It's about the person of Peter Obi, not Igbo this or anti-Yoruba that. For most of the other Igbo aspirants that lost out at both APC and PDP primaries, we care less. Most of them don't deserve my respect. Peter Obi is a rare gem. He just happens to be Igbo, and that shouldn't add to or remove from my respect for good character.

Do well to google the application of state of emergency. Here in Nigeria, we're more familiar with it as using mopol to restrict movement in the night and all. But it's also used to manage disasters like flood. And from Obi's recommendation, the FG should both manage this current situation well (not abandon the victims) and also adopt preventive measures (global best practices) to avert future recurrence. And that's not counseling you should get for free

He'll genuinely work for the good of the masses, and that's why most politicians are against him. The things he says tells you he has fallen out with the hijackers of our democracy (if he was ever in their good books before now). They won't support him except the few that mean well for our dear country. The only encouragement Peter Obi needs now is your support. Let's be his structure. He needs us to be able to help us, for a better Nigeria.

Yes, Peter Obi was in PDP. But think he was only there in search of political partnership believing he could influence them positively for a better Nigeria.

If you ask me, the truest test of character is when a person had freehand to steal but refuses to. As a governor, he could easily have gotten away with it.

Such a person in the midst of thieves in PDP does not automatically make him a criminal. It's possible he upheld his anticorruption principles all through his time there, which explains why he also dumped them. His story is much better than that of Atiku who left PDP to APC, and is now back to PDP which obviously hasn't changed since he left
