Shame on Oby Ezekwesili... A woman that was previously held in high esteem allowed herself to be manipulated, used, discarded like an old habit. When people say being educated doesn't necessarily mean being wise, they know what they're saying. 1 Like |

What bothers me more apart from the obvious insensitivity of Buhari concerning the whole issues bedeviling Nigeria,is the hypocrisy of some Nigerians who pretended as if they were all for the good of the Nigerians during past governments with their two-faced criticisms and protests ,only to start feigning blind, deaf and dumb in this present government when Nigeria is fast going down the hill. For me,these are part of the major problems of Nigeria. As for Buhari,Nigerians just made like 50 years backward movemeent there. 24 Likes 1 Share |

doctokwus:You guys have a serious misplaced sense of patriotism. The man in question invested whatever money he has in a project that will impact the lives of Nigerians positively instead of building mansions and buying exotic cars for himself or dumping the money in a foreign account abroad as most Nigerian politicians would do,and instead of you to loud him, you're here mouthing off. Maybe if he had built this in Lagos or Abuja or your hometown, you wouldn't have been this 'patriotic' all of a sudden. Who told you he doesn't have any other business that generates income for him? Or that it is impossible to save up and build this kind of thing from salaries? 3 Likes |

With all due sense of patriotism, shame on all the people who helped foist this kind of government on Nigerians and a big fat shame on Buhari who deemed it appropriate to be globetrotting when the nation is in various forms of crisis. This is indeed the most insensitive government in the history of Nigeria. 8 Likes |

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Between A Multi National And Lecturing Job by Karanka: 11:54am On Nov 25, 2015 |
Abyam:Brother, take the company job. It has more to offer to you than being an assistant lecturer. It's not a bed of roses for lecturers in state institutions in Nigeria. Most of them do a lot of things to keep their heads above the water. Take the company job, only that this time around, while at it,be wise in terms of saving for the future and upgrading yourself academically. Lecturing jobs will always be there so long as you have the basic requirements, but you can't say same for multinational company jobs. 1 Like |

Mandela for one was touted to have created a terrorist group as at about early 1960s which he pleaded guilty to. Allow people to choose who their hero is. |

Which ever way you look at it,this man Nnamdi Kanu will end up being a hero. He's like a big pain in the a.ss of the government - release him,and he becomes a hero and may continue from where he stopped, imprison him,and the protests and agitations may still continue and he will be seen as an imprisoned freedom fighter. |

Well, sensible voice here... The fact is that the Biafra agitators are saying and displaying openly what majority of Nigerians secretly yearn for but are afraid or too pretentious to voice it out in the open. 1 Like |

And what is even wrong about a people demanding for their own independent nation? Eeh? What is wrong with that? Politics / Re: If You Are Igbo And Not In Support Of Biafra Say "Yea" by Karanka: 8:41pm On Nov 19, 2015 |
The question of actualization of Biafra is a matter of when... I don't honestly see this country improving in terms of unity and indivisibility in the future with the way things are presently. So a time will come when,if not the Southeasterners, other people will definitely try to be independent. It's just a matter of time. 9 Likes |
Politics / Re: Tribalism In Biafria Will Be Worst Than That Of Nigeria (opinion) by Karanka: 1:58pm On Nov 18, 2015 |
OP,whether you're Igbo or not, what you've said here is a serious issue that every right thinking Igbo should address. It's so shameful seeing Igbos from different states belittle and castigate themselves over rubbish childish issues that breed nothing positive but division, mistrust and hatred amongst Igbos. What happened to the great Igbo people that were once known for "nwanne di na mba" or "Ofu obi"? Infact, this is what I think should be addressed and routed out before Biafra comes; otherwise,in times of trying times, the crisis might start from within. This is why some Igbos will prefer to stay put in Nigeria (where the hate can be diffused because of the many tribes) than to have a separate nation where hate will be concentrated even from the people you see as your kinsmen. |
Politics / Re: We Can No Longer Afford The Importation Of Rice-buhari by Karanka: 1:00pm On Nov 18, 2015 |
This one na just mere useless talk to divert attention from the continuous merciless oil exploration till it finishes. Wasn't developing the Agric sector and stopping importation of Rice part of GEJ's agenda, that he even matched up with actions and not mere policies? Yet this present government came in with their "I too know" and reverted that policy, and now they want to go back to it?? 1 Like |
