Just on general principles the 2 clubs one should avoid getting into such a debate with are Barca and Madrid. Some people think football started in 2004.

Kaka: (190+166)/621 = 0.57 goal contributions per game.

Having a superior goal contribution despite playing 50+ more games is quite commendable.

But that’s not the main reason I rate KDB higher. He influences games way more than Kaka. Kaka played with better teams but delivered less. Imagine kDB was the one playing alongside Ororo, Alonso, Marcello and co.

You talk am before I thought you'll go and do some research but you still talk am again. It depends on what you want here. FIFA world player of the year was more prestigious in the past than Balondor.

However, if you so insist on the balondor stuff, yes Barca strikers have won it and also finish as runners up in the past. I think you're too young to remember players like.

1. Stoichkov (winner 1994 Balondor), RUNNER UP FIFA world player of the year 1992 &1994.

2. Rivaldo (winner 1999 Balondor/FIFA world player of the year)

3. Romario (winner 1994 FIFA world player of the year)

Stoickhov was a striker, Rivaldo was a striker/Attacking midfielder and Romario was a striker/second striker depending on the opposition.

They all won/ finish as runners up playing for FC Barcelona as forwards/strikers!
