Dipo Awojide who goes by the name @Ogbenidipo on twitter has advised Nigerian men to spend a larger part of their income on their girlfriends. He for instance mentioned that if a man earns N65,000 monthly as salary, N50,000 should go to his girlfriend. And he spoke specifically on ladies having their National Youth Service. He said they should be given priorities by their boyfriends as they go through a lot of stress and suffering at the NYSC orientation camps. He argued that Guys should give out nothing less than N50,000 to their girlfriends who are in NYSC camp, “to secure their investment”. He even went further to state that guys who earn less aren’t exempted, as even those who earn about N65,000 per month, should still be able to give out N50,000 to her, while he manages the rest. Dipo Awojide has this to say;- Your gf is in NYSC camp and you cannot send her 50k in 2/3 weeks? Do you know the temptation in NYSC camp? If you cannot visit her, at least send small money. Protect your investment Uncle. If you cannot send small money to your gf in NYSC camp then free here. Allow Uncle Femi, Bro Dapo, Uncle Wole or Uncle Dayo do their thing “Kings, take care of your women. Look after them emotionally, financially and satisfy their sexual needs. This one is not a joke. He was then asked by a twitter user if the boyfriend just got a job at a call centre and what he earns is just N65,0000 He responded thus:- If your salary is N65,000 there is nothing wrong in giving your babe who is going to NYSC N50k out of that N65k. You are a man. Manage the rest. Well as a Nigerian guys, would you give your girlfriend N50,000 out of your salary, irrespctive of how much you earn? http://wepublicisenaija.com/48289/if-you-earn-n65000-monthly-give-your-girlfriend-n50000-nigerian-man-says/

A new proposal suggests fining harassers 90 euro for following women or making lewd comments in public. (iStock) French officials believe they’ve created a solution to the cat-calling epidemic in France: They’re going to make the harassers pay — literally. A piece of proposed legislation in France will ask the French government to institute a fine of 90 euros ($111 USD) for anyone heard making lewd comments about females or harassing women in public, according to a report in The Local. WOMAN TAKES SELFIES WITH CAT-CALLERS, TURNS THEM INTO VIRAL INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT The fine will be aimed at anyone exhibiting “behavior that is an infringement of the freedom of movement of women in public spaces and undermines self-esteem and the right to security.” These actions may include, but are likely not limited to, following a woman, making loud comments about her body, or blocking her way down the street. Earlier reports indicated that men could also be fined for wolf-whistling at women, although that wasn’t included in the latest version of the report, The Local notes. “The point is that the whole of society has to redefine what it will accept and what it will not,” said Marlene Schiappa, France’s junior minister for gender equality, told La Croix shortly after announcing plans to create the new legislation in October, reports Quartz. marlene schiappa reiuters French Junior Minister for Gender Equality Marlene Schiappa has spearheaded the proposed legislation. In 2017, we witnessed a lot of iconic moments from “The Real Starboy” He performed at the World Biggest Stages, entered the Guinness World Book of Records, won several international awards, became the first African to sell out the Royal Albert Hall and also ending the year on a good note. However, Nigerians are wondering, how can Wizkid release a whole album without any video to show for it We expected hits like African Bad Gyal and Picture Perfect to get videos, but Wizkid probably constricting himself to the label’s terms and conditions did not release any videos. Weeks after releasing SFTOS, Wizkid release three singles; Odoo, Medicine and Medicine Remix. Wizkid promised three videos, however no video was done for the three songs. Fast Forward to November 2017, Wizkid released Manya, a beautiful sample to VVIP’s song, Ahomka Wemu. What got us skeptical was the fact that it was a collaborative effort between him and Legendury Beatz (Mutay). Why was Mutay included? Wizkid probably had to feature Mutay in the song (who obviously didn’t produce the Song or sang just to camouflage and scam Sony into believing Mutay was the owner of the song). However, when the video was uploaded to YouTube on Wizkid’s Vevo, it was removed due to a clause in Wizkid‘s Sony Deal which states that there’s a limitation in the amount of local content he can release. To further give credence to this fact, who remembers when in 2016, Davido had to wait for 9 months until he could release new content. He ranted at them on Snapchat was left frustrated and his eventual output, Son Of Mercy EP was slept on and didn’t receive enough appeal from the fans. Davido had to re-negotiate his contract to allow him release songs anytime he liked. Davido gave us 3 Hits in 2017! To further compound his problems, Wizkid’s soon to be released track, Soco is a feature involving him and 3 other artistes. Obviously, this was also done to make Sony believe it’s just a collaborative effort and not his own personal input. Nice move, a video is to be released for the song with Wizkid introducing the best Shaku Shaku dancers from Nigeria for the song which was supposed to be Wizkid’s track alone! Well, if you don’t believe this, why didn’t “Every Time” by Wizkid featuring Future get a video? Wizkid didn’t promote the song, released the song for free on Soundcloud and no visuals for the song. It was one of the potential hit songs that was slept on in 2017. Our question now is Is Sony Music Inhibiting Wizkid From Releasing New Songs? Is There A Part Of The Contract We Need To Understand And Won’t This Affect Wizkid In 2018? Tell us what you think. Drop your comments. http://wepublicisenaija.com/11054/is-sony-music-trying-to-destroy-wizkids-career-read-this-share-your-opinion/

Here are 11 good reasons why students fail Jamb, The Joint Administration and matriculation board has remain a major exams body conducting Universities matriculation examinations (UTME) in all the states of the federal republic of Nigeria. Since her inception, it has been many people’s Achilles hill as they can’t dance to the tune of the exams. To worsen the whole case, post-UTME that gave students the second chance of getting admission was scrapped out by President Muhammedu Buhari led administration and JAMB was made the only exams body which conducts examinations for those going to the higher institutions. Enter School Without Jamb At Esm Benin Republic In order to remain on the safe side, there are certain things which every student could do to emerge successfully in the exams. I bet you, if any candidates can avoid common mistakes attributed to jamb, then success could be theirs. Reasons Why Students Fail JAMB Here are 11 good reasons why students fail Jamb 1. Failure to follow the syllables Jamb syllables have been a veritable tool in the hand of students seeking admission into higher institution. Research has shown that 90 percent of those that excel in Jamb are those who study the syllables comprehensively. We strongly recommend all candidates to have a take a look at the syllabus for every subject they registered. Pay attention to the subjects you’re anticipated to master and let it guide your studies. This way, you’ll spend no time reading things which are irrelevant to the examination. Many students have recorded successesin their UME exams because of the adamant study of the syllable. 2. Laisez-faire attitude towards Brochure: The syllables has been a helpful tool, but many students have dispute the facts that the brochure is another veritable tool for which students can use to scale through the hurdles of jamb. Studnets preparing for UME have neglected the study of the brochure. Some register to study a course blindly which may not be offered by their choice university. Candidates are advised to study the brochure carefully before filling the jamb online registration slip. This will also be a guide on a way to fill the Jamb utility form, help you in making perfect preference of the courses you are intellectually suited. 3. Poor study habits The word student only comes from the word study. You may follow the brochure and strictly adhere to the registration processes of Jamb, but the truth remains that academic excellent solely depend on veheminent study of your texts books and other recommended books in the syllables. The ultimate thing to do while preparing for UME exams is to study Jamb CBT Past Questions since the exam is now computer-based. A good number of student give the excuse of being so busy, hitherto they can’t study. No matter the tight schedule of a candidate, it is adviceable for a candidate to create time for effective studies. It will also be advantageous for a candidiate to enroll in extra-moral classes. 4. Failure to register JAMB in time Time waits for no man- is a popular adage. Tick says the clock tick tick is another adage. The fact that Jamb offers enough time for its registration is not a ground for candidates to register late for the exams. Procrastinating to register on time has caused a whole lot of failure in JAMB UME examinations. Here is how late registration affects candites: Candidates are given unconducive/unequipped centers. Some are slated for rural areas for the exams and guess what! These can cause candidtes to fail. 5. Lack of Speed: Candidates who apply speed speed in the exams do emerge successfully. JAMB UME examination is not an exams for babies, but for matured minds whob are ready to face the other world of the university. The examiners give a very limited time of about 40 minuites. However, this time waits for no ,man as it ticks every seconds. Don’t forget this: You can’t pause the time to do one thing or the order, like having a convenient or answering to the attendance. The time goes very fast and stops automatically for everyone. Whether you came to the exams venue late. Did you know that intelligent students still fail Jamb? Yes! Not because they are not intelligent, but because they do not apply speed. 6. Failure to arrive at the exams venue early Tears droped from her eyes, I could remember vividly she was a girl, tall and she spoke intelligently. All her tears was in vain, all her pleas was wasted as the invigilator was so tenacious in his decision. Futher findings revealed that she was the best in her secondary school who made history by recording 9A’s in the west African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE ), but on that faithful day she was late to her UME exams. That was how she failed JAMB. It is so obvious that many candidates are seen doing some print out on their exams day and this warrant their lateness to exams. It is adviseable for candidates to do all necessary things prior to the day of their exams. If your exams center is in a long distance or in another state, try to be there atleast a day before and get to know your center. 7. Computer illiteracy Yes we are in a computer a computer age where computer and other computer related devices are easily accessd, yet computer illiteracy still rocks among young school leavers. Since 2014, Jamb had progressed from the rostrum of PPT to the rostrum of CBT which made way for the utilization of computers for the exams. It is appaling that many candidates still cannot operate this computers during exams and thereby failure comes in. It is adviceable for can didates to undergo Computer Base Training before the day of their exams. 8. Incomplete materials Yes, this has possed a problem to many candidates. The exams day is like an injury period which a simple mistake can hurt for life. Before departing for the exams hall check out for your materials such as Jamb print out, Passports etc. Read the necessary instructions and adhere to it. Where you are to bring a colour print-out please don’t bring a black and white print out. 9. Deafness to attendance You must be all ears while writing your exams. Are you writing with your ears? Of course not, so candidates have to pay adequate attention to attendance while writing the exams. Your attendance indicates your present in the exams and failure to answer to it means that you did not write the exams. 10. Unconducive/unequipped exams center One major thing that poses a threat to JAMB in Nigeria is their poor and unequipped exams environment. These have pose a psychological effect on many students. The progression from PPT (Paper and pencil test) to CBT (Computer Base Test) has not change Jamb’s poor Examination Environment. 11. Misinformation Many students are misinform about Jamb exams. They are given fake information which has no relationship to the afore mentioned exams. It is a known facts that are many myths and conceptions surrounding the exams and the exams body. All this should me taken with a pinch of salt as many of them are rumors and not facts. If this article was helpful, please don’t hesitate sharing.
