Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Should Primary School Education Be Added To A CV? by Kazrem(m): 1:38am On Aug 23, 2015 |
living2013: It all depend on your latest qualification or the job you are applying for. If you are a BSc holder or have related qualification, then primary school cert is irrelevant except in a case where it is recommended.
The most relevant certificates on a cv are the two most recent qualification. BSc or its equivalent and 0 level certificate is enough for a graduate.

Family › Re: ''What Should I Do? My Child Steals From Everyone'' by Kazrem(m): 9:33pm On Aug 18, 2015 |
Aminat508: How do you react when you have a young child that steals? You've talked to him/her several times, told him/her everything that has to be said about the consequences of pilfering. You do ALL you can to provide his needs and wants. But he keeps 'doing it'. How do you help or stop such a child? A reader sent this in yesterday:
Hello,
My son steals from me, my husband, my mother, his grandparents, his friends, everybody!! Please, let's discuss this here because I'm sure I'm not the only mother having this problem. If it's not money, it's things as small as tiny toys and games from neighbors. Sincerely, it's gotten so bad I don't know what to do with him anymore. My husband and I now have locks on our bedroom door to keep him out.
Problem started when he was 11 and got into boarding school. He is 13 now. I've threatened him that next time he steals, I would have the police involved. Of course I don't want to or plan to do that but I don't know what else to do.
Source :http://www..com/talk/topic,250835.0.html 1. You should not have allowed him to go boarding since he started before going. I understand you might think he will stop if he boards but most children adopts habits they didn't do at home in boarding house and aggravate the ones they did at home in boarding. 2. I advice you go spiritual. Consult your pastor or imam. Since he only steals items and a combination of money and items his case is peculiar, thus I suggest you go spiritual. Mind you, I hope none of the parents was also a kleptomania during teenager. The habit inherited by child from parent is more impacting than thought. |
Romance › Re: A Married Man Keeps Paying Money Into My Account by Kazrem(m): 8:53pm On Aug 18, 2015 |
auntysimbiat: I'm a 20 years old girl and a student in one of the tertiary institutions. Earlier this year, I met this guy online. He kept disturbing me that he wanted to see me that I ended up deciding to meet him. When I saw him, I could tell from every inch that he was married.
After the meeting, he called me later. I then used that opportunity to ask him whether he was married. He denied it outrightly. We still kept in touch but I never wanted to meet him again because he looked a lot more older than me.
So, there was this time I had an accommodation problem in school and he decided to help me out. Initially, I turned down the help but after much deliberation, I decided to send him my account details. He later paid money into my account. It got to a point that I was having this strong instinct that he is really married that I decided to search for him on Facebook although I didn't know his surname.
Luckily, I found him and guess what, I found out that not only is he married, but he has two kids. I sent the pictures I saw to him and warned him never to call me. He has since refused to stop and the worst part of it is that he now pays money into my account on regular basis.
I know the money goes a long way in helping me in school but I want him to stop because I know it's not right. He has also refused to stop calling me even after I have threatened him. I don't know what else to do because this situation is really troubling me.
