I Am on ground n know wat am saying.
Is Kelsey Harrison not a PPP project? Are gov't employed Drs not working there? ? Are they not bin reimbursed monthly, unfailingly I may add, via d free medical care program? ?? Is it Not listed as part of the State operated hospitals? ??

There Is Nothing I've said here that I am not sure of.
the equipments..d C- arm is@ Bmsh n the Image intensifier n odas is@ Kelsey Harrison.

Confirm it.

..n FYI, I Do Not care abt politics wen it comes t certain issues.
You do from the bolded. You came into this saying, the project is not a new one that I should stop deceiving people here whereas I only said, the state just completed the third hospital. Like I told you, Kelson and Maxilofacial are run by foreigners. They don't swap equipment with BMH. Beside, this article has nothing to do with BMH. I will prefare you go and find out. Or better still call your doctor friend to confirm.

Some of my friends and relations have actually done free of charge operation in those hospital. Please I advice you go back to those hospital and inquire

dBard: Dude listen, Amaechi tried but made some ridiculous errors due to his stubbornness. A lot of those health centres are equipped wit stuffs which are Not useful@dat level of health care. I've seen model health centre pics wit Bohr Anaesthetic machines. .etc, wen d general hospitals n tertiary institutions are lacking dse.
With the facilities in dem, dse health centres can as well b said t b grossly underutilized.

lemme give u personal e.g..my close relative needed a hip surgery@bmsh, it couldn't be done cos 2 equipments that were needed had bin split btw Kelsey n BMSH against all protestations by d consultant orthopedic surgeons..f no particular reason than politics.
Wen ppl complain, its not always supporter of APC n wateva..Not every issue is politics
Please stop lying. Kelson Hospital operate indepently. You are in social media and what you says here might be use against you in future. How because of politics, you are blinded to know that Kelson and Maxilofacial runs independently by a foreign firm. Please just shut up if you will keep lying.

You and people who liked your post should show me the secondary health building their state government have constructed. There is a difference between primary, secondary and tertiary hospital. This is more like a General Hospital Amaechi constructed

PoliticsRe: Rivers State Government Completes Third Hospital by kel4soft(op): 1:15am On Aug 26, 2014
People are missing the point here. Is not about the building though nice but the structures health system is run in Rivers State is amazing. The form triangular chain where every health buildings serve her different purposes. For example. The referral Hospitals (Kelson and Maxilofacial ) only attends to patients on recommendations. The idea is to encourage people to make use of the primary health centres where not too difficult ailments and pregnancy are taken care of. If more people use the health centres. The pressure on the secondary will reduce.

The tertiary which is the UPTH will be complimented by the mega hospital under construction.

This is not the mega one that one is in Greater Port Harcourt. This is just a General Hospital to compliment the already completed ones.

Do you have problem with Amaechi or the hospital or APC?

This is the prototype of mega hospital currently on at GPHC

PoliticsResidents Blast FG Over Patch- Up Directive To FERMA On Umuahia-ak Road by kel4soft(op): 4:24pm On Aug 25, 2014
By CHIOMA ONUEGBU
IKOT EKPENE — CITIZENS of Akwa-Ibom and Abia
States, who first raised the alarm, July, about the
scandalous state of Ikot Ekpene – Umuahia and
Ikot Ekpene-Aba federal expressways are enraged
by the Federal Government’s decision to merely
patch the highways, instead of reconstructing and
dualizing them.
Soon after they cried out through the Niger Delta
Voice in the first week of July, the Federal Road
Maintenance Agency, FERMA, was directed to
rehabilitate the Ikot Ekpene- Aba and Ikot Ekpene –
Umuahia roads, but the citizens said what the
motorways required was a total reconstruction, not
“patch- patch work”.
They had lamented in the report the untold
sufferings they were passing through as a result of
high cost of transportation, goods and services
because of the impassable state of the roads
abandoned for many years, as well as deaths from
accidents and robbery attacks.
Contract for reconstruction
The citizens asserted if the federal government was
sincere in giving the roads facelift, it should re-
award contract for the reconstruction and not for
mere maintenance by FERMA, which will end up
patching the roads as usual.
Chairman, Ikot Ekpene People’s Assembly, Engr.
Tom Udo Essien, though commended the federal
government for at least responding to the masses’
appeal in Niger Delta Voice to fix the roads,
advised that the road be awarded for
reconstruction and if possible dualization, pointing
out that the current state of the roads had gone
beyond just mending them.
Essien said that it would be better to allow the
roads remain abandoned than patching them again
because several patched works on them in the
past did not work.
He wondered why the federal government would
award such dilapidated roads to be patched while
it was doing standard roads in other places.
“The maintenance crew is to look after a road
when it is beginning to get bad and not when it
has gone to that level. Repair is just mending
something that got cracked. Ikot Ekpene-Aba road
is not cracked. I, therefore, advise that the road be
awarded for reconstruction. If state governments
can be dualizing their roads, why should a whole
federal government not dualize its roads? After all,
what are we using our money for?” he queried.
A youth leader in Uruk Uso, Ikot Ekpene,
Manasseh Umoette, said, “As far as road
construction is concerned, those roads go beyond
FERMA and to the best of our knowledge, FERMA
does not have the record of repairing roads that
lasts. FERMA deals with local contractors that lack
expertise in road repairs. Because of the regular
and heavy vehicular movement on the roads, if the
roads are not reconstructed, whatever repair they
do, in a matter of weeks, the roads will collapse.”
Managing Director of MECON-ACE International
Limited, Uyo, Mr. Alex Mapayi, however, described
federal government resolution to repair the roads
as a big relief, saying, “I am a regular user of Ikot
Ekpene-Umuahia road, I can tell you the road is a
bad case and when it rains the boys that use
kernel shells to fill up bad spots will not be there
to help direct your tyres to enable you move.
But I don’t see why we should be repairing roads
yearly. We should have roads that have lifespan,
roads that can last a long time and the only way to
make roads durable is by doing quality job,” he
added.
Publicity Secretary of All Progressives Congress,
APC, in the state, Mr. Samuel Udobong, said,
“While admiring and appreciating the achieved feat
by Vanguard Newspaper for drawing government
attention to the dilapidated road, I agree with
others that the roads have gone beyond mere
repair.”
“What we are saying is that these roads have been
bad for too long and over the years, they have
subjected our people to suffering and hardship, so
I am appealing to the federal government to re-
award the road to a competent contractor that will
do a standard work. Akwa Ibom people deserve
good roads. We are tired of FERMA patching these
roads again and again. It is not helping at all
because it does not last,” he said.
Independent contractor
Chairman, All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA,
in Akwa-Ibom, Mr. Udeme Okon told Niger Delta
Voice, “It is a good thing that the roads have been
finally remembered but what we do not
understand is why the state that produces so
much money for the economy of this country to
have such unfortunate roads.”
His words, “It is really sad and that is why I am
not too excited that the road has been awarded to
FERMA because it will only mend the roads. So, I
advise the federal government to look into the
matter again and re-award the roads to a
competent and independent contractor that will
bring out the best.”
FERMA only maintain roads
Former Military Administrator of Akwa Ibom state
and Board member of FERMA representing South-
South, Idongesit Nkanga, told Niger Delta Voice
that the maintenances were temporary intervention
from FERMA to make the roads motorable pending
when they would be awarded for reconstruction,
adding that FERMA only maintains roads.
“When you look at Ikot Ekpene-Aba road, it is the
Abia state side that is very bad, the Azumili side is
also very bad, and that is why FERMA is being
asked to intervene to make the road motorable for
a while. When the permanent thing is to be done,
that has to be done by the Federal Ministry of
Works”, he said.

PoliticsRivers State Government Completes Third Hospital by kel4soft(op):
The Rivers State Government have completed her third Hospital since Amaechi assumes office with the General Hospital at Etche and Bori both at their various stages of completion increasing them to five in numbers. These excludes the over 150 model Health Centres the state have already spread across the state.
The state is well known for her free health care once an individual is registered in any of her nearest health centre. Same goes for her hospital and cottages

The State is a also building a multi billion naira mega hospital at Greater Port Harcourt that can contained more than 1000 bed spaces.

It will be recalled Kelson Specialist Hospital at Diobu and Maxilofacial Hospital at Garrison were delivered and since been put to use. They are currently run by Canadians under the watch of the state ministry of health. Health services in these hospitals are free of charge provided patients are recommended by doctors at different state health centres.

Without further ado, I bring to you newly completed Prof. Nimi Briggs General Hospital.

NYSCRe: GRAPHICS! Worsening Pictures Of Oyo State NYSC Camp by kel4soft: 9:23am On Aug 24, 2014
This is becoming silly, FG has 37 NYSC camps for her yearly orientation exercises. The funds meant for the up keep of these camps are the soul responsibility of NYSC since they are budgeted for. Say, some state governments especially the Northern ones are kind of helpful to built or renovate them doesnt shift the batons to the State Governments. After all, the FG doesn't give the State Government extra change for this purpose. NYSC is the soul responsibility of the FG and if they know they can't continue to run the scheme maybe due to financial constrain, they should man up and scrap it or better still suspend the 3weeks orientation camps pending when they would fix all their camps properly. What is the 52% meant allocated to the FG?
