Freestainworld:
How did you know it was IPOB? just asking, or is it because they gave an order for sit at him, or had it turned out that when ever their is an attack now in the East, they will shout, it is IPOB. I am not an ipobian but we should try and get our facts right before hanging a bone on the dog's neck just to give it a bad name.
You are an IPOB sympathiser.
Why would IPOB give such order? Who gave them such authority?
Keep on asking dumb questions until you are overrun by terrorists.

Politics / Re: Declare State Of Emergency In Southeast- IGBO Group Tells FG by Karanka: 7:14am On Aug 10, 2021
The people supporting an unconstitutional organisation like IPOB will definitely have themselves to blame at the long run.
This same IPOB will so deal with Igbos and erode every advancement they have made so far. It's just a matter of time.
This is the makings of a terrorist organisation. Since even touts and illiterates will not allow voices of reason.

Sit at home all you want but don't disturb other people going about their businesses.
If you disturb them, then you should be ready to bear whatever consequence comes from it.

So how will the communities afford the expenses to transport dead bodies to the UK?

Do you know how much it cost to transport dead bodies and how will they even get the documents to transport it? You think they will just go to the airport and say they are transferring bodies ?

This has got to be the dumbest question ever on the planet.
No offence, bro.

Anambra has her own distinct culture and pattern of doing things totally different from the rest of other states. The Anambra culture is generally different from the rest of Igbos.
Guy please stop this! This your reasoning is very nauseating. What sort of rubbish logic is this? If you are not capable of reasoning deeply, must you comment?

She is an Imo state elder and not an elder in anambra state
Alright. So going by your logic, MNK's issue has nothing to do with people from other states in Igboland apart from Abia, right?
In fact, he should focus on liberating people from Abia state from Nigeria instead of the whole of Southeast, right? Since he is from Abia and has nothing to do with other Igbos?
Furthermore, there should be nothing like an Igbo presidency; rather, it ought to be a president from Abia or Anambra, right?
You see, the way some of you reason makes one want to puke.

Lawd!
I wonder what this world is turning to.
You mean as an Igbo elder, Onyeka Onwenu can not openly address an issue that has to do with the value system of Igbos without miscreants calling her out?
What the hell is wrong with some Igbos?
After destroying your elites, you'd turn around to cry that they are not there for you when you find yourself in trouble.
Politics / Re: What Do Onyeka Onwenu Know About Anambra And Igbo Culture? by Karanka: 4:57pm On Jul 29, 2021
OP, please, for the sake of whatever you hold sacred, never you ever mention Onyeka Onwenu in stupid topics such as this.
There should be a limit to your public display of indiscretion and stupidity, even if you don't have elders in your village to counsel you.

Breaking nigeria need serious planning and alliance, not the type Igbo Igbos are doing.

This should not being a new thing for Igbos to know,oh it seems kanu was really stupid not to know britain will be against him in this game.

He should be broadcasting his radio from panama, chestbeat and boost less.Igbos should learn a lesson here, stop chest beating ang spreading fake propaganda against other ethnicity,Nor be only una sabi fight or do gra gra.

Igbos should learn diplomacy, they lack it and feel too big to learn it.

Kanu gave himself out,If buhari wanted him dead,he have ordered him to be killed there in kenya and Ipob will not know the killers.

All these events, shows that Igbos are just pure noise makers, after all the threat and propaganda their leader was still caught like an ant.

I thought by now IPOB will set nigeria on fire, but no na just social media noise them fit do reach.Anyway,Igbos are not that smart like they claim.Chestbeating is not bravery, but cowardice.
You should feel good with yourself now that you are done insulting a whole ethnic group because of one man, not so?
You are indeed very very very intelligent.

This could be true. In Ikwerre land we had a lot of Igbo slaves. They were called Owhu. (Slaves) This is not to say we conquered the Igbos, they were bought since they would be carried across Ikwerre land on their way to the Atlantic,
The strong men among them would be brought off by well to do Ikwerre men and other tribes along the coast line.
You don't have se*nse.
What do you think that Igbos call slaves?

We all have a history. Blacks were originally foods for the whites to feast on; sell, use and discard as common items. It does not define us even though it is a part of our history.

The idea that Igbos of old were taken as slaves by the Old Bini Kingdom does not change or mean anything. The Old Bini was formidable and vast. It does not necessarily make them cowards.
Igbos were not taken as slaves by the old Benin kingdom. Stop listening to history revisionists.

Reno doesn't have sense at all.
No tribe was shielded from slavery.
Even Binis and Itsekiris were taken as slaves by Igbos and other tribes.
What happened back then was a matter of opportunity. If you had opportunity to acquire a slave even from Chad, then you could.
For him to cite this as a reason for cultural influence and not something like decades of trades and social interaction between Igbos and their neighbours shows that Reno is indeed a big fo*ol.

Politics / Re: Igboho Yoruba Defence - What Igbo Leaders Can Learn From Hausa & Yoruba Leaders by Karanka: 3:02pm On Jul 20, 2021
OP, so you want Igboland to turn to North East for the sake of supporting their own?
The same Igbos that lost over 5 million people during the civil war for "supporting" Ojukwu who was obviously unprepared for the war and later escaped with his family, leaving the same Igbos that gave him 100% "support" to the mercy of their enemies?
OP, I don't just want to curse you or insult you; but you should know that Igbos are tired of dying. They are tired of harbingers of violence and destruction to the Igboland after years upon years of suffering to get to this point.
If you want to protest or preach secession, you and your family should take it to Aso rock.
Leave South East out of it for now!

Tell us the security breach in the state that warrants killing naval officers and parsenggers?
When there is serious insecurity issue in a place and the people entrusted to curb such are wilfully indolent, it wouldn't be surprising if different factions rear up.
In such scenario, who would you blame?
Politics / Re: Anambra People Do Not Allow Nnamdi Kanu Ruin Your State And Peace by Karanka: 10:35pm On Mar 20, 2021
Put the blame squarely on FG's table.
The government failed to protect the citizens, what do you expect the citizens to do?
Fold their arms and cite diplomatic rules of engagement while their ancestral lands are overrun by soulless marauders?
Then in like 200 years time, folks would start doubting if there was ever a region known as the Southeast... God forbid!
If the hunter learns how to shoot without aiming, the bird will also learn how to fly without perching.

You've not even seen anything yet.
You'd be maligned, castigated, abused, betrayed, back-stabbed,insulted and ridiculed even by the same people you're trying to save.
Ask Mr Kanu.
Welcome once more.

And that's exactly why we're here enjoying those with the balls. We're in this together
Having balls doesn't translate to being a bad leader or being incompetent; that's the mistake most of you are making.
To make you understand better, would you say that Obama didn't have balls as a president?
How about Trump and Biden?
Having balls in this context means understanding the peculiarities of the country and the people you wish to lead, and for a country like Nigeria, being seen as fully in charge.
Jonathan wasn't any of these.
He lost control of a key tool of a government - propaganda.
He allowed his opposition to hijack it until it was too late.

That is the problem. He stepped aside too late.
He should have stepped aside early enough, not when he knew all the stakes were up against him and that he was going to lose.
That was weakness and indecisiveness in a combo. Not good for a president of a country like Nigeria.

Unlike the Igbo's, Yoruba's are blessed with visionary leaders and governors who genuinely love their people above material and other things..
South east governors sold Kanu out, Yoruba governors wouldn't dare do that to sunday.
I'm not sure you know what you're talking about.
Maybe you're just saying this to further sweeten the concept of having an Odua country.
Have you considered the big elephant in the room - Tinubu?
Would you still be steadfast in this if you were offered the presidency?
Agitating for secession isn't like eating ewedu and amala.

Hugh clipperton documented some Yoruba words and their meaning when he visited oyo empire in the early 17th century one of them is OBAH and it meanings KING.

17th century is very recent.
Other tribes were using"Oba" to mean kingship or something close to that way before that period.
