PoliticsRe: Protesters Defy Soilders At Ojota Picture Inside by karpentar: 12:57pm On Jan 16, 2012
May God protect and preserve them all and may God touch the soldiers hearts as well as guide the actions of the protesters. Lagosians never relent when fighting for their rights anyway.

Hope GEJ will understand that the issue transcends oil subsidy removal and politics. We need institutional changes and a REAL and SUSTAINED war against CORRUPTION. The 1.3trillion stolen funds in the name of subsidy in 9 months is enough to give people the courage to stand up for what is right.
You need institutional changes, war against corruption,, etc. So you stay on the streets till those changes take place? Deceivers, who are sure of their salaries no matter what and are busy confusing other people who are not so lucky.
PoliticsRe: Why Is Eastern Nigeria Silent On Fuel Subsidy Removal? by karpentar: 8:46pm On Jan 13, 2012
They are the cowardly sychophants

Its in their genes
It's quite interesting to will classify Ibos as cowardly. Is anybody fooled? I doubt it. The real cowards are well known.
PoliticsRe: Why Is Eastern Nigeria Silent On Fuel Subsidy Removal? by karpentar: 8:40pm On Jan 13, 2012
I have always told my igbo brothers that we should know our battle. Good to know they are beginning heed. No one is our friend in Nigeria and we know that.

Nigeria will definitely separate and we will know who got the brains and controls commerce and industries in Nigeria which is the backbone of the economy and not your PHUCKING oil. For your information, we got oil in the East that can serve us well.

Palm wine drinking SS have joined the wagon of their Hausa and Yoruba saboteurs. Ingrates who can't fathom that without Igbo's, Goodluck wouldn't have been elected. In fact, Igbos are victims of the mayhem in the North because we overwhelming backed Goodluck. Yoruba's and Hausa's and very envy of that. Why do you think Tunde bakare is on front of the protest. He is doing his Masters bidding. BUHARI.

Pray for GEJ to live until 2015( I don't wish him bad but his enemies are after him) because your "allies" are plotting his downfall and won't hesitate to put him six feet under the ground if need be like they did Saro-wiwa. And guess what? WE WON'T INTERVENE. We will ONLY fight for our own interest HENCEFORTH.

Ingrate. Go back to the creeks where you belong. Don't tell me South South is not the most underdeveloped region in Nigeria upon your oil and the fact that your receive the largest allocation. We are not part of the Nigerian project.

GET IT OR YOU ALL CAN GOOOOOOOOOOOOO AND HANG.
GBAM and well said!!!!
PoliticsRe: Why Is Eastern Nigeria Silent On Fuel Subsidy Removal? by karpentar: 8:37pm On Jan 13, 2012
Well said everything I co-sign

Why is it that the Igbo man is always the saboteur and voice of oppresion

IBB- CHukwumerije,

Abacha - Daniel kanu and Ofonagoro

OBJ- Frank Nweke
With so much hatred for the Ibos, one would think that the rest of the country will be very happy to see them secede. Yet that's not the case. Why? Very baffling.
PoliticsRe: Why Is Eastern Nigeria Silent On Fuel Subsidy Removal? by karpentar: 8:29pm On Jan 13, 2012
Why you non-Igbos are surprised about this is beyond me, the Igbos are by nature a greedy, avaricious lot who see in every situation an opportunity to make money even at the expense of their own flesh and blood (they are dying like flies in the North, yet their kin in Wuse Market were screaming that they like subsidy removal). The reasons being adduced for not joining the strike are so ridiculous, its beyond laughable.
I assure you that even if a million Igbos die in the North, a million will take their place because the alternative is to go die slow, painful, poverty-stricken deaths in the landlocked sh**hole called Igbo land. The marketers who have been selling above 65 naira, are they not Igbo people?
They think they will get the presidency in 2015 if they boot lick, bend over and know tow to GEJ, how pathetic. If GEJ doesn't contest in 2015, its going back to the North.
They claim they are a "republican" or "egalitarian" society. The truth is it's a case of every man for himself. That is why they steal, cheat, connive and even murder so they can get enough money to marry many wives, build big mansions in the village, throw lavish parties and buy chieftaincy titles and knighthoods. Kidnapping, armed robbery, prostitution are 10x worse in the S/E than anywhere else in Nigeria, if in doubt do the following three things:
(1) Go to the East via night bus.
(2) Enter any big town especially Aba and Onitsha after 6pm.
(3) Visit Owerri in the evening on any given day especially weekends.
Nigerian roads are bad generally but S/E roads are death traps, yet every Igbo man of means grades (and in some cases tars) only the road that leads to his own house. Their roads have been washed away by erosion, yet go to any village and you would be amazed at the types of empty mansions you see.
The truth is their place is dead, look at all their traditional rulers, most of them stay in Lagos, Abuja, PH, Asaba, etc. Eze. Festus Odimegwu, the former Nigerian Breweries C.E.O is the traditional ruler of his community in Imo, yet he still stays full time in Parkview Estate, Ikoyi and runs his business, FE Group of Companies, all based in Lagos. Amb. Arthur Mbanefo is the Odu III of Onitsha, also still resides full time at Ikoyi. Same goes for Prof. Laz Ekwueme who is a traditional ruler in Oko, Anambra but still stays at Yaba. This is because they know that they are rulers over barren wastelands.
The average Igbo farmer spends 3 times what other farmers across Nigeria spends on fertilizer yet the only thing that grows is cassava (and yellow garri is still cheaper in Lagos than anywhere else in Igboland). They think we in the Niger-Delta will go with them if they secede and dash them our oil, how I laugh at their stupidity!!!!!
Has anyone ever wondered why successive bad governments use Igbos as mouthpieces? Its because they always have a price; Abacha had Daniel Kanu, Obj had Odimegwu leading The 3rd Term agenda as well as Frank Nweke Jnr., now GEJ has nitwits like Worgu, Okonjo-Iweala, Anyim and Co. Of course we all remember Arthur Nzeribe (A.B.N) and Uche Chukwumerije under IBB. Look at N.N.P.C, various Hausa, Yoruba and South-South boys have entered that place and cleaned out yet they all used and are still using Levi Ajuonuma as spokesperson.
Have you ever wondered why in eight years of the senate's presidency under the S/E zone, they had Enwerem, Okadigbo, Wabara, Anyim and Nnamani. In five years under North-Central zone, only one: David Mark, Its because they have sold, are still selling and will always sell their own mothers for a plate of porridge.
The whole of Imo has less than 3 functioning industries(government or private) yet they are always quick to shout marginalization. When one of their few shining stars: Alex Ekwueme stood to contest in 1998 and 2002, Igbo people like Orji Kalu, Achike Udenwa, Jim Nwobodo under cut him because he didn't share money.
Abeg the Igbos or "Biafrans" as they call themselves should do and leave the rest of us alone, all they are good for is to act as middle men in the sale of fake Asian products (thank God all these foreign companies are already setting up shop in Naija) and supply girls as wives.
You're really having fun hating Ibos. Enjoy your orgasm, but am sure when the going gets tough, you'll chicken out as usual. Cowards.
PoliticsRe: Why Is Eastern Nigeria Silent On Fuel Subsidy Removal? by karpentar: 7:18pm On Jan 13, 2012
1) South east don't believe in riots, they engage in more bravery act of outright fighting or war.
2) They are not interested in a failed project called Nigeria.
3) They won't venture into any project involving betraying yorubas.
4) Need I say more?
PoliticsRe: Why Is Eastern Nigeria Silent On Fuel Subsidy Removal? by karpentar: 7:10pm On Jan 13, 2012
South east is not interested in Nigeria. Period!!!!!!!!!!!
PoliticsRe: GEJ Summons Fashola And Amaechi To Abuja Over Protest? by karpentar: 7:36pm On Jan 12, 2012
Dude, it takes real stup!dity to protest something you claim to believe in. Its not that you're 3 years old either.
So, please accept the conclusion I've reached and stop bitching about it.

Scarab.
Don't mind them. When a source of major corruption is identified, it should be blocked immediately. I don't know how the timing can be wrong.
PoliticsRe: GEJ Summons Fashola And Amaechi To Abuja Over Protest? by karpentar: 7:27pm On Jan 12, 2012
Come Beaf, I want to ask you a question, Do you think Abacha is still in power or do you need us to explain democracy for you?

Nobody has said subsidy removal is not a good thing but the timing. More so, Economics and leadership are not thesame! no matter how excellent your idea is, you have to explain it and the benefits in understandable formats to the ordinary citizens and that can be seen in charisma of Obama and his likes; how he touts and campaigns for his ideas for proper understanding b4 implementation but here, we have a pot bellied president who prefers to force down his ideas on ordinary Nigerians rather than explain. that is never leadership, thats called dictatorship. Leadership is never complete without followership. leadership is by consent not by force. you win the hearts of many when you can communicate and convince your people of your vision, that's leadership, the other side of it is dictatorship.
My friend shut up. Good luck is not pot bellied.
PoliticsRe: GEJ Summons Fashola And Amaechi To Abuja Over Protest? by karpentar: 7:13pm On Jan 12, 2012
The whole country apart from the Igbo states and balysea protested so shut it. The only ethnic bigots here are you people
Leave Ibos alone. They are not keen about a failed state called nigeria. I don't know how long it'll take you to realize this obvious fact.
PoliticsRe: GEJ Summons Fashola And Amaechi To Abuja Over Protest? by karpentar: 7:04pm On Jan 12, 2012
I feel pity for the igbos. . . They are saboteurs. . . Always is and they are the most trodden in naija!
If they are saboteurs as you claim, don't you think it's because they learnt from history, never to trust yorubas, who, through awolowo, sabotaged their deserved secession from useless Nigeria? I don't and won't blame them.
PoliticsRe: GEJ Summons Fashola And Amaechi To Abuja Over Protest? by karpentar: 6:51pm On Jan 12, 2012
bigots like u needs to be gunned down and thrown into the bar beach.

Must an ediot like u tribalise the subject?

Ibo pple will never allow Nigeria move forward hence u will never test power in Nigeria
You that tested power, are you better off? Useless statement.
PoliticsRe: Pro-fuel Subsidy Removal Rally In Anambra by karpentar: 11:34am On Jan 11, 2012
These people don't understand anything. They want to produce president by all means in 2015 thinking GEJ will be so important in that regard. The rest of the country is watching them and we are patiently waiting. No amount of blindfolds and charade of calumnies could right the wrong. Removing the fuel subsidy while corruption in government is at peak is wrong.
Ibo haters again. There were also pro subsidy removal rallies in Abuja. Why is that not on nairaland? The hatred for Ibos will continue to stress all your heart beyond its elastic limit.
PoliticsRe: Occupy Nigeria: Pictures Of Protest At World Bank Hq,Washington DC, Us by karpentar: 10:38am On Jan 10, 2012
@ karpenter - did gej met an empty treasury? u are a serious joke and lousy pro jonathan wannabe mouthpiece. beaf would have tried better.
You can insult till tomorrow, it doesn't mean a thing. The question remains, where were you when past leaders emptied Nigerian treasury? Did you occupy anywhere? Why? I even hear that Babangida has also join the strike.
PoliticsRe: Occupy Nigeria: Pictures Of Protest At World Bank Hq,Washington DC, Us by karpentar: 9:55am On Jan 10, 2012
Useless jobless people. Where were they when the past leaders emptied Nigerian treasury? They didn't protest then. Why now? Hypocrites!!!!

I strongly suspect that some sections of Nigeria have sworn that Goodluck will never know peace for taking their "ruling birth right". That's what all these are all about. But they should know that if Goodluck is forcefully removed from power, that's the end of what is called Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Will Jonathan Reverse The Fuel Price To =n= 65/litre? by karpentar: 9:45am On Jan 10, 2012
Never and if he reverts to the N65/litre, then Goodluck will be a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. SUBSIDY WITH THE ASSOCIATED CORRUPTION MUST GO.
PoliticsRe: Fuel Subsidy Protests In The South East by karpentar: 9:36am On Jan 10, 2012
More or less like a Village sqare gathering! Show me real mad buh peacèful protest comprised of both young and old!
My friend, what's your point? You see pictures of people carrying placards and protesting and you are still doubtful? Those pictures are they different from the ones from elsewhere? Must anything concerning Ibos always be an issue that gives other Nigerians a lot of headache? In case you are not aware, please note that the Ibos are more concerned with their kinsmen being murdered by bloody Boko haram in the North. And more importantly, Ibos are not very keen about this failed state called Nigeria. You must believe with me that if somebody is tired of a marriage and wants to opt out, I wonder why he or she must be forced to stay in the marriage? That's what the rest of the country are doing to the Ibos. Go ahead with your strikes and leave the Ibos alone.

Your insults are expected and means nothing.
PoliticsRe: So Is The Protest A Success Or A Failure? by karpentar: 8:19am On Jan 10, 2012
It's a total failure. Corrupt NLC and TUC leaders should get ready to refund the bribe money they collected from N1.3trillion strong corrupt marketers.
PoliticsRe: Strike: Count Us Out –south-east Traders by karpentar: 8:08am On Jan 10, 2012
lmao

What else is new with these do anything for money people ?

We know they can not sacrifice 1 kobo for their own future and a better Nigeria.

Money comes before country and people.
People who fought injustice for three years can not sacrifice? Your anti Ibo stance is blocking all your memories. Moreover, while should they join a selfish labour strike that is induced by bribery from N1.3trillion strong corrupt marketers?
PoliticsRe: I Didn't Say "The Poor Don't Get It" - Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala by karpentar: 5:48pm On Jan 09, 2012
That's so rude of her!
How is she rude? Deep inside most of you, the hatred for this woman is not unconnected to where she comes from. I wonder why Sanusi who also supports the elimination of  fuel subsidy is not receiving same level of bashing? Tribalists!!! Fuel subsidy breeds corruption and I will lose all respect for Goodluck if he cracks under pressure and brings back this useless subsidy that is enriching only very few.
PoliticsRe: Fuel Price Vs. Minimum Wage In Opec Countries Inc. Nigeria by karpentar: 12:38pm On Jan 06, 2012
Misinformation! The minimum wages listed above are misleading, even though I agree that it is tough for the masses to cope with the current price of pms in Nigeria.
I think I have the same opinion with you. It's not sufficient matching up just minimum wages across countries. The comparison should also embrace costs of products and services. For instance, whilst I can barb my hair to any style at N150 in naija, elsewhere like in UK, it's not less than £5 (about 250x5=N1250). Also, a premium lager such as Asahi, costs about £4 (N1000) in London, whereas, popular brands in naija are between N200-N250. Again, spacious three bedroom flats boasting of two en suite bathrooms in UK go as high as £1000 (N250000) per week translating to N13million in a year. That's much much much higher than flat rents in naija. There are so many other examples, so, you really have to put things in context to make sense. If you do, you just might realize that a minimum wager in naija may perhaps be better off.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Newcastle Vs Manchester United (3 - 0) On 4th January 2012 by karpentar: 1:51pm On Jan 04, 2012
It’s a match Manu must be aided to win by biased English referees, particularly given that ManC surged ahead yesterday after overpowering another English favoured club –Liverpool. The apparent unfairness displayed by not just the officials but also the FA responsible for match fixtures, makes mockery of the overhyped English league. In the xmas and new year fixtures, could you imagine that City and Chelsea have to play two league games in two days whilst ManU was given 3 days rest between fixtures. Is that Fair? It’s such a shame. I can’t wait for German League and LaLiga to recommence make I watch betta matches abeg.
PoliticsRe: Why Are There No Subsidy Protests In The SE/SS Oil Producing States? by karpentar: 1:17pm On Jan 04, 2012
There is a big problem of hypocrisy in the country.
Your choice of the words, rent seekers, would have been apt as a title. It is really puzzling that people are ready to overlook the leprousy in their immediate sorroundings to seek rent from Abuja. You would think that their governors and LG chairmen who are suppossed to provide grassroots development and employment were elected as decorations whose only job is to get free oil money from Abuja. How can Nigeria ever develop with such attitudes?
I have impatiently waited to spot a plain and concise reply to Beaf’s key query. “Why are there no protests in opposition to evident crooked state governors and LG chairmen”? It’s pathetic that everyone on this debate is intentionally disregarding this known fact. It can only lead me to conclude that these protests are hypocritical with the sole aim to undermine GEJ government. It reminds me of Boko Haram. The long ruling class of Hausa-Fulani-Yoruba and its uninformed remonstrating citizens are yet to come to terms with the fact that Abuja top sit has eluded them. Too bad! The fuel subsidy with the associated corruption must go. I will be totally disappointed if GEJ cracks under pressure and rescinds this laudable subsidy removal. This is about the best Government economic policy so far from any Nigerian president since independence.

Oya, start your abuses.
