Christianity Etc › Re: But That's The Old Testament by Kay17: 6:39pm On Sep 24, 2010
All I could draw was an unhealthy attempt to justify evil. On the same grounds of despising Hitler, I also despise the fantasy god.

Christianity Etc › Re: Are Athiest The Most Intelligent People? ? by Kay17: 2:37pm On Sep 24, 2010
Purist:
Nope.  Atheists are not the most intelligent people, because atheism itself only mirrors the irrational certitude of religion.  More so, many atheists base their lack of belief in a deity solely on the flaws of various religions, which I believe is a faulty premise.  The fact that there are weird/inhumane stories in the Bible or outright nonsense in the Quran is no reason to entirely dismiss the possibility of the existence of a god.  A god is no exclusive preserve of any religion. If there is any such thing as "the most intelligent people", I think only agnostics (weak agnostics specifically) qualify to be labelled as such. cool
I think agnostics make a half-hearted response, though allowed reason to convince them, still keep the vestiges of religion within them. God exists in religion only and he is more or less imagined. Stepping out of religion (whatever it is) god ceases to exist.

The inherent flaws in Christianity and Islam point to their discredit.

We ve seen this before, some plastic art of a mermaid with evolutionary features, rather than Raphaelite depictions.

This is how myths are created.

King james translation of the bible is considered the greatest piece of literatue in English.its language supposedly epresent the ultimate in using the King English.Well Shakespeare  language and the Bibles Language are on and the same. They sayy that from 1604 to 1611 King james got poets to translate,to write the Bible Well if Shakespeare existed  he was then the top poet around,But Shakesspeare is no where reported connected with the Bible. If he exsisted, why didnt King james use him? And if he did use him,why is it one of the orld best kept secrets?
King James was Brillant and the greatest king ho ever sat on the British throne.Who else among royalty,in his time, would have had the giant talent to write Shakespeare works? It was he who poetically FIXED the BIBLE -which in itself and it present King James version has enslaved the world.

If it is about demonizing Christianity, Islam has its crimes like every religion. There was Trans Sahara Slave Trade, and those damaging campaigns in the Sudan in the 19 th century by Muslim leaders of Egypt.

Malcolm X was just a confused nigga, failing to realise that the racism he preached against was nevertheless, tacitly based by Islam. Africans already have their destructive religions.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do People Die And What Happens After Death ? by Kay17: 5:31pm On Sep 22, 2010
Religion rears its ugly head once more with the acute lack of rationality. We all are on this earth, neither of us has visited the afterlife, and have no experience of thereafter, but a prima facie view is that man would cease to exist, since the means to project life has being lost. So life expires generally. The manner a plant or an animal dies, is likewise that of man.

If there is a contrary view for afterlife, then how can it be verified? Not that we dwell in arbitrary speculation.

Christianity Etc › Re: Was The Trinity Doctrine Invented At A Council Meeting Or By The RCC? by Kay17: 1:51pm On Sep 22, 2010
The Trinity, of course lacks rational cohesion; I do not understand the hierarchy involved. Are the entities/one, equal? Therefore the Godhead is not more than important the other two.
Christianity Etc › Re: What Is A God? by Kay17: 1:46pm On Sep 22, 2010
Shouldn't benelovence be an essential ingredient for a God, since his existence is one of comfort and hope.

Speaking on a theological level, the distinction between good and evil would be artifical, since they do not threaten his existence.

Negro feeding us with lies. Its amazing how you draw comparism between Biblical history and reality. The Bible, like the Koran, Vedas and their sorts; didn't drop from Heaven, they were written and accepted by men! The particular books that comprise of the Bible, were not canonized by angels, but men. That would explain why the Catholic prefer a different bible from the Protestant bible, why the Ethiopian bible is different from the earlier two. Why the Eastern Orthodox Church uses an entirely different bible, not to speak of the Greek and Russian Orthodox churches,

The Bible has created a fantastic history for itself. Hardly collaborates with external sources, in short a frozen cultural folklore. Its senseless insulting people for criticizing the folly you put on your head!
