That's Africans for you. When they are not up there, they don't want anyone else to be ahead of them. For them to push the person so the person can come back and bring them up too, nooo. They have to be on the same level. "He shall not be better than me, lailai."

Sagamite: You are obviously not going to suppress the desire, but you can suppress the public act. That is the point.

If you go to Arab countries, you will not see people kissing their partners in public. The laws and culture supress it. So it is possible.

What makes it fail is when you have loose cultural protection and democracy. That is the correlation you would see with the failure of such.

Democracy means every person has a right to vote and their vote carries equal weight. That is bad because there are far more fucktards than people with a brain in every society and the more the culture is not being protected by law, the more the fucktards would beat their chest that they know something while being influenced by other mediums.

I was laughing my arsse off when I was reading this recently:

www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-20932705

Where impressionable fucktards like Kandi called themselves "forward thinking" because they admire a woman without any talent and only came into popularity because she had a sex tape. And the old people who object to her are conservative.

That is the mentality of the so-called "progressives" nowadays. grin

Lucy Harutiunyan, a 22-year-old public relations officer at Armenian and English newspaper Noyan Tapan, in Yerevan, agrees age has a bearing.

"People who have conservative opinions, which tends to be elders, will judge her. But people who are forward thinking are all proud of her.

"Girls see her as a fashion icon, guys think she's really hot. We love her because she is Armenian and she represents the nation," she says.

I was just laughing when I read that part, I swear. People have become MAD!

These bunch of liberal, funky, progressive wannabe ediots we have nowadays actual think they are the enlightened ones. grin grin grin

To better Africa and take it from the hands of these azzholes called leaders who are selling our resources to the west, eating the cash and paying less than £1 to those working their azzes off at the oil refineries, farms, mines etc. We need to leave the acts of barbarism, corruption, greed etc behind. Homosex.uality is not the problem. We have bigger fish to fry.

Be "forward thinking" and "enlightened." Think big. Those living abroad, Work, save, move back to Africa and help make a difference. Do not lose faith in your beloved continent like sagamite, who will live and die in the UK without leaving any legacy behind.

We have entered a new age and things have to change and are going to change!

Sagamite: This is now your moronic angle of conjecture throwing?

So saying we condemn homosexuality equals we think the West are the source of our problems?

And with this deduction, you claim you are in university?
Sagamite, why are you mentioning the west then? You are contradicting yourself joor. Moronic? I think you need to look in the mirror, mate. It's written all over your forehead. We are talking about Africa, you keep mentioning the west, therefore, implying that the west are the cause because they tolerate it, it's rubbing on us Africans(I.e. Me, because I believe people should be allowed to choose their sexu.ality-to you because of this mentality I have an inferiority complex).

If you use your brain, you will realise that my posts implies a lot of issues not just homosex.uality and the fact that people blame the west for the issues. You mentioned university but your lack of comprehension, understanding but fan of big words doesn't make your post any smart or logical. You don't need to go university to understand the issues destroying africa and homosexu.ality is definitely not one of them. Stopping homosex.uality in africa will not turn it into a first world continent.

Sagamite: Show me where I said the West are the cause of our problems.
It's written all over your posts. For you to bring in the west and say I have been fed, it shows how you feel the west is the problem.

I've heard all over this forum that the west brought homosex.uality to Africa. Africa doesn't know what homo is.
Sagamite: No!

You mentioned it like the typical, impressionable, western child. That is the typical moronic platitude of the "progressives" that you want to be like!

You said it was not being dealt with while homosexuals were being taken to court.

It is the kind of moronic argument used to brainwash you which you quickly accepted to feel among and be funky!

Such silly conjectures shows your lack of objectivity because one can count the amount of times people have been taken to court for homosexuality in Africa as a whole on two hands while there are lots of cases of child abuse in only one country.

Yes, we baboons actually object to child molestation contrary to what you funky whiteys think.
Lool, see how inferior you think? Instead of accepting the truth you now resort to sarcasm and calling yourself a baboon. You are weak!

Sagamite, it will not work. You asked me where you mentioned the west is the problem but here you go mentioning 'west, west, west' meaning my opinions means lack of principles, boundaries therefore problems for Africa.

You are talking absolute shyt. So, because I mentioned the lack of action against child molesters, I now sound like a typical western child? Lol, your arrogance and ignorance is astonishing. Because I decide not to conform to acts of barbarism and injustice, I am now a white woman? I pity you! Using the excuse that I have been westernise makes no difference. Africa cannot progress with your mentality.

Why are you in the west sagamite? Why are you living and working in the uk and not Africa if the west is so phucked up with their lack of boundaries, principles and morals? When were you last in Africa? Why are you phucking western women sagamite? The west is soooo bad yet you will not step foot in Africa?

It's funny how it's those who live in the west who chat so much shyt about the west but tell them to go live in Africa, they'll go running back in their holes.

Bloody hypocrites!

You're just an inferior black man living in England, pretending to care about Africa but you won't even want your kids to grow up there. I know your types, I can see right through you.

Let me ask you a question, you been living in the west for ages, when are you moving back to Africa to make a difference?

I can understand that you've gone away too long so you have these images of Africa as having high morals and principles. That image is false. wink

Oh, ye azzholes, stop blaming the west for your problems. We are the cause of our own problems. To get to the root of the problem, you have to find the source and it's not the west! We find faults in others so we can forget our own. Stop living in denial and accept the truth!

Sagamite: Wow!

Sorry, white woman! grin

You just proved everything I said about you.
Yeah right, MR the west are the cause of my problems but I live there and phuck their women whilst looking down on the women from my continent.

You are nothing but a weak inferior black man who blames the west for all the problems, paints Africa golden but won't dare step foot to live there.

You have issues you need to sort out and I need to give you a huge azz slap right across your face. tongue

Sagamite: Cut the crap!

These are the moronic arguments you see generated when you are brainwashed.

I am sure there are laws in the African statute books that gives punishment to abuses on kids.

I am sure there are 100 times more cases going to court of child molesters than gays.

So how did you come up with this bullshit argument? You just felt like conjuring it because it sounds funky and so-called "progressive"?
You talked of limiting freedom so I brought it up because we have worse things to deal with.

You been away too long sagamite. So, because there may be laws against child abuse it's ok not to mention it?

This is very very stup!d of you because if you have been around Africa much you will realise how bad and lenient the culture is regarding the abuse of children. Obviously, in Africa, we do not know the phrase, "se.xual abuse." They get and phuck whoever they want to phuck or marry because they are "principled." Oh, did I say they can walk down the streets with their heads held up high looking down on two men who decide to have consensual s.ex.

Yes, saga, this is what you call principles and boundaries. "You can phuck a small girl and burn a small boy but that's where is stops. We have boundaries, phucking another man in the anus is crossing the boundaries. Oh wait, it's sexy though for two women to finger each other but two men? No, no we have morals!"

coogar: this is the most ignorant statement on this forum since it's existence.....
i dunno why many of you do not bother to read - the only reason HIV continues to spread is because of homosexuality. they spread the infection 2-3 times as much as the straight people. in a poverty-stricken climate like nigeria where there's little or no education about preventive measures, the infection would spread like wildfire. we have enough problems already in nigeria with witchcraft, corruption and lack of leadership. we cannot afford to add faggotry to the existing problems!
In as much as gays are more likely to get infected, that is a BIG FAT LIE.

Are you telling me in Africa, it's the homos that are spreading it? huh

No, it's because of the lack of education.
CrimeRe: Gay Men Stripped & Paraded In Imo State by kandiikane(m): 11:07pm On Jan 16, 2013
Sagamite: You gave me an example that shows how it can affect people.

It only affects you, if you let it affect you. They discriminated against the two men and the law made the right decision. As I have said before, it's needed for us to have a better society

We don't persecute, we just refuse to embrace perversion. Any sane society would have boundaries against perversion and instil it in its moral codes.

you don't? Than why do we have this thread on nairaland and people taking justice in their own hands. 14years?

Check the meaning of perversion in the dictiionary for complete clarity. Don't assume the meaning.
huh

This is stewpid!
it's not. smiley

Who told you that Africans had all the principles required? Because they lack principled in some aspects then they should not have in any?

ok, now you are just running off the point

Cut the crap tryign to use the down-troddenness of Africa as an excuse not to have any morals.

so, jailing gay people means having morals? I believe you've been away too long.

There are more complex issue than morals for the predicament of Africa. The predicament that makes young ones like you quickly embrace anything fed to you in the West just to show you associate with "progressives". You need a stronger personality to question and drop the subconcious inferiority complex.
blah blah bullshyt! Don't use the excuse that because I'm younger than you, I've been manipulated by the west. That is a huge fallacy. I believe YOU have an inferior complex, you cannot control your own society or better your own so you find faults in the west and use it as an excuse for social decadence. You are weak, you follow the phucked up regime in your continent which is killing it slowly. You cannot even take care of your own, outsiders have to come and solve your issues for you whether it's in your favour or not.

It's because of your ignorance and arrogance that's why we will never move forward. The west doesn't have principles or boundaries but yet they are doing better than your dear 'principled' continent. Many of you chatting shyt about the west flock over there for better lives. HA! I laugh at the irony.

Limiting freedom is putting a man or woman who abuses a kid in jail, not two men or women who love each other and decide to raise a family.

But noo, we rather put gays in jail and leave the child molesters to roam the streets of Africa. LOL! Seriously, someone spare me the bull.

Sagamite: Jailing homosexuals makes Africa a better place because it demonstrates a saner society.
Bullshyt!
Sagamite: You are asking me such a silly question of how does it affect my life but at the same time giving me an example of how people were told to pay a fine for not wanting filth being performed in their home that they use as a business?

We have to tolerate each other does not mean toleration should not have boundaries. Otherwise the UK would not be prosecuting people for using or engaging prostitution.

Don't give me that bullcrap you have been brainwashed with by the funky society you grew up in. I don't do funky. Every sane society has moral principles and standards. Morals is essential to societies, it is how you specify cohabiting principles in them where people live peacefully. Morals would even ignore the so-called tolerance in some cases. Freedom has limits in societies if you want a sane society.
How is my question silly? I gave you an example to show you that we should tolerate eachother.

I was brought up in the same 'funky' society as you(the African society) but I for one was not brought up ignorant and riding on a high horse. We have principles and we have boundaries but it doesn't mean we should proscecute someone for their sexua.l orientation. I am not the one getting it in the azz, so why you I start huffing and puffing over it?

You talk of principles-see, this is the same facade I was talking about. Lol, talk of principles, but come from one of the most phucked up continents where even with the high morals, boundaries and principles, it's still messed up. People burnt a kid in the streets of Nigeria and you talk of principles. Spare me the bullshyt, joor.

it's a criminal offence in nigeria!
the law clearly states that any form of homoerotic behaviour must attract a long custodial sentence. i am not happy that they were paraded nüde - they should have just handed them to the law but nigerians love to see other people's gënitals. it's an innate behaviour. tongue
It's called a sex.ual deviance by those who do not condone it.

Africans try to paint the continent as a no-nonsense continent with high morals but what we don't realise is how backwards it is and immoral it is, in fact it's an absolute cesspool! How has jailing homose.xuals made Africa a better place? We use the little issues to cover up the main ones. We have worst things and disgusting issues to be worrying about but noo. Oh, yes, homosexuality is the reason for Africa's problems.

Sagamite: The way it affected the life of those UK Xtians who were penalised at their work because they conscentiously refused to engage in gay marriage.

The way it affects UK people that have to constantly watch how perverse concept as gay people with kids are promoted and put on TV as an alternative form of family.

The barbarians are at the gates, don't tell us to wait till they come into the city before we arm ourselves.

Now in the UK, in the hierarchy of rights, gay rights is above the right to religious beliefs. Only if the UK citizens had not listened to the rubbish of "how does it affect your life".

People like us had seen it a long time before it even happened.
Spare me the bull, sagamite. I need serious answers here. How does it affect your life? How does two men or two women raising a child affect your life? How has is affected your wellbeing? Every single person has a right to state their opinion but it doesn't mean it's right. You don't condone gay marriage, fine but it doesn't mean you have to impose your opinion on others.

People discriminate against gays at work, not the other way round.

There was that case on the news about the lodge or inn where two gay couples went and were kicked out by the owners. I personally don't think it was right for the owners to pay compensation because in the end, it was their right to deny them access but I could understand why. For us to live in a better society, we have to tolerate each other even if you do not accept or condone eachothers lifestyles or cultures. The keyword here is tolerate, not accept.

If you want to go with this theory, then it has to be said that noone is born straight either.

How is it your business if someone wants to sleep with another man? How will it affect your life? Don't you have important things to worry about in your own personal life?
