Sins of parents are not forgiven until the 5th generation. Before you do bad to people always you have a family that will suffer it after you. I don't know if the woman is truly guilty but if she is the all her family are guilty also

Bro don't mind him, I think I get his point. He and all his family members seems to be very poor because that's the only set of people that SARS sees and looks the other way or he has a SARS man in his family. Not trying to insult him Sha but When millions of Nigerians across all tribes are saying something with one voice and a very few r saying the opposite, what do you think is wrong? It simply means the few don't have conscience
NeeKlaus:

Lol, you really don't get it.
I sense you might be elderly, yeah? So yes, they might not harass you.

But what about your family members? Young girls and guys related to you? Probably driving good cars and dressing well and working legit but susceptible to being branded as Yahoo boys by these SARS rogues?

Or everyone in your family circle is elderly enough not to be harassed?

I really shake my head at you people that feel this SARS issue has nothing to do with you. I really do.

You are just avoiding the point! You criticizing the citizens but you avoid criticizing the government while I was trying to redirect you to start by criticizing the government first. We already know that the government is from the citizen you either criticize both starting from the government or you stay mute. Youths are taking over and I guarantee you that
fortran12:

The truth is all human beings are the same its just the severity of "baddness" that defers. The government you criticize is made up of people who were regular citizens like you and I. The nigerian government is just a reflection of her citizenry.

Thank God u said in civilized countries so how do you want us to be like civilized countries when our government aren't civilized enough? You see regular fights in Senate, house of reps etc and u won't motivate them to be civilized enough but when u see youth you turn to a motivational speaker Abi? Bros fear God na
fortran12:

In civilized countries, they protest but they do not inconvenience others, they face the people the protest is intended for not people who are going about their daily business.
The case of lagos and blocking roads who will be responsible if an ambulance or fire trucks is stuck in traffic?
Your right to free expression does not include infringing on the rights of others.
Politics / Re: EndSARS: I Witnessed Protesters Block Lagos-Ibadan Expressway (pics, Video) by Kelvinhunta: 9:08pm On Oct 16, 2020
Bro it's too late for government to do so. Only a foolish man will do so at this point because it will immediately lead to revolution or military take over so it demands caution
JappOfficial:

I hope the government will not change it for the protesters when the agitation continues, there are massive unemployment in the country, cost of living is on the high side, ASUU and FG are speeding up their negotiation thinking it will reduced the protest ground from being filled but No.

I clearly understand ur points. Thanks alot
Mamaroon:

Ok, proceed with caution though.

Imagine what the outcome might be, should a VO check online for what obtains in Nigeria........marking POF as insufficient because all the resources online (NUPEMCO included) reflect 25% not 50%.

25% (TEMPORARY LOSS OF JOB):
This is a benefit available for a contributor/RSA holder who is out of job (voluntary resigns or is disengaged) for a minimum of four (4) months and is below the retirement age of 50 years. The RSA holder may access an amount not exceeding 25% of RSA balance subject to National Pension Commission (PenCom)’s approval.

Maybe that law has been updated. I know a few in my working place that has been paid 50%.am trying to move to NUPEMCO solely because of this. After enquiry from NUPEMCO rep, they told me the law says minimum of 25% and maximum of 50%.they equally showed me where it's clearly stated on their website. They said that most PFA pays d minimum while they pay maximum. Maybe it's because they r new Sha and maybe because they seem to be for university workers alone. Just thinking
Mamaroon:

the PFAs do NOT dictate the % payable upon voluntary retirement......PENCOM does.
See https://www.pencom.gov.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/FAQ-CPS-reviewed.-17-Apr.-2018.pdf

11. When Can I Have Access to the Money in My RSA? : A holder of an RSA shall have access to his/her RSA upon retirement based on condition of service or upon attaining the age of 50 years (whichever is later) or is medically incapacitated. Where an employee voluntarily retirees, disengages or is disengaged, he/she can have access to 25% of his/her RSA provided that such employee is unable to secure another employment after 4 (four) months of such retirement.

I respect D President for using wisdom in handling this so far. Army warned protesters Buhari called them to order, Army now warning thugs attacking protesters. Signs that they r listening. Wike warned protesters but he latter joined protesters to March. Some people still believe no progress will be made. Them go shock for real

Bro don't mind some myopic people. As far as the protest is peaceful then I support it fully, however protesters should be careful not to damage properties of fellow Nigerian as that D only reason government will try to legally interfere. So far so good we r getting there. This is the only hope to get Nigeria great again. At this stage government can't harm anyone because D world is watching. Only this protest made me believe Nigeria will work again. This movement is not political at all so no one will say it's about APC or PDP
Gerrard59:

That is the only way the Govt can respond to the current issue - SARS officials killing and robbing people across the country. If you have been a victim or know someone close who was to these daredevils, you would support this movement. But hey, because e no concern me. Tomorrow, you would want Nigeria to be like one developed country as if it came on the platter of gold.

Guy u should be greatful to social media. If it was back in the day without social media and u came out to say this rubbish eh.... Protesters would have shown u how to know jobless people behaves. Jobful person indeed. When government locked u down for months u didn't complain about that same job of urs. Na now u want de form job minister. Well I shouldn't be surprised because among every 12 there must be judas

Don't mind them.

Is that how to protest? By turning the Citizens against them.

I don't blame them. I blame the useless Governor who refuses to do his job.

I accept the challenge. I just can't believe that there r still people who can't see what am seeing yet
Lukay99:

I will definitely quote you Sir, I'm not going to give one year because that's too long. I'll give you just few months maybe six months max and I'm telling you its going to be back to business as usual. Police will go back to exploiting and oppressing the citizens. If Nigeria is going to be great again, I definitely don't think it's going to be in this current generation maybe after 100 years or more.
Politics / Re: EndSARS: I Witnessed Protesters Block Lagos-Ibadan Expressway (pics, Video) by Kelvinhunta: 7:17am On Oct 16, 2020
That's D sacrifice. Without doing protest being felt how do u think the government will listen? Those people protesting do u think they don't have business to do? Yet they left it to be risking their lives fighting for u and me and our childrens future. Well, I just gave u a good example about doctor but u failed to understand it. We r not quarreling so no problem
Lukay99:

Protesting on the sidewalk by not blocking the highway is what you call sacrifice but blocking the highway is oppressing your fellow citizens and definitely not sacrifice. What is stopping you or the protesters from protesting on the sidewalk and not block the flow of traffic? You can still get your points across without blocking the traffic.

Quote me when this ends if there r no major changes already. This type of opportunities occurs once in 100years and protesters knows it already to still remain protesting till now. Just watch and see Nigeria will be great again
Lukay99:

Make Nigeria great again by blocking a public highway? Good luck on that. This is not new. Nigerians have been protesting police killings and brutality for over 30 years still nothing has change. The average Nigerian is an hypocrite, protesting oppression by oppressing fellow citizens. Everyone oppressing each others from The so called men of God oppressing their followers, professors selling grades for sex, civil servants oppressing the citizens that needed their services, health care workers leaving patients to die because of no money deposit, traders willing to selling fake products including fake life saving drugs that can kill you, rich men/women and celebrities paying less than minimum wage to their drivers or gateman yet blaming government about Nigerians being poor. these are all the people protesting about the bad state Nigeria is in Today. Nigeria is the way it is today because of who we are as a people. You all can protest all you want and I'm telling you nothing will change. Some of the so called protesters today will be part of the police tomorrow and will probably do the same thing or worse.

Some sacrifices r to be made. Doctors embark on strike and patients die. Not saying it's good but people will be hurt to achieve something great
Lukay99:

You're so proud of what they are doing by oppressing fellow citizens by blocking the road while you're at work working? Some of the people are being blocked from going to work and yet you're happy they can't make it to work but you can. Really? How are you different from the leaders you're protesting against? Yes they have every right to protest but they don't have any right to block a Public highway. You can protest online, on the sidewalk of the road, parking lots or government offices. Some of the road users may have a life and death emergency but cannot make it on time simply because you all think its okay to block a public highway

I understand your point but u should understand that blocking everywhere is part of the plan that will make the government accent to your demands. If it's about matching by the side of the road for one year then they won't react. It's just for everyone to adjust. Few more weeks won't kill us. We stayed at home for months because of ordinary covid that's not even in Nigeria. What good did this covid bring to Nigerians but this protest will bring a lot of changes in our system of governance
greenhulk:

I support the protest, but I think blocking a major road like this is going too far. Just imagine there's an emergency like someone dying and needs to be transported through this road. Or there's a fire outbreak, the same people will still come and say fire service were no where to be found. Do u expect them to fly?
