All of a sudden Santi is horrible?Dude was reportedly sickly before the game.

That said,Coq's ability in tight space has immensely improved.

chuckdee4:

Bellerin is fitter than Debuchy at the moment, Debuchy was struggling towards the end of that game due to match fitness, so its a no brainer to start Bellerin
Ramsey looked outta sorts yesterday, Coquelin's place in the team is not even debatable.
Gabriel v Per, whoever can hold Benteke should get the nod, my head says Gabriel but who knows.
As for Schezney, I think he should be sold come the end of the season, though the goal was not all his fault his cockiness is his greatest enemy, dude needs to put his head down and work on improving

Ramsey actually didn't look out of sort.Wenger's persistence in playing wide against a team sitting deep and waiting for the odd counter, did him in.

That said, has Wenger ever defended any trophy successfully before? As in including his sojourn in Japan

Trite argument.Rain, tax, elampiro's love for Rooney and Dayo's disdain for anything EPL related.I see this morphing into 3 Lions' argument soon as he hits a brick wall with the EPL one.

Same time next year, different thread, repeats the same thing over and over.Sighs!

Dayo,
Where do you watch Budensliga please?

Matchday!

Will be a miracle to get a point the way Chelsea are playing vis-à-vis our team.

My prayer is we come out of this unschathed, injury wise.

Wenger is a masochist I think. All these talk about financial power and we couldn't sign a CB, that isn't even a luxury buy, it's actually a needful one.

God save us from Sanogo's dad
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by kaypumpin2(m): 8:07pm On Aug 23, 2014
Funpeter: People are saying if lose against besiktas which I know it won't happen that we won't be playing in the Europa league. How true is this?
Trick question??
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by kaypumpin2(m): 8:03pm On Aug 23, 2014
ochukoccna: Ozil played from the left flank for Germany at the World Cup na!
Or have you forgotten?

And how effective and efficient was that?

Pataki:
Sometimes I just don't understand Wenger. He made a number of tactical errors today which should never ever happen when playing a team like Everton.
We were simply lucky tonight and Ozil has no business starting from the flanks.
Like keeping Wilshere on for more than hour when he could have been taken off and Ozil drafted to the centre.Sometimes I do feel he is a masochist.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by kaypumpin2(m): 7:36pm On Aug 23, 2014
Miraculous how we got a point off that shambolic and laboured performance.Every single player looked off pace like they a crazy night at a stag do.

I am a but confused too, if we didn't get Cesc back because we have Ozil for his position, why shunt the same lad to the flank?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by kaypumpin2(m): 5:14am On Jul 24, 2014
Any nairalander making to the match in Jersey on Saturday. Will be cool to have a drink after the match.Making my way up from Atlanta.

Walcott may just never be the player he was.Such a God-awful injury for him to have.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by kaypumpin2(m): 3:23am On Jan 07, 2014
Sincerely though, what's Bayern to do? It's not like Lewadoski was rail-roaded into a contract, neither was Goetze.Plus, which player worth his onion wouldn't want to be part of the Bayern project now??
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by kaypumpin2(m): 11:04pm On Dec 23, 2013
We didn't go for it.We all know Walcott is never going to be useful when a team packs the bus a la Chelsea. He should have been subbed for Santi while Rozzi should have been subbed for Bendtner with few mins to go.

Two tricky away ties coming up,let's hope we can go back to winning ways.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by kaypumpin2(m): 8:27pm On Dec 23, 2013
What will Mata do to have a starting spot in this team?

Willian?Really?

ozil would have come to us - the same ozil that has lifted arsenal's dead spirit.
The Ozil effect is over-rated.Arsenal's game has been raised since that loss to the Spuds.Just look at our run as the season ends the last term.

That said,Moyes' team always start badly and eventually come good,so fingers crossed.

to the nakëd eye, this is very correct.......but there's a logical argument that actually proves rooney himself is the reason we are not ticking. couldn't this just be the ruud syndrome?

many thought united were crazy to let van nistelrooy go. ruud scored about 25 goals per season(easily our best player) but the football quality itself was dire. he left & united started beating teams up & down....

the outcome? 3 back to back PL titles plus a CL title to boot!!!

But we saw the team without Rooney against Newcastle, same dire performance.

Rooney is not the problem of this present team, the problems run deeper.Starting from the gaffer's lack of knowledge of his first eleven and what tactics to employ.

PS:This Mandela tributes give me goose pimples all the time.I never knew how highly held he is till now.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by kaypumpin2(m): 7:50pm On Dec 10, 2013
This forum is the only Manchester United's fandom where Rooney is castigated.Talk about untainted vindictiveness.

Truth is,the whole team is pants now and Rooney's so called gragra is the only bright spot for now.

I am not saying Jekinson is a ready article but i laugh when people berate him.At some point last season,in some quarters, the belief was rife that Jekinson is ready to take over from Sagna.

What i am saying? The dude only make mistakes when he's been left on the bench for a while. He gets better with each game he plays.

I want to see both Ozil and Ramsey benched though. Those two can do with a breather.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by kaypumpin2(m): 7:06pm On Dec 08, 2013
2 points dropped as far as I'm concerned.

debosky: Blimey this Moyes dude is even more clueless than I thought. He said he would've taken RVP off, but if he did people would've said what are you doing. cheesy

So now his subs are based on what people say not what is needed to change the game? cheesy

It's gonna be a fun ride. grin

I was shocked when i heard that.No coach, not even a youth coach should utter such crap.

Pataki: Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, speaking to Sky Sports: "I don't feel comfortable enough to tell you what I think about the game. We're in trouble."

Typical Mou,always way too "dramatic" after a defeat.

Oga you create the luck if the luck is not coming your way.

A team of players that has won it all and won the league 11points clear last season, suddenly become shitty this season.

If you are the investigator, where will be your first point of call.

DM should thank his stars that, Utd is not Chelsea.

Everything that's happened so far is an indicator to how great a coach Fergie is.Period.Even when the team was blazing last season, astute observers noticed the team was creaking.Plus Persie's goals papered over the crack.

It's always going to be difficult for Moyes to leave his mark on a Unites team that has been under the tutelage of god for almost 27 years.

Is Moyes making mistakes?Yes,like every coach does.

unfortunately, the players are the assets, not the manager. you cannot sack a squad of 30 players for a manager, you can only sack the manager for the players. the marriage is not working - the decision makers at old trafford must act now or lose out in the lucrative money-spinning champions league next season.

chelsea sacked ancelotti, di matteo, benitez, scolari, etc and they weren't this bad - so the assets can't be gotten rid off. it's the hapless manager that has to leave. his 6 years contract isn't up to what we pay RVP in a year & he's unfit to manage big players. get rid now before the virus eats deeper into the bones. the longer we leave it, the more difficult it would be to recover from the sickness.

Tearing things apart doesn't mean "sacking" all the players. All he needsis his own players becoming the nucleus of the team.

You and i know Moyes WILL NOT BE SACKED.That's not the United way.We may continue to blame Moyes, but some of the players have been hell-awful this season.Evra a prime example.

Plus this team need a bit of luck too,i can not remember how many times they struck the bar in the last 2 games.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by kaypumpin2(m): 3:50pm On Dec 07, 2013
Newcastle scored and Pardew didn't prepare to lock things up in the middle.Matter of fact,he brought in Ameobi when Cabaye was injured.Sums it all up what opposition manager/team thinks of United now.

This team lacks confidence and you can tell from the players' body language even when they were a goal down.No urgency shown by any of the lad.

Moyes may have to break things down and tear the team apart,as apparently these present set of player are not playing for him.

One of the most professional performance from us thus far this season.Assured, unshaken and clinical.

This is the month we are supposed to collapse but we didn't.Credit to that back five especially Scz who's grown in leap and bound.

Hull City next!

elampiro: Ref Lee Probert allowed play for 6 mins instead of 4 mins added time, and eventually gave Chelsea an undeserved penalty.

In what game did Lee Probert officiate today? It's why i asked you if you do bags the last time.Oh and bags is weed.Or maybe you pop molly.
