Chief, ur write up is a bit contradictory. First of all N5.9m cannot set up an LPG plant. No! Not in this Nigeria. Have u considered the cost of land for the plant? That alone will gulp close to N20-30m depending on ur location. Of course LPG plants are usually located in cities, not villages. And going by DPR's pre-approval inspection,the plant site must be 4plots of land (400m away from main roads and no obstruction of power lines ROW). Except u r talking of roadside LPG cylinder-retailers and that does not require N5.9m to start-up. A DPR standard plant that turns out an average of 1000 cylinders (12.5kg) goes for N15m except u r talking of the latest China-made make-shift plants which costs N9m. I'm in the process of building a plant in Port Hrcourt so I know what I'm talking about

They lost on the infrastructure, bribery scheme and choice of candidate.

When it dawned on them that they'd made a collosal mistake, they resurrected Biafra to make demands that they should have made from GEJ prior to the elections. And again, they lost. GEJ is Ijaw. But ndi Igbo want to claim him more than GEJ wants to claim to be Igbo. Why? All I can do is just stand aside and watch a whole tribe make mockery of themselves. Strategic borrowing to finance critical infrastructure like power, transport, works, railways etc and vital social services like education and healthcare will positively impact on inclusive growth and economic development. Ekiti State, it's people and their eccentric governor are classic paradox. The people believe that their state is poor and they don't need any other infrastructure except stomach infrastructure. Their cracked-head Governor believes that governance is show-biz, comedy and deception. The citizens love the eccentric governor for his demented posturing. Now, this is a state with comparative advantages in Minerals, Agriculture and tourism which if properly harness by a cerebral and result-oriented government, will turn the state into the mineral and agribusiness hub of Africa. But the citizens prefers and celebrate mediocrity, underdevelopment, backwardness and poverty. Thus, Fayose style of short-changing and deceiving them is the best form of governance. Imagine northern states like Jigawa,Yobe, Borno,Adamawa etc that have been ravaged by Boko haram still able to generate higher revenue than Ekiti that has close proximity to Lagos and can benefit from adjacent opportunities flowing from places like Lagos, Ondo, Oyo etc. Presently, the drugged- governor personally collects taxes and pockets same!
