Soyinka is using everyone head...The guy wise die..

Typical Yoruba man....he can never declare his stand on any issue..

He has a way of ending up in the good book of every regime.. ..love this man.. .
Can the person in charge give this person a lengthy ban for this moniker.
Seun lalasticlala
@Topic: Op,why would you castigate Soyinka if someone organized a party in his honor instead of blaming the person that organized it?
Did you expect Soyinka to start asking questions as to the amount involved in the party in his honor before he attends such?
Do the maths yourself.
PoliticsRe: Re: "Biafra: It’s A Plot By Igbo To Colonise South South" – Alhaji Sagir Ringim by Karanka: 3:17pm On Jan 09, 2016
TonyeBarcanista:
@OP thank you but you are being economical here.

Firstly, let me correct something. The creation of States by Gowon in 1967 was done by fiat. It was a product of years of agitation by the ethnic nationalities of the present day SS region that started in the 1940s. In fact, save Bendel(Edo and Delta), all others have been in agitation but were ignored by the Igbo leadership in Enugu. The decree creating Rivers(especially) was a blessing to us and we remain grateful to Gowon.

Secondly, the South South zone was created by the 1994 Constitutional conference to grant a geopolitical zone to ethnic "minorities" in the Southern region. The South South is filled with distict and independent ethnic groups. No part of Igboland was sliced off.

Thirdly, SS is not a war trophy or war booty, the IPOB Biafrans or any other group should not trespass. We are capable of taking our own decision.
you're not doing your people any good.
When Igbos agitate for their own independent nation, you should know how to make your input without outright falsehood that might come biting you in the behind.
You say no part of Igboland was sliced off,yet there are obvious indigenous Igbos living in all the SS you can't just wish away.
If Igbos get their independent nation and these their kins in the SS are not joined with them,it will be the loss of people like you and your kinsmen who have been opposing it always, because other Igbos will flood your SS and dominate you due to the presence of their kins there.
Your best bet would be to propose for these indigenous Igbos in SS to be joined with the Igbos in SE.
I hope I'm clear enough.
PoliticsRe: FFK Official Statement On So-called Investigation By EFCC by Karanka:
Frankly,I support this government's fight against corruption.
These people must know that their are consequences for their actions.
You cannot steal the nation blind and expect to go scott free based on a useless technicality.
The efforts of this Government in this regard will help eradicate this culture of impunity. Even Buhari will expect that his government will be probed after his tenure.
Meanwhile,if the above report is true,I see a shaken FFK for once. Not so much of the usual high-handedness and pride that lace his comments.
Now he knows this is serious and he's explaining himself out.

Shaftrod:
I read somewhere that man is a 'Culture bearing Animal' and have often wondered whether this truism has not found its rightful place in the minds and hearts of my brothers from the SE. Or how do we explain their appreciation for everything despicable and illegal provided it's committed by one of theirs? Dasuki, Dokpesi and a host of many others were alledged to have been beneficiaries of an illicit largesse of public funds illegally authorised by Jonathan and my Igbo brothers are raising all manner of absurd excuses to justify the indecent behaviour of treasury looters. I also read that after the court's pronouncement in Abia, sacking the incumbent Governor some Igbo women took to the streets protesting that the sacked governor who fraudulently came to power be reinstated. Do we need to say more to prove that the Igbo culture acts as a direct opposite of anything honest? Where have the shame of my Igbo brothers fled to?
What is more appalling is that your tribesmen allow you to roam about completely de.ranged.

EducationRe: Someone Please Help Me Before I Kill Myself by Karanka: 10:07am On Dec 28, 2015
Brother, you've had an awful year, right, but that is not the end of the road for you.
Believe me,a lot of people have had worst situations in school as well due to one thing or the other. Some people were even expelled from school. Your case is not totally peculiar.
What you should do?
First of all, remain very strong and positive in your determination to graduate this coming year and in your visions and dreams.
List all the courses you'll have to do again and register for them. Attend lectures very very seriously,do all assignments and tests, take all your exams. Determine to come out tops.
Nothing can stop a man with positive vision and dream who is determined.
Let me tell you,do all you can ( that won't hunt you in the future) to graduate.
Forget about the shame or embarrassment that will definitely come as you go back to school - they're only temporal.
All these are lessons and experience that you'll one day share to others to encourage them, and they'll help make you a better person in what you do in future.
Some people had similar problems like yours and they abandoned their schooling because of the embarrassment and shame, and they're regretting it now. Some others endured it to the very last, and now they're better off - even proceeding further to do their post graduate.
In life,it is you and your future. No other person.
I speak from first-hand experience.
Finally,as much as possible, treat others with compassion. It has a way of speaking out for you in times of need.
Cheers.

In this your very long post, you failed to mention why you're scared of Biafra. Why are you obsessed with a people who want self determination? Why?
Is your destiny tied with theirs?
A people who have been together before the illegal amalgamation now wants their own independent nation and you're here foaming in the mouth because of it?
Mr man,what is your problem?
Is it a kind of inferiority complex or psychological problem that makes you feel you can't survive on your own?
Can't you man up for once?
Is this the kind of ideal you'll pass on to your children?
You're just a pitiable pathetic brainwashed whiny sissy who doesn't know what he wants.
One day,a kin of yours will be in the same state Nnamdi Kanu is,or your folks will agitate for something - no matter how sensible it will seem to them - and you'll definitely remember this day; that's if you're capable of retrospection.

PoliticsRe: Should A SS/ SE Person Ever Rule Nigeria Again? by Karanka: 4:02pm On Dec 20, 2015
bobbybash:
I've being thinking on this subject matter for a while now.

Before now it was acclaimed that Gen Babangida ran the most corrupt administration in the history of this country, but GEJ took him to the dust in my opinion. Babangida would think himself schooled. the different revelations popping out in the public domain on how public funds was mismanaged in recent times has got me wondering.

GEJ's time as president is supposed to be the most prosperous times (OIL PRICE WISE) in the history of this COUNTRY with crude oil selling for most of his tenure at over $120/barrel still we ended up broke.

I also understand that the First lady charged a token ($30,000) off any one that wanted to see the president. and even Alamieyeseigha was granted state pardon to show the level of impunity and abuse of power.

So i'm thinking if its public knowledge that our people from the SS/SE would do anything for money should we give them another opportunity in the near future to rule again, KNOWING STEALING IS NOT CORRUPTION
Your problem is illiteracy.

abduljabbar4:
Please take your time and check. Christians suffered less than 5/100 of Boko Haram attacks. Im sure the christians that were killed between 2010 and 2015 are not up to 500
This your analogy is wrong.
How can you say that Boko haram rarely attack christians?
What you should be checking is not the number of christians that have been killed by Boko haram, knowing fully well that the North where Boko Haram operate is majorly populated by Muslims.
You should be checking the number of Christians that have been directly targeted by Boko Haram.
In all fairness,Boko Haram started out mainly attacking Christians, but later included muslims in their attacks.
Don't say that Boko Haram rarely attack Christians;that is wrong.
Just a quick question to clarify this issue for you: if let's say,Boko Haram sees an easy Christian target and also sees a muslim easy target, which of them do you think Boko Haram will attack first?

Nonsense!

None of them protested the killing of Nigerian soldiers by the Islamic sect, Boko Haram.
The way you guys turn reasoning upside down marvels me...
What is your point here?
Are you saying that it was ok for the NA to kill those guys?
Or that their members abroad shouldn't protest over the killings to demand for justice?
Are they members of Boko haram sect?
How did you manage to relate this with boko haram?

PoliticsRe: What Has Dokpesi Done Wrong? by Karanka:
modath:
Stop being mischievous, he knows what he did wrong, was the reason he was making preemptive apologies & trying to get into the govt's good graces..

Dokpesi worked for PDP but hot paid by the NSA, that is a CRIME. If he had been paid even 20b naira by the PDP PCO, who is tasked with such responsibility, the case would have been DOA..

Is the NSA an executive of the PDP huh

Linda Ikeji has no problem unless the fees came from NSA & it's really hush money for blackmail as it is being alleged, then she too will get served..
From what you wrote above,it's obvious Dokpesi didn't commit any crime.
Are you saying that if you do some work for APC for example, and the president directs the minister of finance to pay you for the job and you accept the payment, you've committed a crime?
The people that should be held liable if indeed a crime was committed, are Dasuki,GEJ in his capacity as the president then and as PDP leader.
Infact, all Dokpesi has to do is to show proof that the money he got was for payment of services rendered. What EFCC or DSS ought to do here is to invite Dokpesi for questioning(which I believe they've already done),retrieve the money from Dokpesi as evidence and probably make Dokpesi serve as witness in the case later on; not arrest him.
In all fairness,if what Dokpesi did is considered a crime, then Buhari who accepted vehicles from same NSA is also guilty.
Was it the responsibility of the NSA to provide vehicles for Buhari?
Was the money used for the purchase of the cars given to Buhari duly appropriated for?
Did Buhari do his due diligence by questioning the source of the funds for the purchase of the cars?
