested in this question too. Just that mine is deferment till september 2021. Pls I will appreciate your inputs. Thanks. Spotlights: Good evening Nairalanders and the learned bosses here.
Please I want to ask if there will/ may be consequences to SP approval after AIP and medical request gotten then defer admission to January 2021 intake.
Reason is due to concentration and the time difference to study online.
Please would there be any negative effect after raising a web form to notify IRCC of the deferment?
Thanks in advance for your response |

Hello Gurus in the house. I need your responses. Thank you Kamsiroyce: Hello house.
Pls, what is the implication of my profile page and what should I expect next?
My profile reads:
-We are reviewing your eligibility
-Medicals passed (Medicals requested 23rd July. Medicals done on 25th July)
-We are processing your background check.
Note: Biometrics not done yet.

Thank you @Justmellow. She finally got her MR a day after our Child got hers. I appreciate your advise on the issue of deferment However, Iam concerned about your opening statement. "SMALL CONGRATULATIONS. Feels like there is more work to do or maybe, it is not yet an uhuru. What is your take? Thank you. JustMellow: Hello Kamsiroyce,
Small congratulations in advance. She will definitely get a MR soonest. Your child getting a MR is a positive sign for her. If she gets the approval-in-principle, she can write her school on the new development and ask for reconsideration of her admission intake which they MAY likely accept. Otherwise, there is no problem deferring or applying to other school with a close date (Winter or Summer).

No . Nothing of such in her letter milkytins: Did u see anything like this in the letter.
"Only those who are eligible to apply for a work permit or a study permit at a designated port of entry can give their biometrics upon arrival".
Cos in my own case, family of 3, they only requested for biometric from my wife who applied for an open work permit. And from such comment above, seems they want students to do their biometrics when they get to Canada. |

Kamsiroyce: Hello House pls I need your take on this.
On 31st March 2020, My wife applied for her study permit with our 9months old baby accompanying her. She has not done her biometrics due to the pandemic. Her school is to resume this fall, Sept 2020 (Remote classes).Due to the uncertainties surrounding the pandemic, and because she has not gotten a study permit (in principle) which is a prerequisite to joining the remote classes this September, her school advised her to defer her admission until Sept 2021. She has deferred and has gotten her deferral admission letter.
Yesterday, She got a mail from IRCC requesting for medicals for our 9months old baby only. Hers was not requested for.
Pls what does this request for medicals for my child imply? Why has my wife not gotten hers?
What is the implication of my wife's deferral should her study permit (in principle) be approved to begin remote classes this September?
Thank you all. Pls guys help me out with your inputs |

Heywhy19: Good Morning house . Please I need your help, I got Masters Admission offer for Fall term September 2020 but I am worried that the time left might not suffice for Visa processing, if the embassy comes with their decision after the resumption date, and let’s assume it’s not a denial, what will likely happen ?
