My dear since I hardly put my gender in my profile, when I first joined the forum despite the obvious female moniker, many assumed I was male and when my gender was made known, there were men I had debated in the past that would say things like "I don't have time for this woman" or I had no clue you were a woman or please find your fellow women and all that crap.
Like women were some 2nd rated beings and so were not expected to say anything intelligent
Not surprised. Heard it all before.

Dafidi sef is guilty of stuff like "what are you going in poltics, is Romance full" angry

And when you see Nigerian males married or dating western women they are totally different compared to those married to their fellow Nigerians because they are forced to comply with what is acceptable to a westerner.

my dear women also pay alimony when they earn more than their husbands.
Americal laws are fair
*true true.

to the last sentence, Jessica simpson is the one paying alimony to her ex.

That is the mindset of an average Nigerian male
what happened?

Is Naija police woman not gonna answer to male commissioner?

davidylan:
That is a failure of the justice system not a problem with culture.
Just like corruption here will land Blagojevich in prison but move Achike Udenwa to the post of minister . . . we have plenty of laws but no one enforces them. Shld we always blame culture?
both go hand in hand in naija

can women be kicked outta homes for not having males kids in western countries, etc

davidylan:
There is gender inequality everywhere . . .
True but unlike Naija if proven, it can get you into serious trouble

Take the whole bosses firing female employees for not sleeping with them. In Naija, it's whatever. Here, it's a huge lawsuit

The best thing about Tropic Thunder is the fake trailer featuring Robert Downey Jr and Tobey Maguire. Ben Stiller is hit or miss: he was hilarious in Zoolander, Duplex was a looooong yawn.

@Karma
What's Clerks about? I haven't heard about it. I love a good comedy. Who made it?
`

I liked Tropic Thunder for the most part. lol, the best fake trailer was Robert Downy's own as a priest. His eyes were freaking creepy.

Clerks is by Kevin Smith. The only one of his movies that I can still watch and laugh really hard. The dialogue is ridiculously amusing. It's about friends that work at a convience store. Get it :p

Hey did you find Curse Of the Golden Flower b.t.w?

Ew.
Knocked Up and 40-year old virgin I've seen, ane they aren't my kind of comedy. Too vulgar. I don't mind vulgarity if the movie's really funny, like Scary Movie 1, but those aren't all that funny.
Ditto. Cant stand his movies.

Clerks is kinda vulgar but bloody hilarious. Knocked Up/SuperBad, all that crap is for dorks.

something like this. I'm happy with it. dEfinitely. Which ever one you get MAKE SURE it has turn by turn directions as in it says the names of the streets and stuff not "turn in 800 ft" kind nonsense. check the battery life too.

never leave it in the car. My coworker lives in NJ and someone broke in his car and stole his. everything else was left alone.

the  original poster never said she was pregnant,it was some other contributor that brought up pregnancy
This is her second thread about this actually and in the other one she mentioned being a couple of months pregnant.  I used the wrong quote. The mods deleted that one I think.

Have a problem with Reading Comprehension? Of course you do being a retard and all

FamilyRe: Why Do Kids Hate Their Step Parents? by KarmaMod(f): 1:51am On Dec 09, 2008
@kamabod,
can you say because some men are insensitive, then every man is insensitive? That is a fallacy over overgeneralisation. We tend to look at the society one where an individual would represent the whole community.
wetin be karmabod?  oajunim tin ba mu e

and did I say Every Man?  huh What I said is that compared to most men, women tend to care more on whether their kids like their new potential partner/try to get the new dude and the kids together.

You know it's true esp in Naija.
FamilyRe: I Maltreated My Wife: Now She Wants To Leave Me by KarmaMod(f): 1:37am On Dec 09, 2008
But why do you thing she told you her past before getting married to you?
I think she did dt Just in case if something like this happen so won't be caught unaware (Abi don' t you think so ?) and once you agree to proceed in your marring her it mean you are ready to cope and bear whatever the outcome of her past is with her. So why are you backsliding? why looking back at the time she needs you most? Have you forgotten "Its for better for worse, for , ?"
Yep

a lesson for the married ones, do not hide anything from your patner.
In the first page, he stated that His wife told him about everything before they even got married and he still went ahead with it so technically his behavior was very unwarranted.
