PoliticsRe: Fuel Purchase Reduced By 50 Per Cent, Reduce Pump Price – IPMAN Begs Tinubu by kcprince: 7:05am On Jul 20, 2023
In about 6months time a lot of petrol station will close down for the following reasons :

1. Very low margin; imagine buying a product for 498 at the depot and selling it at 510. Making about 12 Naira from 498. Some bad marketers even manipulate their meter to meet up with NNPC price. While some sincere once’s put it as it is . Unfortunately the sincere ones don’t see patronage because people will say price is high.

2. Low demand ; the demand for the product has dropped by over 60 to 70 percent . You now see people come in just to buy 10liters and go. Unlike early this year when an average person buys 30liters .

3. With the high interest bank charge on loans there is no way you can service the loan with such low profit margin especially because you have running cost to Cather for .

I wish government will do something about this like opening a special forex window for petrol import . If not a lot of businesses will go down.
PoliticsRe: Fuel Price Hike: Business Operators Panic, Fear Shutdown, Job Losses by kcprince: 6:33am On Jul 20, 2023
Those that are in charge of our economy don’t know the implication of increasing cost of living without balancing it with increased salary. It is things like this that leads to recession . I won’t be surprised if we are currently in a recession.
PoliticsRe: How Developed Would Nigeria Be By 2050 by kcprince: 10:43pm On Jul 05, 2023
Nigeria has been on a downtrend line since babangida. It always seems the previous leader is better than the current .

2050 is not really too far. It will take 8 years of Tinubu, 8 years of another northerner , 8 years of another southerner before arriving during the tenure of the next northerner and I don’t see tribalism and looting stopping by then .
AutosRe: Naira Devaluation Pushes Up Vehicles Duties By 40% by kcprince: 8:17am On Jun 26, 2023
These people think you can improve the economy by taxing the people to death. They should read about other countries that tried it to know if their economy improved . Once your citizens are poor your economy is going no where but downwards.
PoliticsRe: NNPCL Pegs Ex-Depot Price At ₦479.50 Per Litre by kcprince: 9:32pm On Jun 05, 2023

LagosG:
Softly dey lie abeg. Voters (plural o) killed in Lagos on Saturday? This guy was murdered by Igbos and you know it
The video did not show their tribes on their forehead. All we saw is voters protecting themselves from being injured or killed. If the police did their job on Saturday , the thug will not be in the voting environment in the first place
PoliticsRe: Ago Palace Murder During Election by kcprince: 3:57am On Mar 20, 2023
Wasn’t he an election thug? Before you sign up for such a job you should know the consequences. These thugs stabbed , killed and wounded voters on Election Day in the presence of police.

I think they got judgement for their actions. Judgement comes in many ways .

Kay is not an Igbo name. I don’t see where Igbo’s said it. Don’t be surprised the Kay is an APC agent that decided to propagate the narrative to cause tribal tensions .

Parachoko:
Most of the things happening in Lagos won't be happening if some set of people were not shouting "Lagos is No Man's Land"
“Lagos is no man’s land” is a quote resurrected by APC to make lagos politics a tribal affair. Because I cannot see where any Igbo said such. I know during the military era it was a usual slogan but it died down years ago only to be brought back as a tool for Yorubas to shut down their brains and begin reasoning with tribalistic emotions .

InvestmentRe: Naira Crisis: A Possible Solution. Let's Discuss! by kcprince: 12:09pm On Nov 06, 2022
ElijahOnyeka:
Since there's high demand for the dollars in Nigeria with less supply which is driving our exchange rates down, what would happen if CBN issues a directive to Nigerian banks to stop accepting dollars from their customers by Jan. 31st. 2023, I think that would drive up demand for the naira as anyone with dollars in Nigeria would find a way to dispose it instead of hoarding it thereby having excess supply of dollars in the market and also a high demand for the Naira thereby driving up the naira against the dollar.
Something like this was used in 2015 and that was what started our recession. People could not pay for goods and had to go as far as swallowing money in order to travel with cash and pay for goods. EFCC seizing people’s money at the airports. In fact I was buying the cash dollar and then give it to some friends traveling to Ghana just so that they can send it into my account as foreign inflow from Ghana just to enable me make purchase.
