Phones / Re: Fastest Dial-up Connection And Price Comparison by kechy(f): 10:57am On Mar 14, 2006
Christino:

I'd like to know the fastest dial - up connection in the country at this time, esp. Lagos. My starcomms connection is a bit faster than a snail, i want something better, but still dial-up. Please help me compare services like multilinks, intercellular, mts wireless or even nitel. Thank you. "Strictly dial-up".

If the multi links does not work out for you, you can try Internet Solutions Ltd. Their website is www.nova.net.ng. Their dial up connection is really great. They're in victoria island but you can also get their contact info from the above website.

anobscase:

So u expected the eagles to deliver that must be the joke of the century

You're saying this because they lost, if they had won, you'd have kept mum.
All the while they were winning their previous matches, you never complained.
With all the negative politics going on within the NFA, the Eagles tried, it's only a pity that they didnt go beyond the semi final.

Anyway, I wish the Ivorians good luck. I'm glad that they are doing well considering the fact that they'll represent Africa at the world cup.

after the match i was convinced that if there is a god of soccer then he was on our side that day. i am yet to see a team so uncoordinated and so flat footed. just watch cameroon then you will see the difference. all our so called big stars are just a big disappointment. we are clapping for a man who shot a ball into an empty net while the goal keeper was still arranging his wall.
You guys aint saying anything about saturday's match.
C'mon, give the guys the kudos they deserve and thank the Lord almighty for being on our side.
cheesy

Sports / Tennis Fanatics: Will The William Sisters Bounce Back? by kechy(f): 4:04pm On Jan 31, 2006
The 2006 Australian Open has come and gone, with a dismal outing from Venus and Serena.
Do you think they will ever make it to the top 5 again?

I'm a fan of theirs and I really do hope they bounce back since they were the ones that made me fall in love with the game in the first place.

What's your opinion?
Romance / Re: What does a woman wants from a man by kechy(f): 1:39pm On Jan 31, 2006
mmmn I'll speak for myself. smiley

What I want in a man is just honesty and sincerity, no beating about the bush or trying to make excuses.
It's hard to find a guy that says something and it doesn't turn out to be a mere lie.

My advice: Mean what you say, speak the truth and it shall set you free. wink

Sports / Re: Nigeria Vs Zimbabwe: Walk-Over For Super Eagles? by kechy(f): 11:03am On Jan 27, 2006
Let's not underate any team.
All in Egypt came, prepared to win.
Just like the Eagles want to win, the Zimbabweans also want to win.
Though the eagles will win the match, it may not be a walk over.
Food / Re: Coke Or Pepsi, Fanta Or Mirinda, Sprite Or 7-UP? by kechy(f): 5:46pm On Jan 26, 2006
For me it's Vanila coke. Before now, I never really liked any soft drink. I only did take them to quench my thirst.
But since vanila coke came along, VANILA COKE rules for me.

bolaoni:

I don't think collections of players win a competition. It is a team that ALWAYS win!

Fine we have a good collection of star players, but do we have a team? That is what will determine who wins at the end of the day. Considering all the matches that have been played, we are definitely not the best but I hope we improve as the competition goes on. smiley

Very well said.
They'll improve with each game they play.
However, just as we're getting used to their habitual disappointment, this time, they'll surprise everyone by winning.

Anyway, I'm willing to give the eagles a chance.
I believe in the team we have now.

Chxta:

I think we should wait until they've all played worthy opponents before judging. Watching yesterday's match between Angola and DR Congo, I felt very ashamed that Nigeria failed to make the world cup.

I sure do think Super eagles played worthy opponent in Black Stars.
As per African representatives in this year's world cup... undecided sad embarassed
Those that were supposed to qualify failed to do so; Cameroun, Senegal and Nigeria not making it... sad cry
We just have to watch Tunisia and see how they fare when the time comes.

Super Eagles go for goallllllllllsssssssssssss!
Sports / Will Nigeria Win The 2006 Nations Cup by kechy(f): 5:05pm On Jan 25, 2006
The games are heating up, Egypt is getting hotter by the day.
Everyteam wants to win the cup especially the big ones that did not qualify for the world cup including our beloved Super Eagles.
Please make your guess:
WHICH TEAM WILL EVENTUALLY COME OUT AS CHAMPIONS.
My guess is the 'SUPER EAGLES'.
Romance / Re: What Is The Best Way To Dump Someone? by kechy(f): 3:30pm On Jan 25, 2006
Birdey:

right now, I am going through a similar situation...this guy asked me out in December and I told him I'd get back to him some time soon...because I wasen't sure...so it's now january, and I don't know how to confront him about How I don't want to go out with him...so earlier today he asks me if I've decided, and I said. YES.. WHY? How the hell am I suppose to know? sad

Now i don't know how to dump this guy, because I am having serious problems. And tearing up someones pillow with a knife, stalking them, and just moving to a difeferant country isn't possible at the moment. I hate it when I get myself into these situations...and I want to give iot to him lightly, and not hurt him sad

(NOTE: I've known this guy for 4 years, and we are really good friends.)

You haven't really started dating since he only asked you out last month.
Just be open with him and tell him why you cant date him.
The reason might be that you are already dating someone else.
I'm sure he'd understand.
