dominique: It depends on how many semesters you have left. If you still have up to four semesters sessions, it is achievable but if its just one or two, I doubt if it will be possible Fixed! OP, it depends on your school parolz. In my alma mater, once you have an F in a particular Course and on the long run end up with a CGPA from 4.5-5.0, you ain't getting a First class. Period! You can still make it. All you need is to keep making comfortable 2.1 and 1.1 results until the end. #Jisie ike |

It is the simple ability to read, write and speak english fluently and the ability to do simple arithmetic. Most graduates simply cannot Excuse me Sir, what's your basis for judging/tagging them unemployable? Personality wise or Academic wise? If I am employed into your firm simply because I can speak and write all the English in this world, judging from what you wrote up there, and I lack the basic efficiency(ies)/skills to carry out my duty as an employee, am I employable? #JustAsking |

adipemcanis1: My opinion.
2.Our universities do not teach you how to be a problem solver. For instance...back in the 1980's...a car factory in the USA that was about to be closed because of high running costs....reached out to the local university's department of economics to help them solve their cost problems. Students and lecturers joined hands to develop a plan to sort out the problem. Now... which Nigerian economics department can come and do the same for a Nigerian factory.(None of them). @ Bolded, How many companies/factories have come to these Nigerian Economics departments to source for economics related assistance? None. So your point here is baseless. |

Paddy mii's, my friend asked me a question which I feel is best to ask here. Jazmiynne, please see
She asks, "If u are offered a job u won't know the salary until u are paid, and u will be on 3 weeks probation without salary, will u accept?" She said it's a pharmaceutical company (Reagan Remedies Limited with Oyibo people).
•No Interview was conducted •No job position (they'll be transferred to the factory since they read Microbiology) •She gave them her letter and they never cared to read it •Was asked to resume immediately
A close source said the firm is a big one and that her cozin did her IT with them (with the cozin saying d firm is okay).

tolusan: Well, anybody can claim any amount that catches their fancy. Courts do not award those amounts that you see them throw around in the news. It is at the absolute discretion of the court to award whatever amount it deems fit. In most cases, they get a few millions, if at all. The exception is in cases where the court awards what we call 'special damages' in which case the plaintiff, you're correct in that regard, would have to prove his entitlement to every Kobo claimed. The court can also award punitive damages in deserving cases; the sole aim of which is to punish or deter the unfortunate defendant. This kind of damages is usually awarded against large corporations. Thanks a lot. ksstroud: Ahah, Bro you got a coy to sue... I want to sue some coys too oooo, e.g Yahoo and Google I want to o.. Hello Tolusan,
How are you doing? Hope work is progressing s planned/wished? Please, I have an inquiry to make and I deemed it fit that you (or any other person, Adeaks and co) will be in the best position to help out. I've read a lot (online) about people claiming to sue companies, persons, agencies, etc. for a certain amount for one wrong or the other done to them and I ask, are these monies redeemed to the 'plaintiffs' (if that's what they are called) or something else is done? Example is the Rickey Tarfa's sue of EFCC & MTN for 5bn for whatever reasons and the J.J. Omojuwa's (Twitter Orubebe) sue of someone for 400million (I know he's envious of the Linda mansion) for death threats.
PS: why would someone charge such an amount of money for such cases? |

amicable09: Hahahaha. You are right Karl, I said it once in a thread where the OP was advertising for teenagers to apply for domestic staff in somebody's house to clean madam's room and all, I spoke out, frowning at such advert. The child who should be in school will now be reduced to such ridiculous job offer which of course is tantamount to child abuse.
Anyway, whatever this OP here wants to employ cheap labor for, he should go ahead if he gets applicants. It's the faulty system we are in. GoldenDr: They careless about. The situation is so pathetic o.. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Is Purgatory In The Bible? by karleone(m): 7:45pm On Feb 21, 2016 |
orisa37: Purgatory is a word often used by Roman Catholics to mean a state we all are before the application of extreme unction. The Sacrament of Extreme Unction is totally different from the Teaching of Purgatory in that, the former is administered in life but the latter takes place after life (for those who fortunately and unfortunately have a feel/taste of it). Sacrament of Extreme unction is administered by the Priest to a dying/sick person whose case is critical, though it's adviceable to call on the Priest whenever we fall ill; while Purgatory is a place where souls go to mourn for a time, after death, on account of their sins (unpaid for). |

SamJed: Here is what the bible says... It is appointed unto man once to die and after that judgement...Note the bolded...if you appoint someone for something you can reverse it for a reason...this explains why i believe most stories of people going to hell and heaven and coming back(not all are true though)...this also explains why one can be pronounced dead by doctors but after prayers by true children of God, the person will wake up...because it is appointed and not fixed... but for purgatory it is a pure lie...firstly there is no place in the bible where the word is mentioned...secondly the bible made it clear that if you receive Christ you will be saved and if you don't you are condemned...thirdly if the passage that says after death, judgement is anything to go by then purgatory is a pure lie...if there is supposed to be a clause like purgatory, it would have been included...the passage would have been "it is appointed unto man once to die, then a possible atonement while dead, then judgement. Summary of everything i have said is that their is nothing like purgatory...it is not biblical... Uncle, you quickly bolded the "appointed" and gave your meaning of the appointed without sighting the ONCE there. I wouldn't want to delve into the Purgatory talk simply because it will result to an unending 'argument' but I'll want you to note that, the understanding we give to scriptural verses differ a lot (just like you defined your appointed). The Catholic Church in her wisdom has its belief in Purgatory and its benefit to a Christian soul (though it doesn't wish all to desire for such a place) and has every right to hold unto it. You either choose to play by her teachings or focus on your faith. It's a two way thing. But, on a lighter note, if we start following our religious beliefs on scripture (which I know most 'churches' do) then we'll start doubting most of them because, my Bible (Vulgate) has no place where it wrote "Rapture" as a word but you believe in it (because you feel some verses illustrates it). Now, visiting the Lk Xii. 47-48; 58-59, you'll find a parable was told by Christ to his Apostles about... (Go and read it). Remember, parables are earthly stories with heavenly meanings. With this (definition of Parables) you can say that he (the servant) was to pay for his wrongs (sins) before being accepted to the fold. The same is of the case of Purgatory which is a place of purgation for one's sins (forgiven but need be paid for); because it is written that "NOTHING UNCLEAN (IMPERFECT) will see GOD". How then do we justify those who fall within the state of Perfection but are denied by a spot of imperfection? Remember, our God is a God of Mercy and Justice. |
