Politics / Re: 30 Shoemakers From Abia Arrived China For Training (Photos) by Kechybee(f): 11:30pm On Jan 10, 2018

Good.

Investment in humans is laudable.

It is safe to semi-authoritatively say that this is Abia's first achievement of any kind under this Governor.

The Abia State Government makes the Kogi State Government, and that of Imo State look like that of Lagos State.

4th guy in the 4th picture. What's with him with the yellow socks standing on the yellow line?did not even know yellow socks exists.

See like the socks dey shine like traffic light.

You are very funny. They probably flew Ethiopian Airline from Naija to Addis Ababa to connect to China. The yellow socks was given on board Ethiopian Airline, usually in a pack containing tooth brush, tooth paste, lip balm, ear piece etc to all passengers. I flew Ethiopian Airline in December 2017 and got same pack which also had yellow socks. These long flights can be really cold, so dude had to cover his feet. Check their first pic, someone else is wearing a yellow socks squatting.

OP says the guy is doctor, the guy himself says he's a lawyer who did odd jobs during his LLM.
OP, why are you confused?

Guys read this post properly. Obinna Ebirim is a Medical Doctor, and also a 2017 YALI / Mandela Washington fellowship recipient. The Solicitor is the lady who made the comment munched below the post. Her name too appeared there. So there's nothing confusing here.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Favouritism And The Plight Of A Nigerian Unemployed: A Threat To Nations Buildin by Kechybee(f): 6:13am On Apr 11, 2013
MY RECENT EXPERIENCE WITH NSITF: I've followed NSITF's most recent recruitment which started in 2011. In april 2011 I made an application fee of N1000 into NSITF zenith bank account like every other applicant and as advertised by the management of NSITF. A confirmed code was printed immediately in the bank with which I proceeded to my house to use the internet and fill the online application. In July 2011, I wrote the aptitude test in Abuja, attended the interview in Sept 2011 in Abuja also. Much later in 2012, some pple were given employment letters but the names of succesful candidates were never published anywhere. I heard abt d appointment letters being released on nairaland and from a friend so I decided to go to NSITF hqtrs in Abuja to confirm. When I got there I was told openly that the letters were for those who had referals. I pressed further to check if I would see my name on d list. They told me again that if my name wasn't submitted by any godfather, then I was just wasting my time because d list isn't for d public. But dat if any godfather submitted my name, I shld either call him/her & collect my letter from him/her. But dat if d person hasn't received my letter then I shld wait behind. I felt like shooting everyone there cos it was so glaring that d exercise had become highly politicised. I was also told to bring a letter from any godfather if I could to speed up my recruitment and also join in d induction programme. I told myself, NIGERIA IS FINISHED. In Nov 2012, I attended a 2nd interview wit the same NSITF as part of d year long recruitment hoping things will get better and this will be an opportunity for those without godfathers. Just recently and in 2013 I heard about letters being released again hoping my letter wil be there. On March 24, 2013 I went to d same abj hqtrs, wit hop dat this was an opportunity for pple like us. Trust me, it was still d same godfather issue. Exactly what I was told in 2012 repeated itself again in 2013, which means no godfather no job. I was speechless. Pls how do we change dis wickedness in fed govt agencies/parastatals & even in d civil service. Most govt workers are dummies simply because d eligible ones are denied employment & all you see in govt offices are pple who can't write and speak, all they do is to carry files. God must surely intervene in dis country. We shld be given equal opportunity.

Family / Re: Thinking On Giving My Baby Up For Adoption. Does That Make Me A Terrible Mom? by Kechybee(f): 6:06am On Mar 27, 2013
Just go to that address that was given to ‎u. never abondon your child. If your visit to dat secretariat doesn't turn out favourble, go to UNITY ORPHANAGE HOME in Jabi, very close to that big Apostolic church. My colleagues and I once visited dat orphanage & we saw a very pretty baby girl whose mum also brought cos her boyfriend abandoned her, and the management of d place stated clearly dat d girl isn't up for adoption & dat her mum will come back for her. The ‎home was to take care of her for one year as agreed wit d baby's mum. Unity orphanage appears to be d best orphanage in Abuja, trust me. Lovely enviroment, d kids all look like ajebo & r well taken care of. Not in anyway overcrowded. God will see ‎U thru.

Phones / Re: Port-Harcourt Student Wins MTN Aeroplane!! by Kechybee(f): 6:12pm On Nov 13, 2012
D Aeroplane in question is actually called "CESSNA 182T" as stated also by MTN. The Cessna 182T Skylane is an American four-seat, single-engine, light airplane, built by Cessna of Wichita, Kansas. It has the option of adding two child seats, installed in the baggage area. It's worth about USD$398,100 to USD$410,000. The problem with Nigerians remains that we dont read and we dont pay attention to details. From the very first day I saw that advert, I noticed the name of the Aeroplane and decided to enquire more via google and other search engines. The naira equivalent of the plane is actually N64,million which is what the girl chose. We all have and use blackberry and other internet enabled devices yet we dont use them well. U guys saying N64million cant buy a plane should google and learn more about CESSNA-182T to find out how big or how small and how much it costs. It is actually smaller than a helicopter, but d fact is dat it's an aeroplane. Enough of d insults on MTN pls.

@KMOS, If there's anyone corrupt, it is SANUSI. This has absolutely nothing to do with being Hausa or Fulani or Isan. The same criminal and corrupt blood in Sanusi runs in most Hausa civil servants. U guys keep sayng Ibos like money, I'm not Ibo, but I must tell u those guys are industrious and determined whether we like it or not. Infact, I must marry IBO. Check out d Pension fraud which is on-going and see d number of ur Hausa guys involved. Be dat as it may, Sanusi must go. He is a total failure. Tell me one good thing he has done to help dis Nation's economy.

Investment / Re: Photonews: Pension Fund 'thieves' Arraigned In Abuja by Kechybee(f): 12:49am On Mar 31, 2012
They should be killed right away, not jailed. Civil Servants are the most corrupt, not even d politicains as people think. All the estate in Abuja are owned by serving and retired civil servants. This is simple becos, no one checks them. A Director lives and acquires properties like he is the president. A permenent secretary does wonders with wealth. What pains me most is that, in the civil service, if u retire as a permanent secretary, which is the most senior and final level in civil service, u will still be paid on a monthly basis, with all entitlement until u die. U will recieve exactly wat u were receivng as a perm sec, u retire with all govt property in yur possession, be it cars, official residence etc, and yet these guys loot the nation.
Have u wondered why those who have spent 4yrs and above in the civil service do not search for jobs? They remain and retire there. Not so much for the time and flexible hours, but because they loot the nation in diverse ways without anyone questioning them.
A friend of mine who has just spent 5yrs and 4months in the civil service and whose annual salary till date is not up to N2m, will be completing his 4bedroom apartment with BQ in about 3mnths time in the FCT.
U can now imagine wat an assistant director, director and almighty permanent secretary is capable of doing.
If for nothing else, but for the sake of those old men and women who sleep at various pension offices all in a bid to collect one small pension or entitlement, some even die in the process, MAY THESE PENSION THIEVES BE KILLED ASAP.

@ Stupid Topic

Are they not naturally born as maids?

Who delievers the children?

Who breasts feeds them?

Who is perpertually doomed to be in the kitchen till death do you part?

Who cleans the house 24/7?

Who washes the clothes and Dishes most of the time?

Who nannies the kids 24/7?

At the end of the month, dont men or husbands give them money for the week or month to buy more food stuffs and cleaning utensils which in other wards serves as their monthly wages for being a housemaid only that she wears a wedding ring?

How many house husbands do you know? Rathe there are millions of house wives. Is that not a glorified title for a House maid?

Abeg make una go siddon jare!

Psssf. . . .

shut up!!! men like u are just good 4 nothin.
