When PDP maduka lost out I was shock thinking it's a free ride for soludo then APGA do this

Truly the south east is not in any way better than the southwest/tinubu they castigate neither is the Southwest any better than the North they castigate

Btw, during “segregation” (racism still exists, so don’t get your latter reference), black people were publicly lynched, denied to right to use public facilities or accommodations, and the right to vote, and confined to inferior segregated public schools (in that respect, not much has changed). Segregation was NOT the nirvana that you seem to have been falsely fed, and when black businesses thrived (as in Tulsa’s so-called Black Wall Street), there were ruthlessly put down (physically or commercially). Meanwhile, the black family unit has largely been destroyed by the warehousing of black males in the prison industrial complex, many for crimes that are substantively treated as little more than mischief when those involved are not people of color (or the anomaly of punishing crack possession and distribution much heavier than cocaine possession and distribution - even though the former is a diluted/cheaper derivative of the latter).

Anyway, the irony in many of these ill-informed (frankly bordering on ignorant) discourse of African-Americans by many Africans is that Africans in the US (whether immigrant or the most recent generations born there) are BENEFITING from literally the Blood Sweat and Tears of African-Americans, suffered not only through the often brutally-suppressed civil rights movements but up to the most recent comprehensive immigration reform (I believe of 1986, during the administration of Ronald Reagan, before many of us on Nairaland were even born), when African-Americans vigorously campaigned for a change in the immigration policy based solely on blood relationships to one that promotes diversity - leading to the Diversity Visa Lottery under which so many Nigerians/Africans were able to emigrate to the US, and have subsequently brought along their relatives as well as spurn their own American progeny.
