Adejoro74: Why can't these SWners do something and remain steadfast to it? Why must they flip flop all the timeMaybe you can explain to this forum how they push Amaechi to fight GEJ |
According to Keshi. |
mens dept: SO why can't DICKSON suggest to merge his state back with Rivers and then possibly back with the former East to create the obviously economically viable Eastern Region, since he and his people have publicly said they cant, do not know, nor have the will to govern effectively under the current framework of Nigeria? You mean a proud Governor that sees Amaechi as a foe instead of a brother? Do you know Rivers State has Songhai 20 times bigger than the one at Cotonu, Dickson also trying to model what he has seen in Rivers, instead going to the state Governor for assistant decide to send 200 novice (politicians) instead of professionals to Benin Rep for training with the aim establishing same at Bayelsa, but the errand men went there for jamboree. They ended up not achieving anything. The farm establishment in Bayelsa is now a mirage. Another one, when he Dickson came on board as a Governor, he said, he will copy the model primary schools and Health centres in Rivers and Akwa Ibom road networks as a case study, but what has this man done now? Award 2 flyovers. He forgot to complete his predecessors project. That 5-star hotel building in Yenegoa is still lieing uncompleted. He is yet to continue any left over projects from his predecessors. He forgot that Ibom International airport, Le Meridian Hotel, Tropicana and some Federal roads in Akwa Ibom were all conceived by Victor Attah before Akpabio completed them with only Le Meridian Hotel completed anyway. Why am i digressing? Is to show you how pumpos this Dickson is. He wants to create a new Bayelsa without sourcing for the existing plan of the state. |
Pukkah: I laugh when the same people come round to shriek marginalization. Having your son as the President can never develop your people as much as having a pragmatic and hardworking Governor.Well said, they are my sister state. I will tell you they prefare money sharing to development. |
Ngwakwe: This is why GEJ should up his game in destabilising those Northern Governors States for them to have a feel of What it means by making Nigeria ungovernable for him.Do you think the North will be destabilized? GEJ is one clueless man who use clueless people like Akpabio and Wike to achieve his goal. Both are violent are deadly in their respective state politics, it can't be extended to national politics cos is a different kettle of fish. GEJ needs the Northern states especially Kano, Jigawa, Niger and Sokoto like they also need him. He wants a compromise with them, but from what am seeing he want Amaechi to be out of the equation which these northern Governors are refusing to betray unlike how the south-south PDP states Governors are doing. GEJ will def come back 2015, but politics is give and take, trying to finish Amaechi's political career with the assurance of Tukur, Akpabio and Wike is his greatest undoing. |
frosbel: And you think 1 year in office is sufficient to resolve all these problemsGEJ is 3years in office. And why are people clamouring for people to give him time? All wrap state Governors for doing nothing in their first year but always want to defend GEJ. Please, what is good for the goose is also good for the gander. |
eGuerrilla: This is what happens when an innumerate governor gets (s)elected to superintend over the affairs of a state.Sum the state up. |
Most people interest will shift from the on-going politics in the country to the beautiful game of football including the key actors fanning all these crisis |
The Governor as a matter of urgency should be pragmatic and save his state from this mess i just read. |
redsun: Most of the greatest icons of nigeria are yorubas. The Kutis,The Ganis,The Solarins, and ofcourse Wole who at the moment is a little bit controvercial in ways that kind of makes one wonder what is going on.You sound very triabalistic. What about Zik? |
1. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome 2. My mum 3. Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi 4. Osborne Brown (my first boss; he did inspired me) 5. My wife to be; my childhood friend, secondary school mate, graduated together at the University of Port Harcourt and to cap it all she is beautiful and to the best of my knowledge she is also faithful. |
peleson: ASUU is on Strike and Wike is more concerned about inciting mayhem in Rivers State and causing political tension in our premature democracy. To be fair, even as i want to see him go and thereafter punch his face like i want. Is not entirely his fault, he is a deputy minister and overseas Primary and Post-primary schools. Tertiary institutions are rest on the shoulders of his boss. That said, Rivers State University of Science are currently not on strike, they are in session. The Governor pulled them out from national body but thats after backlash from some loyal ASUU members. |
The transformation agenda of GEJ is working in Bayelsa and Niger Delta. Blame Amaechi for Miss Rivers failure to make the top 5 cut. Felix Obuah and Wike must report to Aso Rock (to see Madam) to explain while Judith Amaechi picked that girl that rep Rivers. |

kaorama: This should be no too much arguement about the visit. There is no way GEJ will be in Ogun state on a condolence visit to Abati family without seeing OBJ. That is courtesy and respect. We must learn to appreciate those who have gone ahead of us in the same field of life. And that is what Amechi will soon learn in a hard way. Most you include Amaechi's name? This is a different kettle of fish. Wife fighting. |
Why didnt David Mark rig the vote the same way he did when the redeployment of Commissioner Police in Rivers State was move for voting. |

ogb5: Hero over what, is he having crisis because he is fighting for the masses? You just angry cos he has refused to share money like his destractors. |
kkkp: Y are Rivers ppl always voilent...ALUU 4..nw corpersAn average Rivers man is not violent. Is just that things are not the same again. Blame politics, before now, the Governor can summon the CP to explain the situation but as it stands now, even the Governor's life is not safe. Though i saw him in my neighbourbood at Woji-Alcon almost everyday come to expect a bridge project with just 3 security personnel. Am just gutted because the peace enjoyed in the last 6yrs have bn overshadowed by this crisis. Why am more disturb is that, it may affect this year <b>CANIRIV<b> |
Jonathan is working. The transformation agenda is on, blame Amaechi for the delay in updating Nigeria league on livescores. |
Walter, Obuah, Wike and the rest, they make me laugh. The state chairman can't suspend or expel a Governor, is only the NWC and NEC that have the impetus. Beside, Amaechi's suspension is in court and PDP can't act until the court process is over. That said, Felix Obuah faction are only boiling and frustrated because their mission last week thursday failed. |
mafiffle: goodIf you know the people that expelled him, you will just weep for GEJ |
OAM4J: --------> https://www.nairaland.com/490918/lets-complaints-herei can't post an article for the past days. I use a mobile phone, if i click new, it takes me to topic. Help pls |
chiefololade: They are in d second/third division, and it happens everywhere, for example Birmingham is a great city in England but their famous club Birmingham FC is currently playing in the championshipAston Villa and Westbrom are in Birmingham bro. |
chidindufrank: I have been praying for this for long. Now they should also extend it to bet360 and other betting sites if they wish to see me bet. Once nija lig enta for betting sites I go begin hammer with all home teams must win syndromeWill never happen until we stop this winner at home syndrome. What odds do you think they will give us? |
Mzsolex: is it a foreign website? You be olodo oh! U nedey watch match or follow live scores. |
ilugunboy: ...and this is the dude some deluded dolts were praising to the heaven not long ago on this forum. You took the words away from my mouth. Some deluded people feels he is a freedom fighter. |
erekere: It is most unfortunate that he finds himself at this level.Same with Mikel, but why is Obi not in his shoes? |
aikuda: From many of the posts here, it looks like many people are so quick to jump up in jubilation whenever bad news about Osaze is reported. I wonder what he did that is so bad that people want him to fail so badly! we are so quick to forget his ten years of pure dedication to the Super Eagles. Anyways, this is no news because other EPL clubs are already bidding 2.5 million pounds. Na wa for naija people!Trying playing the devil's advocate won't help. The bottomline, his value has really dropped due to lack of playing time or probably... |
Ask ur governor in rivers he recieves the second highest federal allocation only behind awka-ibom...
Nigeria don't practice true federalism, so there is no way the Governors of the oil rich zones can create jobs. 1. SHELL is not subject to their host states rather the FG with them controls the oil. What they give as 13% derivation is a pinut to what they actually share with their co-ventures. Until we practice fiscal federalism where states can make laws that will be favourable to them and FG can concentrate on their exclusive list. 2. The upstream sector which SHELL and is allies operate cannot exhaust the numerous unemployments we have. So, downstream sector is the answer and the onus lies with FG.. |
kaze4blues: Jobless sets of illiterates....who told you they are not graduate. For clarification, the first lady is not interested in the welfare of Rivers people. That said, you don't insult a region where this oil is located. |
otokx: Tell your master to complete the tam david west road that links the airport with east west road.but what of the G.U Ake Road that link the airport from Air force bridge. He gave to RCC which has being completed with street light and walkways. As for the the Prof. Tam Road, what is remaining is just the ashphalting, that won't take more than 4 months during the dry season. Is just there are other pressing need inside the town. Especially the Garrison-Trans-Amadi-East west road that passes through Woji-ykc wicked hold up and the Alcon bridge to Odili road plus other pressing roads that need more attentions. |
