podosci: You dig the starter base for the staircase reinforcement and cast the base with concrete. The depth and width are specified in the staircase section of the structural drawings of any building. the picture below from our Enugu site is an example Thanks a lot. |

abdulwastecx: You provide for the starter bar of the stair (which also serves as the support reinforcement for stair other than cantilever and spiral stair) At the DPC level or ground floor slab level or ground floor level for stair carrying a very high load. here is a picture to help buttress my point better From your attached picture, we can deduce the german floor is reinforced. What about a german floor that is not reinforced, how do we place the staircase starter bars? |

LastMumu: Not my intention to douse your interest but a one-day training on excel data analysis is most likely a waste of money, except it is free. You won't learn anything tangible and the few things managed to learn, you will forget it quicker than you learnt it. The best way to learn Ms Excel is on the job training and personal training.
Excel class trainings are overrated.
Seconded the bolded. Paid some money, sometime this year for Excel class. I ended learning what I knew prior to the class. Gained something from the class though. To many questions and class holding in one day made the excel class unsuccessful. I've learnt a lot on the job - our job requires use of excel on a daily basis. I just wish I could become an Excel guru some day. |

Oliran: At times, I feel joining Civil service immediately after NYSC isn't cool, right from school I have always wished to practice my profession and be very good at it, I feel I don't have enough experience yet, I always admire Vibrant and experienced Engineers, I really want to be good at what I do. #thinkingoutloud# It is well, my dear. Just find those Engineers who have side jobs they do and relate with often. You can pitch your desires to them. Who knows, they might be of great help. I'd really love to work in the Civil service. Had a little experience there when i served. |

Oliran: We lost a colleague yesterday, though she's not in my district but she was a friend, indeed this live is vanity. Sorry for the loss. RIP to the dead. About today, I was in the office throughout today, had to finish outstanding revenue report and weekly report. I wasn't really in good mood cos of the demise of my colleague. it is well, my dear. Earlier this week, Our new District Head reshuffled everyone in the district, I am now to work with an Architect (senior colleague) that I don't really like. I hope we don't have issues while working together cos he can be so annoying (you know all these oversabi and I know it all people) . You should see this as a challenge to being able to work with anyone you come accross. Most times, it is unhealthy to bear 'office grudge' (it's in quote) cos it somehow reduces our performance. You can admire a positive quality of this colleague of yours. With that, your dislike for him/her fades away. |

joxxy01: If the Algeria vs zambia game does not involve either of the teams taking maximum points in both 2 legs (6.point) Then Nigeria just need to win the 2nd leg and qualify. We cant qualify yet even if we have 12point..the outcome of the other matches will be the decider If Zambia's match tomorrow end in a draw and Nigeria get the maximum 3 points away to Cameroon, they will qualify. |

Please let us fill here with important updates that will help us know when we will start to chop chop oil money. We all should allow DPR do their thing. We applied in Oct/Nov for this job, forgot about it. DPR did their thing and called us in July. Let us allow them do their thing and call us when it's due. No need putting pressure on yourself. |

whiteangels: Kpakam!!! Next time one writes an exam, its best to just read the instructions and be attentive to the details.
If instructions or invigilators say 'Ensure to SUBMIT' allotting 10secs frm the allowed time to submit isnt asking for too much now oo jare.
Probably sef if some of them had been submitting they would have stopped writing aptitude tests by now. I'll see where your submission will take you to. Las las, sense will fall on you. #Next |

Ogoscco: My dear, let's end all these talk ,exam is over but do you knw u would have made it if ur test were well submitted in NIBSS. Note: from today once u enter any exam, first read the instructions. That s why so many are making mistakes, let's stop assuming. Hahahahaha.. I laff in Swahili.. So because I didn't submit, I didn't make it. Your reasoning beats my imagination. Lemme inform you that NIBSS asked us not to submit after writing. Please keep your daft thinking to yourself and focus on your interview invite. |

You're relating CBT to PBT! Whether you submit your or not, your score is calculated. Some time in March, I went for a Fidelity bank test. Instruction was to submit once you're done. I was still writing when my 59minutes elapsed and the computer submitted my page and scored me there and then without me clicking the submit button. Similar thing happened when we wrote NIBSS tests. We were asked not to submit when we're done. Remember, the submit button was there on the page. So you see, it's not compulsory to click submit when writing tests of such. They programmers know that not all will be able to finish before time, reason why its programmed to submit automatically. |
