Anambra1stSon2:I was grading him with the likes of NGIGE AND OBIANO achievement within a year but based on your comment about him being slow and steady maybe I should downgrade my expectation to that of Mbadinuju so that I can agree he is trying. Mind you I supported him in my community during the election. |
Anambra1stSon2:It didn’t “go on” in NGIGE,OBI and OBIANO. It is now in soludo’s time that things are now “going on”. Your defense for the poor governance we experience around Dunukofia, onitsha ogidi and it’s environment is not enough. Talk to the governor since you are working for him as online warrior to come and show his presence in our zone. It is not only in orumba projects should be done |
Anambra1stSon2:You are the ignorant one. At least you should go and validate all I have mentioned and get it to the attention of the governor. But instead you choose to start insults. Be careful with your words . The fact you have been paid to launder his image does not mean we should all turn a blind eye to what we feel is not right. |
majesticguy:He inherited them in good shape and other administrations didn’t have any problem maintaining it so why should it now be a gradual process in maintaining a major road? If we continue this gradual process, the rate of road damaging will be higher than the rate of repair and we would eventually be back to mbadinuju. I personally thought he will maintain status quo at least. |
Truth be told. Soludo did not meet my expectation . I was in anambra last month heading to Dunukofia. The road around building material market that links limca road has returned to its state during mbadiunju time. Portholes have started appearing from old bridge head to upper iweka. These roads have been well maintained by previous administrations but I am surprised he is doing nothing to maintain old roads . |
I am sure what made her lose guard so much was because her daughter was an accomplice . It seems she trusted her daughter so much. I feel sorry for her. |
AchrafHakimi:Same with me. So that the suffering they voted for will reach them very well |
A lot happens . I have exported all manner of things from Nigeria. And below are my observations : 1. Exports from nigeria are more expensive than other countries. If you try to export soyabeans, palm oil and ginger you will be discouraged by the prices the buyer gives you because there are other countries that sell cheaper . 2. Most export materials are gotten from the villages so you have to transport to a state with port. A lot of export expenses goes into road expenses( each checkpoint has a fixed amount , plus the touts on the road collecting produce tax) , 3. Community taxes also makes things expensive: you will settle king, youth , elders etc 4. If you do your export on a large scale , you will attract state and local government officials who will tax you without pity. At the end of all these the international buyer still expects your price to be same as other west African Nations . |

JagabanB:What you posted is good but I think the major problem with Nigerians producing is lack of information and technical know how. If the right information, guidance and enablement is out there, people will farm!!!. You know agriculture if not done with proper supervision will bring huge loss. |
maxtrix:Oil and gas is terrible now becasue there is no margin again due to high cost of buying . Like today diesel is bought at 1250. I am still wondering how much I will sell buy the time it arrives . You can go into gas but on a small scale with room for expansion. But don’t expect to make duplex money there o. Na just survival money wey dey there . |
Ikaeniyan0:Backup your comparison with a link because I don't think we are doing better than them. Both countries have bad economies but you said their own is worst than ours. I would need to know where you got that from. Or is it your assumption? |
Ikaeniyan0:Today our country have no reserve anymore becasue we used our reserve to borrow money and you are accusing Ghana of taking bailout . It seems you are oblivious to the state of our economy . Take time today to update yourself. |
Ikaeniyan0:I knew you will move to insults as you have nothing to say anymore. We borrow to even support our currency and you are accusing Ghana about bailout . |
Ikaeniyan0:They run to IMF we run to china , African development bank, world bank. In fact we even seek bailout to fund palliative and buy SUV’s for serving members of rep. |
arejibadz:I only said he should give link and source of his claims becasue the last time I checked companies are leaving Nigeria to Ghana. |
Ikaeniyan0:How? Give us link and statistics to justify your claim. Hope you are not referring to being the country with the highest GDP in Africa. Because that means nothing to the common man. Per capita income should be a better tool to judge an economy where people and business can thrive . |
Wainey:Sorry about the country we find ourselves . Government policy has destroyed my business so many times. From phones import till 2015 to timber and solid mineral export till 2020. And now the small oil and gas we are managing is now being targeted . |
richmond500:Who still imports toothpick? Nigeria has passed that stage a long time ago. Whatever we import now in bulk is a necessity we don’t produce in bulk . Eg wheat, milk , vehicles, mobile phone. UAE imports meat and many other things but their exchange is still strong becasue they export oil and tourism . We only need to export more . What we import is not the issue |
Wujio:I was referring to average user in Nigeria. |
How many people use 20k data? Average is between 2k to 5k monthly . |
BoldBrainz:It requires just 185 more to get there which can happen in a day. Let's see what happens this week. |
If this news is true eh the economy is about to collapse.if it gets to 2k per dollar by December 31 then it can easily reach 5k per dollar next year as there is no reserve to defend the currency. That means: 1. tokunbo cars will be replaced with Nigerian used cars 2. Importation of raw materials will make the finished good to expensive for the poor majority to afford . Eg milk , wheat, chemicals etc 3. There will be huge job loss as companies may not realize much revenue as a result of the high cost of operation . 4. Those that buy new electronics will move to tokunbo electronics and those that buy tokunbo electronics will move to Nigerian used . 5. There will be high rate of out of school kids due to the high cost of education. 6. House rent will rise again as the cost of construction will increase thereby affecting the supply while demand for housing keep rising. 7. Japa will be difficult because ticket alone can be 5 million. Let me stop here first and wish my country the best. Tribalism finished this country . |
alamscolo:Building in lagos is now hell. Different agencies will frustrate you. LABSCA is even better, ministry of environment will come, safety will come, material test will come and many others just with the aim of finding a loop hole they can use to extort you of several thousands of Naira. The discouragement is much. |
Paraman:are you insinuating there will be massive increase? Or maybe you are misquoting me . Take time to read my comments . I have two likely options that will happen |
Paraman:This is not the first time they deny . They also denied at 488. The reality on ground is that Nnpc is low in the old stock and the current market situation will either prompt them to increase price or FG will subsidize . You can see diesel is 1050. Petrol should be at least 750. But they have been maintains 580 becasue of old stock and now the old stock has run down which leaves them with the two options above |
Paraman:whatever they are paying is about to increase or they pass the increased cost to us. Either way. |
Paraman:The issue is not having dollar. They have to use the current exchange rate and crude oil rate to calculate landing cost. I am expecting a price increase unless fg secretly decide to go back to subsidy in order not to provoke labour union . |
Paraman:It’s not as you think. All depot owners have been buying from NNPC since subsidy removal. Mobil, total, MRS etc all buy from NNPC. The current issue in the industry right now is that the cost price and the selling price is almost same thing. They expect you to buy 577 and sell 580. Thansport is not included. Maybe they want people to adjust their meter so that instead of 1 liter you will be given 80cl. As a result of this very low margin many stations are fussed to shut down. The news I was hearing last week is that NNPC does not have enough because they cannot restock cos of exchange rate . Let us see how next week plays out . |
Since our net reserve is below $4 billion and we have borrowed $3billion to defend the Naira I think the worst is yet to come. If mistakenly the oil price slides again we should all be prepared for 2000 to $1. I pray we don’t get there. Let God almighty intervene . |
That was when competence was the main criteria and not tribe. Today different groups will start counting how many Igbo’s are in the team |
Anambra doesn't start from Dunukifia and end in Ogidi, he is constructing many roads that if you are sincere to yourself you will not deny, March next year will mark Gov Soludo's administration two years it's too early for you cynical and doubtful minds
