PoliticsRe: Cost Of Building A Secondary School Is Now Almost N1 Billion- FG by kel4soft: 10:47am On Aug 07, 2013
staggerman: Yeah. They borrow for their personal use, but the country gets to pay off the debt.

Truth is, Nigerians are distracted by the political happenings in Rivers, Anambra and Lagos State, but we are seemingly not paying much attention to the core happenings in our economic atmosphere.

Most people spent weeks, even months debating and arguing over the governor's forum election fiasco, while neglecting to raise same voices over the lack of competent actions by most of these governor's in their respective states.

I live in Portharcourt and I'm more concerned about the dilapidated Trans-Amadi road than by the so-called feud between PEJ and Amaechi.
Not trying to argue. Please you will noticed Total filling station has been demolished and RCC already has started constructing the road from slaughter axis. The Woji-Elelenwo axis of that road has also commenced. I think the constant rain in port harcourt is not helping matters. That said, i totally agree with you that we should be interested in the development and not in the politics of our state of nation. I am interested in our state thats why i can give you this piece.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Problem Is That Citizens Don’t Fear God – Oritsejafor by kel4soft: 10:34am On Aug 07, 2013
solidbroda: This man is simply cra*y.
how many Americans believe in God?
how many Britons go to churches?
how many Danish believe in God?
It has been noticeable that countries with religious concentration and beliefs are the most backward in the world.
If he had say: ''we dont love one another, that is the reason for Nigeria's problem, i would have seconded him.
Leave those countries you mentioned.
South Africa, Ghana and nearly all Arabian countries including UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia believe in God.

I never knew Americans are still discipline enough to take that bold action. That concert will witness strippers, smokers, drunkers etc. Pastor Will cannot give a defence of trying to preach the gospel over there.

PoliticsRe: Imo Completes 120 New Model Schools by kel4soft: 9:08pm On Aug 04, 2013
Abagworo: Project has over-stayed. Show me any other governor that has built 120 schools since 2011. All the schools are not same size though. I believe they were built according to the expectant population of each area involved.
Amaechi to complete additional 250 schools this October
PoliticsRe: Imo Completes 120 New Model Schools by kel4soft: 8:56pm On Aug 04, 2013
Why leave important issues and tackle the easier ones? Electricity and roads are key in order to encourage investment.
What's education without the hope of a means of livelihood after graduation?
Without education you won't know that, Education is less important to roads and electricity. So you have finally contracdicted to yourself.
PoliticsRe: Imo Completes 120 New Model Schools by kel4soft: 8:53pm On Aug 04, 2013
Abagworo: Mention any other State government that has built up to 100 schools in the past 8years apart from Rivers State. If you live in Owerri, I just told you of the one at Aladinma. Go there and check if it has been completed and if so snap it and show us here.
Rivers State is 500 completed schools

PoliticsRe: What’s REALLY President Goodluck Jonathan’s Ethnic Group? by kel4soft: 5:40am On Aug 04, 2013
onuwaje: I would disagree with u on this one reasons been that the ijaws that attacked itsekiri communities last month were from egbema in delta state and the ijaws in delta state are nowhere close to any ibo land
They can help Ijaws doesn't mean they are Ijaws. Egbema are not Ijaws, they are igbos.
PoliticsRe: What’s REALLY President Goodluck Jonathan’s Ethnic Group? by kel4soft: 10:40pm On Aug 03, 2013
onuwaje: Well after going through this boring thread I wud say that the op aint using his/her number 6(sorry for the insult) reasons been that the nigerian ethnic groups re grouped into 250 enthnic sections that's y we have groups like
1.Efik/ibibio
2.Hausa/fulani etc this is because they have something in common. The ijaw nation are diverse and from my understanding we have the following
1.Okrika
2.Kalabari
3.Engenni
4.Egbema
5.Ogbia(as u have mentioned)
6.Bonny
7.Nembe and many more.. These tribes have some words in common (tamnuno, etc) so though u may say our sister ebele is not an ijaw (ogbia as u claim) he is still an ijaw man.... Ahhhhh izon!!!!!!!! grin
Egbema is not an Ijaw lineage rather an Igbo divide. Thats said, you can't say Bonny, you say Ibani instead where you have Bonny and Opobo natural language before their silly mistakes that led them lost the language. Just Finima retaining the language.
PoliticsRe: What’s REALLY President Goodluck Jonathan’s Ethnic Group? by kel4soft: 10:34pm On Aug 03, 2013
TBH, the OP is right. If you study the history of Ijaw nation, you won't find the present day Ogbia mention anywhere. Is the same misconception people calling Degema as Kalabari people or Bile as Kalabari. Is a funny history that need insight to comprehend. Ijaw comprises of just four divide namely:
Bile
Ibani
Okrika and
Ijaw the mother language.
Kalabari is just a lighter mixture of Okrika, Ibani and Ijaw languages. King Amachree of Kalabari migrated from Calabar to Bile area to create the present day Asari Toru and Akuku Toru. For more details...

PoliticsRe: The Criminality Of Kogi State Government by kel4soft: 1:27pm On Aug 01, 2013
My mum is a primary school teacher in one of the model schools just built by Amaechi in Rivers State. She has a PC in her office and it is connected to the internet same goes to other teachers in their school. I once ask her why they were not giving laptops and she said. The commissioner of education doesn't think it is government priority for now since they are all entitled to a flat screen monitor network to one CPU.
PoliticsRe: Rivers State Secretariat Is The Tallest And Biggest In Nigeria. by kel4soft: 8:22am On Aug 01, 2013
Symphony007: and what about port harcourt that is expanding beyond ogoni, into ahoada, tai and even nearly aba.
There is a different between Port Harcourt and Rivers State.
PoliticsRe: Rivers State Secretariat Is The Tallest And Biggest In Nigeria. by kel4soft: 8:13am On Aug 01, 2013
otokx: Bros please stop joking, Port Harcourt cannot be the same size as Lagos which is expanding into Ogun State.
Port Harcourt City before now have just one and half LGA. That is PHALGA and some part of Obio/AKpor. But, since ten years ago it has added 2 more local government namely Eleme and Ikwerre LGA. That said, people confuse old Port Harcourt township that is refer to as 'Garden City' with the present day Port Harcourt.
The military government did not help matter to give this present day Port Harcourt that plan we all dream of. People were buying land and building houses indiscriminating. And thus alter the initial design of the city. That is why it was difficult for the present day government to develop without demolishing. No wonder the govt came with a mega city called Greater Port Harcourt. If you visit the new city you will notice internal roads been constructed and some trunck A roads such as Prof. Tam West road and M10 road in progress, with M1 road to link the old township with the new city coming this december. Havin said these, mistakes of our fore fathers can be corrected if we all work together.

PoliticsRe: Anambra Women To Support APC, Pledge To Contribute To Ngige’s Campaign Fund by kel4soft: 9:52am On Jul 31, 2013
As a Rivers man, it pains me to see old eastern region always fighting and divided on issues. This is politics, let the best candidate win. If APC or political party is criteria to judge our aspirants. Then, PDP should be sent packing long time here in south-south. Vote for the best candidate not the political party. Using propaganda to twist fact is very lame from us.

The glamour and booze of campus life may elude you cos is majorly for matured mind or working class people. You can actually visit their site to get more info.
