Hi guys, I don’t know if this is the right section for this post, I’m sorry if it isn’t.

Please guys, there’s this project I’m working on and I am in urgent need for someone who knows and is willing to teach a group of young people how to make reusable sanitary pads. Location is Delta state.

If there’s any interested person please indicate so we can negotiate on the pay.

Exactly, don’t start what you can’t finish. I am also a serving corps member, one Saturday morning, my boss, who was almost boarding a vehicle on his way home for the weekend, out of nowhere asked me to come get his office key so I can pick his lab coat and wash for him.

Now that didn’t go down well with me at all, as there’s a dry cleaning section in that establishment plus he was going home to his family so I wondered why he didn’t take the lab coat along for his wife or children to wash. Besides I know humans, once I indulge him, it will become an every weekend business. So I simply ignored him. My colleagues were not even having it.

The next Monday at work, he brought out the lab coat and he’s like; I wanted you to take my labcoat and wash for me over the weekend, he held it out in his hands probably expecting I’ll go take it from him. I just stood rooted where I was while giving him this ‘there’s no way I’m taking that from you sir’ look. It became an awkward silent kinda situation and I guess he got the memo and so took his labcoat back into his office.

Even though I respect him as my superior, I also very well know my job description and it doesn’t include washing anybody’s labcoat. Who knows, next time he might request me to come wash dishes at his house.

If you are being told lies about pathologist being superstar in the UK, na lie. In the first instance Biomedical Scientist and Doctors don't have any reason to brush because they are both allowed to get to the climax of their profession without hindrance unlike the way doctors go about trying to stop other professionals here. We have Consultants that are Biomedical Scientist, Nurses, Physiotherapist and Pharmacist in the UK. Anyone with the right requisite education can train to become Clinical Scientist otherwise called Pathologist. It is not an exclusive preserve of any health professional. Doctors in the UK are very civil and respects their biomedical colleagues, I have had course to interact with them and found them to be a clear departure from the bossy ones we have here.

My radiographer friends who have relocated to the UK tell me they are put in their place over there. They cant touch the doctors there. The doctors are on a whole different stratosphere.

This heading is so wrong, lab scientist didn't beat anyone. they only staged a peaceful demonstration but doctors would always do wrong and go free.
You prevent a medical lab sci students on posting from entering the lab but allow medicine and surgery students into the same lab to receive lectures, so the lab scientists don't pay fees and other charges or what? While scientist went on protest the doctors locked themselves in and vandalized hospital properties but because no video was made of these act the med lab scientist is labelled the tout.
A doctor hits a med lab student a girl for that matter and yet the med lab scientist is the tout, a doctor breaks bottle and destroy chair, yet they do no wrong.

In the medical community everyone has a well described role to play. In a situation where a doctor leaves the ward and come to the lab to run calls and carryout analysis that a scientist is meant to do then I don't know anymore.

People and their superstitious beliefs shaa....there's totally nothing diabolic or irresponsible about wearing a waist chain. I use it myself to check when am gaining or losing weight.
