BTW why is the APC gubernatorial candidate running away from mere debate? Is government not longer continuation again, obaseki abandoned the storm project that oshiomole started in his second tenure. Obaseki is a failure and abandoning a laudable project that we all see the effect during raining season in places like ugbowo, abi can you denied that cos the underground drainages have all been covered by weed. Imagine a Benin man stoping project that will benefit his people majorly and the rest of us also. Did you not see how Makinde dealt with Yoruba nation agitators without waiting for the Federal Government? Do you not see how Amotekun fish out bandits and kidnappers more effectively than the Nigerian Police Force? Abi mo paro?
Answer: Fulani Herdsmen killed Three OBAs and also kidnapped and killed people recently, in that same Ibadan .Where are the amutekun brigade ? Where is Sunday IGBOHO? Why is he not in Prison like Nnamdi KANU. That alone shows that Yoruba Agitation is a big JOKE.
Yoruba Nation Agitators are a performed skit directed by the same APC loyalist that want to threaten the North. What has happened to those that were captured? Imagine Army seeing them, hearing the gunshots and not killing them? Nobody is foolish as you. What a joker.
And that is why what is happening in Rivers State can never occur in the Southwest, and what we see in Anambra, Abia, and Imo is unheard of among the Yoruba. The Ganduje-Kwankwaso struggle is almost impossible in the Southwest
Answer: Seyi Makinde fought with Amosun. Oyetola is still fighting with Adeleke. The Governor of KWARA is still fighting Saraki. In OGUN the citizens themselves are fighting Dapo Abiodun. In ONDO there is internal strife everywhere. Lagos, is calm because they all united against their fear of IGBO economic and property domination.

KnowAll: 1. Free transport to work
2. Subsidised homes. Like the ones built by shagari in the 80’s . Little one two & 3 bedroom houses. They would pay N5000.00 per month
3. Build large cooperative stores that would sell groceries at rock bottom price. That means government would buy fruit and vegetables from farmers and subsidies them. Including meat rice& fish.
It can be done. There would be know reasons to increase wages which would eventually lead to a runaway inflation. The 650,000 labour is asking for would lead to runaway inflation just like in Zimbabwe. God bless you for these cos I used to tell some of my friends and even neighbours that increment in salary will not solve current challenges but the look me as a bad man just because they work with government and I don't. Why didn't you people condem the second niger bridge, where there no existing bad roads in south east. This year budget included east west road. The anger is that the road is not connecting any state in south east.
People are dying on these bad roads yet the govt priority is a coastal highway that we all know wouldn't be completed in 20yrs to come.
How is that a bad idea if I may ask Ben?
In a bid to support criminality they start sounding like uneducated people.
If this coastal highway is not all about criminality, they should equally award instant repairs for all the bad roads in the country and release a whooping 1 trillion naira to start up immediate work on them. |

Tell us in the comments section, because while chatting with Nyesom earlier today, I frankly informed him that he should forget rivers, it's gone, the guy knew you will practically control him, so he had to free himself from your stronghold. You held him too tight, he had to flee.

Hope all of you as have seen the dictator you brought to power?
This guy never worked in APC... He sidelined most of those who brought him to power in APC and they had to run to Oshiomole to talk to him since he brought him to power.
Oshiomole wasn't jobless, so what will Oshiomole be looking for in Edo when he occupies a seat as national chairman?
Oshiomole tried talking to Obaseki, telling him to carry everybody along so peace can reign.
Obaseki got annoyed and started deriding and dragging Oshiomole in the mud as well.
Till today, Obaseki has not achieved 30% of what Oshiomole achieved when he was a governor, yet senseless Edo people allowed Obaseki to sway them with godfatherism slogan.
Is there anywhere where godfathers don't exist?
The issue is you should have a godfather that has the interest of the people at heart. Oshiomole showed that with the numerous projects he completed as governor, from gully erosion control, to roads, companies, power generation, schools, hospitals, etc.
But foolish Edo people choose to follow the dictator under whose tenure now roads are now so bad in Edo state, public schools don't have chairs, agberos and cultists now roam about with guns, intimidating and killing anyhow....etc
Well, Edo people should enjoy the tirant Obaseki they voted for, just like those who voted for the incompetent Buhari are enjoying him now Must you insult people to err your view. you lack good proper upbringing. |

anorexicmuster: Very true
But saying the truth in Nigeria is liable to get you abused...apparently you want the poor to suffer.
But the thing is, when you put price controls on petrol, and pay a subsidy to compensate the resulting losses, you end up with bad refineries, chronic fuel scarcity, and massive importation of fuel.
Venezuela subsidizes fuel to the point that it costs N40 per liter there....meanwhile, they are losing $18 billion annually to smuggling. Their entire petrol infrastructure is in a mess because there is no profit to fix the refineries there.
That's all I am gonna say on the matter.
The disgraced emir has spoken the truth...and FWIW he backed GEJ's attempt to remove subsidy. I did not like GEJ, or Buhari...but if GEJ had been allowed to remove subsidy in 2012...by now we would have had working refienreis, and saved billions of naira, and the value of the naira would be better. Exactly. subsidy can not be sustained forever. when petroleum sold high under Gej, that could have been the perfect time to stop subsidy and fix the refineries, which will later in the long run, reduce the price when deregulated. we lack visionary leaders since 1960 till now. |

It irks me to see these animals called Igbos blackmailing the Yorubas throughout their history on earth.
Igbo Presidency
1). The Yorubas were completely relegated to their region in 1960 when Igbos formed alliance with the North against the interest of the entire South and held many political positions at the federal level. The likes of Nwachukwu, Nwafor, Osadebey and Nnamdi Azikiwe were actively involved in their administration in 1960. And i guess what! Yorubas weren’t bitter about it! Yorubas didn’t cry about it, they moved on as if nothing happen.
2). Fast forward to 1960, Igbos bite more than they can chew! Aguiyi Ironsi(An Igbo man) came to power and subjugated other Nigerians. The Igbos decided to destroy our flourishing regional system of govt-True federalism.
3). Igbo formed another political alliance with the North against the Yorubas from the South. Ekwueme emerged to represent the interest of the Igbos. They went against Awolowo and relegated the Yorubas back to regional politics. As usual, Yorubas weren’t bitter about it, they moved on.
1999 was the 1st time a Yoruba man was democratically elected by Nigerians as a president. Igbos have been using it to blackmail the Yorubas. In this administration, it was the same moralfuckers that dominated their administration.
I remember how these morafuvkers called Igbos were mocking the Yorubas for forming alliance with the North/APC. They voted in mass for PDP and threw all sort vituperations at APC. Naija8240: “My first experience picking up a car from Tincan Port Lagos to Port Harcourt”
The day started off with me picking up the car from Lagos Port. Thereafter, I proceeded to register it to avoid unnecessary interception from security personnels on the road ensuring all necessary documents were in check.
Knowing how the system functions, I was advised to keep some cash handy for some security personnels I’ll meet at various checkpoints. What I encountered on the road didn’t seem like extortions . In fact! One can say the police, army and every other security officers that are suppose to protect lives and properties of our dear country are the people robbing us.
How did we get here? Nigeria security services have destroyed this country! There were about 23 check points all filled with police ,army and customs on the high way. Each had a particular amount stipulated to be paid. I met like 9 custom officers checking for duty papers. Each asked for a “1k non-negotiable fee” as that was a standard for them. Then the army took 200 naira at each check point.
The police are the worst! These guys are hardened criminals disguised in uniforms to operate legally on the road. They have no mercy. I spent 2-5k each at checkpoints. I ran out of luck as I approached Benin where the bigger problem started.
I got to a checkpoint and was told my car is tinted and the registered plate number didn’t reflect on their system. I was taken to their station and asked to pay the sum of 100k. I looked at heaven, left and right for help but none came. I started negotiating the extortion, and we ended up at 40k. After paying I was allowed to leave and so I continued my journey hoping this time the extortions were over.
As God answered my prayers, I didn’t meet any Custom officer from Benin to Port Harcourt just police check points. In total, I spent 98k on extortions and it saddens me. The questions that still lingers in my head is “why Port Harcourt and Warri Ports are still not functioning till date”? Why do our Politicians Politicize everything in this country? If not politics, tell me why the Ports in the South are not operating? There are lots of readjustments to be made especially where citizens in my country have accepted extortion as norm. We need to do better!
God bless!! The question should be trow to our so called south south brother when he was a president. charity begins at home. |
