Afodot0022: ...

pls can u enlighten me about ds NOUN. school cos am interested in it and really need info before I fall into it.
NOUN have their satelite campus in all states in Nigeria but controlled by one.
I actually helped my cousin to process his admission because he wasn't chanced. Their 1st and 2nd year examination are computer base examination and they just have weekends lecutures since their target are for partimers. The glamour and booze of campus life may elude you cos is majorly for matured mind or working class people. You can actually visit their site to get more info.

I will start by thanking you for adding pace on the on-going dualization of East West road especially the UNIPORT-Rumuokoro axis. But, i want to bring to your notice, you may end up dualising traffic when completed next year as promise. The road from Uniport to Rumuokoro is very narrow despite expansive demolished structures carried out. I thought you guys will give us 6lanes, owing to the nature of traffic along that axis. The width of that road is no different to Ikwerre road (Mile4-Rumuokoro axis). Which you know is a home of traffic in Port Harcourt. I also want to bring to your attention that those open drains are outdated, can they be covered? Thus creating a walk way for us. Even Aba road constructed in 70's was done with underground drains.
Thanking you in anticipation.

Government should do something very urgently this night cos i can't stand bad road.
Governor Akpabio has refused to let me suffer for poor road.
Then you have not gone to Ikot Abasi. Don't stay in the comfort of Uyo and think all is well with their roads

This article is so balance that i want to read it over and over again. Am from the Ijaw clan and i will tell you, am dissapointed with our leaders especially the so called ''PDP leaders, INC and their likes. If you go to our creeks, the level of underdevelopment is so alarming and that have affected the psyche of our people that you will wonder if we have representatives at all. They don't care about us, but how power will remain with GEJ, so that they can be paying solidarity and whatever name visits, and you know exactly the resultant effect of that; money will change hands.
Like i said in my previous thread, why have our leaders not gone to Aso Rock to plead with Jönathan to change Orubebe cos of east-west road? what about the non-violent graduates in our regiön? Can't we be fixed? Should we all be millitant or ex as in some cases? Has minister of petroleum done enough to curb the steady oil leakages into our waters? Money spent on warlords (Tompolo, Ateke, Asari and the rest) are they necessary compare to the fishermen or farmers at that creek? What legacies are these leaders passing to us? Some many questions unanswered. We are first to criticized child marriage, meanwhile in our creeks, you have 90% of teenagers, i mean U16 with children aside wedlock. I hate to criticize my people but, i can't stop talking until they change.
PoliticsJonathan Need To Change Some Of His Aides by kel4soft(op): 8:04am On Jul 29, 2013
Information and communication are vital tools in reaching out to the populace, but the way and manner these are done determines how the people receive and responds to such.
Having said these, our Presidents aides especially Okupe, Gulak and Abati (although the later has adjusted of late) either don't know or are fighting their own personal ambition. A prime example is the news emanating today credited to the Presidency (Gulak) condenming the call for the removal of PDP chairman Alhaji Bamanga Tukur by the Northern Governors after a secret meeting without this aide (Gulak) with the President. I am not interested if Tukur leaves or not, but want to know if the President actually condemn the statement and not the Presidency cos severally conflicting statements from Abati, Okupe and Gulak with that of the President himself.
A situation were these aides misuse their previledges and the same time dragging their Boss into the mud.
Just want to hear your thoughts my fellow NL.

Dereformer: I weep for this girl. If only she understands what she has done to herself.

It beat my imagination how this happened. I still believe that this girl is not acting with her senses.

Believe me, this whole thing will fall off her eyes by the time she is given to a man as old as or even older than her father for marriage.

My advice to the father is; be prayerful. I have already written an open letter in this forum to the president of CAN.

Let the matter be charged to court, let the court deliberations and cross examination of the girl be televised. if she repeats the statements above; I will believe she is not charmed.

Once again, to the father, I say be prayerful. If it is hypnosis, your daughter will surely come to her senses.

However, if it is her free will, then there is nothing anybody will do. But that will not make you hate or harm your daughter because you are not wiser than GOD.

I hold one truth as self evident, unequivocally true, eternally unshakeable and incontrovertibly correct, that JESUS CHRIST is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE.

Build PEDESTRIAN SIDEWALKS FIRST FASHOLA.

WITH UNDERGROUND DRAINAGE.

Then we can talk realistically about bicycle lanes.

You can't have bicycle lanes beside open gutters.

The very idea is ludicrous.
Are you telling me Fashola don't build underground drains in Lagos? In Niger Delta states most of their roads are with underground drains. Well, the last time i get to lagor, i was at Isolo, and i saw open drain, was little bit dissapointed shall

PoliticsRe: Volunteers For Gen. Buhari Presidency Change 2015 by kel4soft: 10:02am On Jul 26, 2013
Why won't Buhari rule this country? Cos he is corrupt or condole corruption? Am in my mid twenties, from Rivers and a christian. Why i say the later is because i don't want you guys to think am a muslim and to also let you guys know i was not in this world when Buhari was head of state. Having said all these, i try to find out from my Dad and my elders how Buhari government was when he was our President. Their general views they share despite their different sentiments were that our economy was stable and corruption was very low. So, i ask myself; why then is he hated and blackmail? Well as a southern, i would love to see GEJ win 2015, but it should be on delivering dividends of democracy. Be that as it may, Buhari is qualified to contest for any position he so wishes. How come no one has brought up any fraudulent or corruption charges against him?
I rest my case.
