You dig the starter base for the staircase reinforcement and cast the base with concrete.
The depth and width are specified in the staircase section of the structural drawings of any building.

You provide for the starter bar of the stair (which also serves as the support reinforcement for stair other than cantilever and spiral stair) At the DPC level or ground floor slab level or ground floor level for stair carrying a very high load. here is a picture to help buttress my point better

From your attached picture, we can deduce the german floor is reinforced. What about a german floor that is not reinforced, how do we place the staircase starter bars?

You won't learn anything tangible and the few things managed to learn, you will forget it quicker than you learnt it. The best way to learn Ms Excel is on the job training and personal training.

Excel class trainings are overrated.

Seconded the bolded. Paid some money, sometime this year for Excel class. I ended learning what I knew prior to the class. Gained something from the class though. To many questions and class holding in one day made the excel class unsuccessful.
I've learnt a lot on the job - our job requires use of excel on a daily basis. I just wish I could become an Excel guru some day.

Earlier this week, Our new District Head reshuffled everyone in the district, I am now to work with an Architect (senior colleague) that I don't really like.
I hope we don't have issues while working together cos he can be so annoying (you know all these oversabi and I know it all people) .

You should see this as a challenge to being able to work with anyone you come accross. Most times, it is unhealthy to bear 'office grudge' (it's in quote) cos it somehow reduces our performance. You can admire a positive quality of this colleague of yours. With that, your dislike for him/her fades away.

We all should allow DPR do their thing.
We applied in Oct/Nov for this job, forgot about it. DPR did their thing and called us in July. Let us allow them do their thing and call us when it's due. No need putting pressure on yourself.

If instructions or invigilators say 'Ensure to SUBMIT' allotting 10secs frm the allowed time to submit isnt asking for too much now oo jare.

Probably sef if some of them had been submitting they would have stopped writing aptitude tests by now.
