Politics › Re: Anambra Former Governor, Mr. Peter Obi Acquires ₦650 Million Naira Manson In Enu by Kdon2: 2:30pm On Apr 15, 2020 |
AnonPoet: The former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi has just acquired a mansion in Enugu for Six Hundred and Fifty Million Naira (₦650, 000, 000) The mansion which is located at the end of Oba Close GRA, Enugu, Enugu State, Nigeria belonged to Dr. Chu Okongwu, a former Minister of Finance under Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida as Nigeria's Head of State.
The tastefully finished property which was built by Julius Berger Plc on a very large expanse of land was acquired through Mr. Obi's Front and younger brother Mr. Josephat Ndibe Obi.
Mr. Ndibe Obi has remained his elder brother's [Mr. Peter Obi] company manager right from the period Mr. Obi came back to Anambra State to run for the office of the Governor in 2003.
When Mr Peter Obi realized that Government is the biggest Business Enterprise in Nigeria, he decided to launch an effort to bid for the Governorship of Anambra State because of the huge Security Votes available to that Office.
Mr. Peter Obi's zero trust in anyone, manifested in a well laid out plan when he withdrew his last brother, Mr Josephat Ndibe Obi from the University of Jos where he was a young first year undergraduate Student and brought him into his company and positioned him to front for him in all transactions as a proxy in case he succeeded in becoming Governor of Anambra State. Ndibe has been doing just that since his brother emerged Governor of Anambra State in 2006. Till date, Mr. Obi even while as Governor, was still dictating the affairs of NEXT International. It is evident that, no financial decision or otherwise, is taken in Next International Nigeria Limited without Mr. Peter Obi's consent.
With the Slush Funds from Security Votes and other Government sources, Mr Peter Obi using Ndibe Obi and his Next International Nigeria Ltd laundered over 150 Billion Naira of Anambra people’s money with which he built his now big business conglomerate.
He started by hauling hundreds of millions of naira in cash from Government House Awka to his Company’s Office at Apapa every month with Vehicles in his Official Convoy in the guise that the Vehicles were going to Lagos for routine servicing! Mr Ndibe will carefully launder these Cash into the Company’s Bank Accounts as coming from Cash Sales. Luck however ran out on them. Following a tip-off, the Convoy was ambushed at the premises of their Company at No 7 Aerodrome Road Apapa on Sunday 31st May, 2009.
In an Operation coordinated by the then Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr Marvel Akpoyibo, a whopping ₦250 Million Cash was intercepted in suitcases transported from Government House Awka to Mr Ndibe at their Apapa Office! It was a huge national scandal and Mr Peter Obi had to mobilize all contacts, including a retired Army Colonel to quench the fire. He spent a fortune to wriggle out of the mess.
With the Lagos axis now blocked, when the tension reduced, they relocated their collection point to Port Harcourt. His brother now started shuttling between Lagos and Port Harcourt where he started receiving the monies from the re-routed convoys at the end of every month!
Mr. Ndibe acting as a Front for Mr. Peter Obi has acquired a lot of properties across Nigeria and beyond over the years. This acquired mansion in Enugu, Enugu State, Nigeria, is his latest. This proxy approacb to property acquisitions, has remained the reason Mr. Obi had continued to deceive Nigerians and the global community of not having any property any where apart from his Residence at Niger Drive in GRA Onitsha which he claimed he built after he left as Governor in 2014.

Wilstino: Before you speculate, Experts says wearing nose mask, only helps prevent an infected person from passing the virus, it does not prevent an uninfected person from contracting it. Hence social distancing and good hygiene is being advocated. This is also the reason people are now advised to wear nose mask.
Hence, you may also look at it from the angle that Mr President is clean and doesn't want anyone meeting with him, to infect him with the virus. That's Falsehood you are peddling in some area its compulsory to wear face mask to go out at all or you ll be arrested |

Crime › Re: My Experience With The Hoodlums Terrorising Igando. by Kdon2: 11:51am On Apr 14, 2020 |
Enquires: At about 7:50pm shortly after Buhari announced the extension of the lockdown, I and my neighbours gather around a shop in front of the house to discuss the way forward, wail, and give opinions about what the president just said.
During the course of our discussion, the issue of boys terrorising lagos came up and as expected, they were reactions from everyone. Some are of the opinion that this is not as a result of hunger but just an excuse for these hoodlums to perpetrate their evil act. Jokes were flying around (our usual practice of suffering and smiling), people giving out safety tips and all, talks on how to get a cutlass for protection etc.
In the middle of this talk, a young lady came in to buy foodstuffs from the shop and overheard our discussion. She then decided to make her own contribution of how she just survived an alleged attack by some of these boys, how she scrambled for safety some few hours ago, how many were killed including a pregnant woman( at this juncture, i know all what she said were all lies). She went on and on and i could sense that fear were being created among the listener. I was angry, furious and I began to tell as many people around me not to entertain fear but be calm. Meanwhile, just as I'm talking, one of the women in the discussion claim she saw boys moving in, and this is where it all begins.
Come and see how people were running helter-skelter, some of the people that were initially boasting how fearless they are, ran like children to take cover. Panics began to set in and just like a wild fire, i witness how it spread throughout the whole street. Shops that were open, close in a twinkle of an eye without seeing the enemy in sight. In the midst of this, I was still angry. Angry, because, it was clear to me this is just another false alarm. The next thing i know, the youths gather in their numbers with cutlasses, knives, sticks chanting as one going to battle. Tyres were burnt in every junction accompany with shouts. Different weapons were brought out from boys ranging from age 12. And the peaceful atmosphere in no time, turned to a violent one. I witness first hand how people can be mistaken for robbers and be burnt alive cause, every okada rider that came into the street was virtually mobbed, innocent residents were accosted, and if not provided useful evidence was asked to sit on the floor.
I switched on my data and the next message i got were from friends, telling me how Igando is on fire, How they have being coordinated attacks within igando, how robbers have invaded Igando and killed many. I was stunned upon seeing this. Logged on to twitter and it's already trending and I'm like, is it this same Igando or another one? Is it the fire we started by ourselves? or is it not the boys that came out with their weapons to attack an unseen army?
My point is, we should stop creating unnecessary fear among ourselves. Let's stop spreading fake news, it help no one. If i should upload the "deadly" pictures and videos i took, its as if we are in a war front, imagine i post it on twitter or facebook, People who are far away would think these are the criminals not knowing they are just residents trying to protect themselves. It later dawned on me that majority of the videos circulating online were that of the residents not the hoodlums. And for the arrest that were made, assuming the policemen visited this street, almost everyone would be arrested as they were all with one deadly weapon or the other. At around 3am, I was woken up with what sounded like gun shots but unknown to me it was the young boys that visibly got angry that were banging gates of every house shouting that everybody should come out, that nobody deserve sleep since they too are not sleeping.
I'm not saying these cultist don't exist or do not attack communities. What I'm saying is, we should stop the spread of fake news, let's report it the way it is.
I appreciate every one who came out yesterday to keep watch till this morning in a bid to try to protect their communities. You guys are the best! God keep us all!! You said you were angry! What did you do this stop it. Yet you went on Watsapp, twitter probably face book and you never douse the tension you help created. |

JKisOK: Days after testing positive for coronavirus, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari, has spoken from his sickbed over his status. He disclosed this in a personal statement signed by him and made available to journalists on Sunday evening. Mr. Kyari said would be transferred from Abuja to Lagos on Sunday for further tests. "I am writing to let you know that on medical advice, I will transfer to Lagos later today for additional tests and observation. This is a precautionary measure: I feel well, but last week, I tested positive for coronavirus, the pandemic that is sweeping the world. I have followed all the protocols government has announced to self-isolate and quarantine." "I have made my own care arrangements to avoid further burdening the public health system, which faces so many pressures. Like many others that will test also positive, I have not experienced high fever or other symptoms associated with this new virus and have been working from home. I hope to be back at my desk very soon. I have a team of young, professional, knowledgeable and patriotic colleagues, whose dedication has been beyond the call of duty, who continue to work seven days a week, with no time of the day spared. We will continue to serve the President and people of Nigeria, as we have for the past five years." Mr. Kyari also thanked health workers as he advised every Nigerian to be calm and diligent. "We should be calm, measured and diligent - be meticulous in your hygiene, especially with cleaning hands, if possible stay at home or keep your distance. Listen to good advice from the proper authorities: pay no heed to quack cures or fake news from social media. President Buhari will do whatever it takes to protect the health and safety of our people and get the country back on its feet as soon as possible." "Like the whole world, we are dealing with a new disease. Our experts are learning more all the time about coronavirus, what it does and how we can combat it. What we do know is that while some may become very sick, many others who contract the virus will not, and may have no symptoms at all. This is a disease that recognises no difference between north and south, men or women, rich or poor. We are all in this together," he said. Nigeria has recorded 111 cases of COVID-19 including one death. Mr. Kyari is among several top officials who have tested positive for the disease. Others include Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna and Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi.

Paxie55: Some of you misguided Christians that always join atheist in criticising churches and pastors are really the problem we have in this country. You can hardly see muslims publicly condemning their imams, but you Christians are always on the front of criticising your pastors. Here's a picture of policemen who went to a mosque in agege to beg them to stop prayers after they attacked government officials that came to stop them. And till date, no prosecution. But y'all will seat and praise them for flogging pastors. What a shame of a nation. Thats because Christian mentality differs from muslims now. How can you compare light nd darkness. |
