Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited does not usually delay payment of redeemed funds like this. However, it is very possible with the current happenings in Nigeria.

Thus, you may need to contact them. Before you do that, please be sure from your own end. Try to do the underlisted:

1. Check your MMF account to confirm if the money has been deducted from there or not.

2. Check your SMS and email inbox / spam box to be sure that after you initiated the redemption, it was successful. By confirming you received the TRANSACTION TOKEN and after using same, you received the TRANSACTION RECEIPT of the redemption.

3. Be sure you selected the right destination where the redemption is to be credited. Eg your account.

4. Check your account balance/transaction on either mobile app, internet login or ATM irrespective of whether you were to get the alert or not. Network sometimes may affect the delivery of alerts.

5. When these are checked and all is well on your part, you can just google their customer service number, call and ask to be connected to their Mutual Fund Arm. Then you can make your complain and find out possible reasons for the delay.
Thanks for your detailed guide. Actually the problem was from there end, after series of calls and an email it was rectified on 21/2/23. They said issue is from UBA custodian.

I was in urgent need for money so I did online redemption from my stanbic money market fund on Thursday 16th Feb 2023 by 8am. I was debited same day from mmf account, but have not been credited. I ve not had this delay in my other redemptions , even though its been a year since the last redemption. Should I be worried. I am in Owerri

Pls house, I am wondering why stanbic ibtc mmf is yet to Re invest my accrued interest (quarterly), and today is 9th already.
NB I started in December 2019, although they occasional reinvest interest in piece meal.,
So I want to know if it's the same with other stanbic mmf investors.

If you want quick service go direct to FBNQuest office 16/18 Keffi street Ikoyi or their website, download the form, complete it and scan back to them. . Let me say once again we should not equate MDB with other financial institution even when they in the same group/holding, in terms of business and operations they differ. though in theory they make you believe they are the same. As far as I am concern they are only the same when reporting their end of year financials as a group/holdings. Alternatively you can as well check my signature and click the link to open Abacus money market fund with investment one.
Thanks for your quick response, I am in owerri, please, is there any FBNQuest office within Imo /Anambra axis.

While is that all banks are not always happy when u want to invest in the TB

They have just been mix reactions both in
Fidelty
FBN
You are very right, especially Firstbank they will so frustrate you ,.
They made me move my funds to Stanbic. I must say that stanbic is the best from my experience so far. I just walk in to bank, ask for Tbill form, fill it and it's done. I have been doing this for 3yrs, with stanbic both primary and secondary market.

I applied for primary Tbill 364 days with stanbic ibtc which was not successful. Up until now my money has not been returned (hanging). . I called them yesterday (Thursday), they told me I will be credited early today (Friday) , now today is almost over still no show.
Two working days has passed .
I am worried cos I wanted to move the money to any other bank (Firstbank or GTB) with better rate for secondary market.
I have been doing TB for 3yrs., but this is the first time of been unsuccessful.

Pls ma you can mail me on arem.sam@gmail.com so I can send some materials to you for you to study as guide. I don't tell people stocks to buy except my households so I want u to do it yourself. Since my experience of 2008 market crashed, I have told myself that I can't make loss again in capital market and as such, I went extra mile to read about stock investment. Even my broker can't tell me stocks to buy and time to buy it. I only discuss with him occasionally to sample his mind on a stock after I have done my due diligence. Before I could buy diff stocks like 10 companies but now just max of 4 and am OK for my yr target and am thinking of reducing it to just 2. These are the result of self research and due diligence. Get prepared and become great like my mentor Warren buffet, many will keep complaining about APC PDP while guys are making millions legitimately. See you in the board room!
Please I am interested in the material.
My email is cecilurch@gmail. com
Thanks in anticipation.

Gurus in the house, please i need your input in this :
I have Tbill that will mature 14th February 2019,which I will re invest. I intend to do 3.3M for 364days for at least 14%., but due to some unexpected expenditures, I will have only 2.9M to invest.
My Questions is :
Should I write 3.3M in the Tbill primary market form(even though I have 2.9M in the account)
Knowing fully well that the 2.9M covers the discount value?
I know this is not applicable to Firstbank. I am asking as regards stanbic ibtc since Stanbic usually debit discount value in Tbill.
NB
Face value = 3.3M
Discount value = 2.838M
Assuming rate = 14%
Tenor =364 days
Thanks

Kindly whatsapp me on 08066109307. I feel I was ripped off. Eco Bank gave me 11.5% for 360 days. Does it depend on the amount? Is yours above 10million please
Regards.
It does not depend on amount. Mine was 2.2M Actually, I went to my bank which is Firstbank on a Tuesday morning to fill the form for primary market 182days, they said it was late, and they tried to convince me to do fixed deposit, I asked for secondary market , they claimed none was available with their non chalant attitude, I quickly transferred my money to my stanbic account ,
At stanbic I filled the form for primary market for 182days, and left. But d money did not reflect until about 1pm( NB submission closes by 12noon)
So I received a call from stanbic on Wednesday asking me if I can buy from secondary market and the available rates and days. I gave a go ahead order and within minutes I got alert.
I must say the that there customer service is top notch.
And I got 12.3% for 148days while CBN stop rate was12.2% for 182days.

From the TB 4th quarter calendar posted here, it seems there is another auction next week. I intend to use my matured Stanbic 364 days to bid for that. Will visit the bank on Monday to confirm that there is an auction.
Bro Pls confirm if there is another auction next week and share. Awaiting your reply.

My TB matured today so I missed out from yesterday own. I have extra cash to add to the previous one.
My questions are :
1)Should I wait for 2weeks for the next auction or should I buy from secondary market (not done sec market b4)
2)l bank with both FBN and Stanbic, but have been doing TB with only FBN for 2years now, should I split the fund into two so I can do with Stanbic as well?
What do you guys think.
