We are not titles challengers this season no matter how you view it
Don't start this expectation and den start casting the team and manager when it doesn't materialize
I was going to say this.

They raise their expectations so high and when our guy refuse to meet up they keep lamenting.

Even Woodward doesn't think we league contenders.

Liverpool for example is a team can can go the rest of the season without defeat.
Chelsea has a way of dealing with smaller teams this season.
Tottenham and Mourinho nko?
What about Ancelotti? Guardiola?

Founders do not usually maintain high ownership of their businesses when they raise funds, their shares are diluted and some becomes mere employees of the businesses they found.

The only reason some founders are still ceo is because the investors ( board of directors) are still happy with the ceo, if things changes, the ceo can be sacked by the highest shareholders
I liked the fact that you used can.

It depends on the amount of shares you own.

They tried that with Mark but Bros had upto 68 percent shares.

I said in my quote which you quoted that I excluded Dangote and BUA because they don't understand technology. I mentioned GTBank CEO and Adenuga who have technology incorporated in their companies.

Angel investors are different from Venture capitalists . Venture capitalists will take all the shares and these young guys would be left with almost nothing. A venture capitalist must understand what he is investing in , but an angel investor could only be given assurance that what he is investing will work.

You're talking about terminologies and investment registers like they are a big thing. I'm talking about the general investment lifestyle of an average Nigerian.

Tell me the retired civil servant who lost 30 million naira to MBA forex this December understands anything about forex...

You don't need any idea to be an angel investor, you only need the will...
Even the GTB CEO you mentioned is as clueless as the others.

How would you say you won't invest in Tech startups but rather create your own instead?
That reeks of financial illiteracy.

Did you know before the acquisition Stripe invested heavily on Paystack rather than creating a Stripe branch in Nigeria.

Our elites are clueless when it's come technology. I mean why hasn't dangote created a Dangote Web Services for Africans?

It's not about speaking English . . . Years back, when I used to interview graduates for entry-level positions, I used to ask questions as basic as 'What is 10% of NGN25,000?' just to tell you how bad it was, those who floundered were in the majority. It was so rampant, that the recruitment people were always stunned at how many people they dropped off without even asking tough questions - just basic 'what is a 5% of NGN14,000'. If you don't like Babalola, would you at least listen to Soyinka . . .

One thing about this kind of question is that we don't ever get to hear the candidates side of the story.

Did you know that in your organization, if we were to set a cheap IQ test for all the staff, a lot of you would fail.

Do you remember when Nigerian legislators couldn't recite the national anthem.

Or is Buhari who claimed Nigerian youths are lazy that couldn't pronounce COVID-19.

Exactly what the man is saying. A true rounded education is knowing a little bit about everything and not knowing ALOT about one specific thing.

Nigerians tend to know alot about a specific discipline and not much else.
Why don't you tell me the little you know about physics and electronics, aeronautic engineering, fluid mechanics, scrum, functional and object oriented programming.

Why do you think professors, doctors, lawyers specialize?

You're being dishonest with yourself and dancing to the man's tune.

You're only appealing to power in this case.

We have graduates who do not know the place and import of prepositions in grammar; graduates who do not know the use of adjectives and adverbs; graduates who do not know the place of agreement of nouns and number; graduates who do not know the import of adjectival and adverbial clauses
So if I know all these then I'm educated?

Lol what is this undecided
English proficiency isn't education. It is just one out of many languages.
If you aren't a journalist, editor or English language
This is where so many Nigerians miss it.

Albert Einstein once said, if you judge a fish by its inability to climb a tree it'll spend its entire life thinking its stupid... Or something along that line.

Afe is obviously an English professor but I'm sure if you take him out of his area of concentration to a field such as Fluid Mechanics or Medicine he'll develop instant headache.

If fluent English is the yardstick for literacy then why do we have dumb people that speak fluent English?
