PassingShot: So you will prefer I give 100% of the votes in Anambra (or even the whole of SE/SS) to Jonathan? If I do that, it should also be OK to give same amount of votes in the NW and NE to Buhari and see the outcome as well. Slow it down, homey. I didn't state my "wish". I merely stated a fact. Buhari will not get 5 figures in Anambra, and that's the truth. Nothing personal here. |

Laugh wan tear my belle o! Buhari having 200,000+ votes in Anambra? Chai! Sorry, but Buhari will not have up to 8,000 votes in Anambra. And not just that, even "Invalid" will score more votes than Buhari in the East. |

But you're desperately trying to install an old expired stark illiterate soldier from 1983 as the country's president in 2015. Truly, APC and Hypocrisy dey like banana and groundnut. |

iyatrustee: Is Okoro a Ghanian name? Her father is a Ghanaian-based Igbo Nigerian while her mother is Ghanaian. However, she spent almost all her life in Ghana, so she's more in-tune with the Ghanaian culture. Plus, her passport is Ghanaian. She's Igbo by name and parentage, but Ghanaian by spirit. |

I was in my village then, no election took place! People were outdoing one another in the Thumbprinting business for jonathan! However the north is now ready to match the South with figures! So stay calm and watch! People, I found another one: http://europepmc.org/abstract/CBA/623600"Diet of African Killifish Aphyosemion Gardneri 'Aplocheilidae' In a Nigerian Rainforest Pond"by Akpan B.E., King R.P., Jonathan G.E. Abstract: The diet of Aphyosemion gardneri was studied in Mfangmfang pond in Uyo, Nigeria from January to December. The major food components - in decreasing order of dominance - were terrestrial invertebrates, macrophytes, aquatic invertebrates, microcrustaceans, sand grains and algae...I think this one was made in 2006. You can download the PDF from that page, too. |

Comsol: FYI, conference paper is also a publication. At the moment, I'm working on a paper to be presented in a conference come next year which will also be published on a top professional organization journal. Also, in any publication, the first author is usually the main contributor or owner of that publication just like in this case.
On your second question, that is very possible. I remember my lecturer then who was running his PhD in a different school. Meanwhile if you check the number 7 reference on that publication you'll notice that he actually completed his MSc in 1984. Hmmm... A possible explanation. |

wirinet: He obtained his M.sc at the University of Port Harcourt in 1985 and he was a Lecturer at the Dept. Of Biology, Rivers State College of Education, Port Harcourt from 1983 – 1993. How did that work? he was lecturing at one university while studying to obtain an M.sc in another university. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't strange/confusing. But maybe he took some time off from work at the College of Education (if that's even possible) or studied Part-time. Just don't know. |

wirinet: It is encouraging that you took up the challenge to show us any of GEJ's thesis or publication, the problem is that the said paper is neither a thesis or a publication. It was appropriately labeled Conference or workshop item Yes, I know. But I still think it counts (to an extent) as one of his academic works. Seeing it was made at UniPort in 1985, I'm hoping someone else carries on from here in unraveling the rest, if you know what I mean. |

This thread was inspired by this post, from Dr. Hassan, requesting to see Goodluck Jonathan's thesis and publications. NgeneUkwenu: I Can Bet My Last kobo Jonathan Never Went To The University! All His Certificates Were Forged! However we shall look into it, when we assume power Next year! While I am no spokesman for the president or any of these political players for that matter, I remember I did once come across one of his academic publications... I found it at the AquaticCommons, and it was originally published on 29th November, 1985. The publication is titled: "Identification of West African Estuarine Shrimp and Crab Larvae"by Jonathan, G.E. and Powell, C.B. and Hart, A.I. (1985). Abstract: The paper deals with the decapod crustacean larvae likely to be found in fresh and brackish waters in tropical west Africa. It summarizes results from an ongoing program of describing larvae hatched directly from adults of known species, to provide the identification keys necessary for applied research on nursery grounds, plankton ecology and pollution effects. A preliminary key to stage - 1 larvae is given for approximately 40 species...
Item Type: Conference or Workshop Item.

I have asked this question before:
Can ANYONE list what Buhari did for the South-East in all his 6 cummulative years as both Head of State and PTF Chairman?
Really, I'd like to see them, 'progressives'! |
