I can relate to this mama. I did the arm implant (implanon) three months after the birth of my baby, and instead of adding weight because I seriously want to add up, I noticed that I am losing weight instead. When I complained to my doctor, she said body differs.

Yes there is this fairness or glow it gives, there was a time I was living my baby with my mum , I did it for over 1 week and 1 day I realized my baby was looking bright and fair so I asked what they were rubbing on her and I was told it is ude aki, the oil isn't mixed with anything because I prepared it myself before delivery. So yes it makes babies bright especially on the face

Don't give your baby any drugs if she/he is not sick, don't feed drugs to a healthy baby. Cs is painful so give it more time.
Please give baby water to avoid constipation.
Please no tieing of tommy for now

Ikorodu genaral hospital give the rota vaccine on their immunization days. It is not free though, 8500 as at 2 months ago

Take that baby to the hospital immediately. That he/she didn't have jaundice at birth doesn't mean jaundice can't develop anytime. Jaundice can cause disabilities sometimes

Thanks.. we have been to the hospital already and a repeat test showed that the first test wasn't correct, the doctors were shocked at the figures and sent us for a repeat test, we will be back to the hospital on Monday for another test.. thanks a lot

We just did another jundice test and this is what was gotten. I'm confused because the hospital we went to said baby doesn't look like the figures gotten, they asked us to wait 1 more week and repeat the test.
We will be going to the hospital tomorrow but I would love to hear from mothers who have experienced this with their LO's

This is the same with us, my baby girl is also 4weeks old and her eyes are yellow, a jundice test was done after her birth and the paediatrician said there was no jundice. What else could be the cause?

My birth story is a very short one, this pregnancy came when I thought I was done with child bearing, oh the look of happiness on my husband's face while I was disappointed with myself, well I decided that what has happened has happened, then followed with series of scans, hospital visits ( I am a high bp patient), always treating maleria and all of that. Pregnancy advanced and I registered with General hospital ikorodu and Holy trinity hospital ikeja. At exactly 34 weeks I went for antenatal at the general hospital and was admitted for high bp and protein in urine +++, on the 5th day o suddenly felt a gush of water pour on my laps, I showed the nurse and she asked me to wear a pad so they can be sure of the quantity, the next morning the doctor came and saw it and that was my journey to emergency CS, they said waiting could be dangerous.i was wheeled to the theatre and out came my 34 weeks 6days old baby showing her crying skills... Only God can perform this miracle.
