If Chelsea lose this, then they're definitely in for the Europa League next season. grin

I hope it ends in a draw.

I know it's natural. You can laugh by reflex but putting it in post makes the person involved feel bad and depressed @ an already depressing moment.

Somethin to chew on
52% (13/25) of #Arsenal's PL goals have been scored by @persie_official. Second highest contribution? 8/17 (47%) by Demba Ba for #Newcastle.

This stat is a bit worrying! Theo and Gerv better lace their boots
Yeah, its a bit worrisome but some people here are going to make jokes about how R.VanPee is or isn't a striker, midfielder, defender and goal keeper @ d same time.

We don't know if the others are going to step up to goal-scoring responsibilities in his absence.

Good game anyway, the weekend started off on a positive note.

Now off to the stadium for some tailgating and a game of American rugby football.  cheesy cheesy

Adolite i can't stop laughing regarding your interview.

VO: Something like why not in your home country?

ME: My dad always tell me US is d world best and that i will acquire the best qualitative education that will befit my major.

grin grin grin grin grin

Guy please you shouldn't have put this on the thread even though you say this at the interview

To me all you answer are just erroneous to be specific. You should have chat with someone in tha house before going for the interview.
seedord247:
Ohhh . .sorry Ma bi nu . . . I thought you were the one.

I was amazed because i was not expecting this kind of poo
from you.

Wishing you best of luck.

I think it will be better for you not to post anything at all than to laugh @ someone who you should be giving tips and advice.

Hello guys
I can see u all re doing a nice job here,God help all of us.
Pls sombody experiences enough should help me with this questions.
I applied to a single sch a̶̲̥̅̊nd̶̲̥̅̊ i was send my addmision,d problem is VO usually ask how many sch did u apply for a̶̲̥̅̊nd̶̲̥̅̊. Reply 3 or 4.wat do i do say d truth i applied to a sch alone or lie?
My statement of acct hav #3m is it enough to carry as my act statement or i should top d acct
Pls sombody reply me
For some strange reason, VOs see multiple applications as a sign of seriousness so you have to tell them you applied to more than one school and you only came with the admission letter of the one you intend to attend.

If you have admission already you dont have to waste your money applying again. Just look for other schools that offer the same course and tell the VO you applied to those too and then think of a convincing reason for the question that is like to follow: Why you chose the current one over the others. It could be : still awaiting admission decision, better prof to student ratio, better facilities (have to be careful about this though), relevance of school location to your course of study (if it applies), you have a host of possible answers you can supply.
Travel › Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by KayDee4: 6:39pm On Nov 19, 2011
I don't think you prepared well before the interview because your answers to the basic questions you could anticipate weren't well crafted at all.

Keeptryin:
VO: Why do u want to study in usa?
ME: I want to study in usa to acquire quality education.

VO: Something like why not in your home country?
These questions simply ask the same thing and in summary, means "How is the US educational system better than here in Nigeria?" When you think of strikes, laboratory and research facilities, etc etc, I'm sure you can come up with millions of "brilliant" answers on that.

Keeptryin:
ME: My dad always tell me US is d world best and that i will acquire the best qualitative education that will befit my major.

VO: Why this school.
ME: I choose this school, because i made a check list about d school i wanted,  First, a non-profit school, an affordable school to my spousor which is my father, a school with QUALITY FACILITIES THAT WILL ENHANCE THE PRACTICAL STUDY THAT BEFIT  MY MAJOR.
You should show personal academic ambition and not come across like someone being forced off to school by your dad.

You know what course you want to study, you know what you want to do with it after graduation, you know the various schools offering  the course and it is not compulsory you're attending the number 1 school in that course. All you have to do is go to the departmental website and read about the department, they always have something (a departmental achievement) to boast about, put that in your answer and tell the VO a beautiful story about how it inspired you.

Keeptryin:
VO: Have u travel out this country before?
ME: No sir, because i don't have any reason to until now.
classy013:
I am so sorry to hear that. I think you were denied visa today based on the fact that you've never traveled out before. The interview was okay. If you wish, you may travel out first before you go for another interview.
Contrary to your opinion, you DON'T need to have travelled out before to be issued a US visa, and the interview wasn't okay for an F1 candidate.

Rubbish !!! angry angry

Imagine the British Government telling the US to clean up the BP deep-water horizon oil spill.

The Nigerian government put itself in this position in the first place by not ensuring strict compliance to exploration regulations and in some cases, the same old, same old - bribery.  cry cry  Sometimes, the village chiefs even collect compensation (into personal pockets) for oil spills to the detriment of the environment. Everything in naija is just complicated and dysfunctional.  undecided undecided
