I am a UK citizen, and I comfortably live in Nigeria without light and water when I am there. When light goes and people around me cry "Nepa" I ask them if they were not expecting the light that has always been going to go.

That said, UK is far much better than Nigeria, though life in UK used to be "solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short" according to Thomas Hobbes. The British people learnt that they were responsible for the conditions they live under and changed it to benefit themselves, as we will one day do too.

Very happy you are comfortable in your Nigerian circumstances. It is a man’s world in Nigeria, so I can never accept such conditions. That is what it really means to be a Nigerian.
