I have tried sending mail to student@lago.diplo.de sometime last week, but no response till date...tied sending another mail today but google keeps sending a failed response(see the error attached)

im getting frustrated as my agent made me fund my blocked account and spend money going to abuja for an appointment last week, only to be sent back to lagos.

wat do i do now, PLS HELPP....

Seems this particular Email address has issues or undergoing maintenance because I got same error message when I mailed them......but the Embassy has 3 other Email address you can send messages to:

Are you sure you’ve made the necessary research about this German waka cos by your message you don’t sound serious about this movement.......you already plan on relocating while you’ve not even secured AL or AD......I wish you all the best......but you need all the focus in the world if you want this dream to come true....especially now you are in Category B......Cheers

Anyone who don’t know the difference between Cat A and B, still ask what’s BA and SL and can’t even book appointment on its own don’t deserve German students visa.

Most people here don’t intend to study or won’t even make it at the Uni, but just want to use this means to escape the hardships in Nigeria

Some Only have IQ of 20 but feel like they re Genius here and insult or curse people. Am Glad to see reasonable Nigerians students but ashamed of those who only sees it as a means to greener pastures.

With all the foolishness here I think am in support of what the Embassy is doing and letting only the best to study here.

I was even called a Slave on this platform few weeks ago by Leo2sexy or whatever he is called for telling him that I don’t want to join issues with him b4 he will report me to the Embassy like he threatened others........I think he has been banned by @justwise cos I can’t see his Usually vile posts here anymore......I laughed at that comment but I later weeped for the guy......the guy definitely has issues and I hope his redemption gets to him soonest......we can’t stop helping people here because of a certain vile minority.......the show must go on......Shalom �

Yea The Test is true.......although it’s not everyone that write the test.......I think the lady on dreadlock(one of the V.O’s) that loves giving Test.......the test is mostly from your field of study........was given Basic Computer Science Test(10questions) and I was given a basic maths test too(5questions).........10 mins for each one.......the dreadlocked lady loves Test....lol.....but it’s nothing to be worried about

You are not late........Summer Applications just passed ........you have to plan for Winter Application.........Second Class Lower can get you Masters(Not 100% ooo) with a Working Experience in a relevant field you just stated.........writing a Language Exam(IELTS or TOEFL) increases your options(Schools) if I am being honest.........Lastly Read from Page one of this thread and get yourself informed......will do you a world of Good......Goodluck

May be that is the problem, you used march as start date..... Only people that used dates like April got AD from my experience.

Category B right?? You and I know Category B is a little bit Dicey in terms of getting AD.......what I told you has been tested and worked twice for me.......

I think they use Deutsche Post......you have to check the nearest post office around your area........Uni-assist Documents dy yakpa for there......especially VPD

When did you book your appointment?? And what Start date did you use while booking??
I know most of us book ahead of getting AL but sometimes we are not smart about it.....we don’t space out the months b4 booking......it’s always good to give a gap of at least 4months(resumption date) while booking.....your chances of getting dates are high when you do so.......my idea though ��‍♂️��‍♂️��‍♂️

Try the School Registrar........it’s more authentic and will carry the schools official letter head and not department letter head.

You will renew the passport in Germany.........dont worry about that

I did my interview on the 25th of Sept. I went with confirmation of €8,829 and I got an e-mail the next day to top up. I made the top up and sent them the confirmation on the 5th of Oct.
I didn’t receive any email from them confirming the receipt of my email which I have sent like 3 different times.
I’m thinking of sending it though fax or going to the consulate to drop it off. This waiting time is kinda hard as I check and refresh my email almost every minute.
For those who had similar experience, do you think the email I have sent is enough of I should drop the hard copy at the consulate?
Did you receive any email back from the consulate acknowledging that they have gotten your email?

They hardly send Acknowledgement Email.......I believe the 3 times you sent the Email is enough........Although you can Courier the Top Up Confirmation to the Embassy to be on a safe side......All the best

please a friend of mine got admission to lmu .. on getting there. lmu said the his department didnt give him admission that it was the intl office dt gave im admissn nd that alone is not enough to enrol. so now ge is thinking of enrolling for a 1year language course so that he can use that one to extend his visa.. is it possible to go wiuth student visa and then try to extend the visa with a language course admission instead. will it be accepted

It was Clearly stated that it is a Conditional Admission Letter.......The school also needs to give the Person Admission letter b4 he/she can be Eligible to Enrol/Register........See the Conditions clearly stated in the letter........Applicants to this particular school should beware ooo.........Ludwig Universität München

thanks. I'm considering this option cause of the authenticity of it, at d other hand its cost demanding, the cost of sending same transcript to 4 or 5 schools. 21800 each. Hmm.

You dont need to send Original to Multiple schools Sir..........Just One Original is enough.....make lots of photocopies of it and go to any High Court or Notary Public to Certify them b4 you send to your intending schools in Germany or to Uni-assist as the Case may be.

please ..which has taken upto three installments yet not up to previous 8604 amount..its around 6000plus now in my ba ..as the money was been paid in 2400euros or less in each installment.as he said they have limits to be transfered ...the last payment to complete the 8604 has not dropped even tho the guy paid since Thursday and showed me the receipt..
fintiba gave a minimum required installment to three times which will already be exceed with this fourth payment to complete the old fee plus I intend to pay the remaining balance when it does drop..which will be the fifth .....now adunno if this will be a challenge for me....please guys I just need an advice on how to go about this...will fintiba give me issues for paying five times
how long does it take for money to reflect as its since Thursday that the last payment for the previous amount was made...

My brother had same issue when funding my block account.....he sent a mail to his Bank in Germany about Extending his Transfer limit and it was granted immediately so he made the Old BA amount transfer Once........Also Note you need to send Fintiba a Mail to Extend your BA from the Old amount to the new BA amount.....if you dont Mail them b4 you fund the new amount.....they will delay you.....so send them a Mail for BA Extension ASAP

My Transcript(Testimony) Date: 26/08/19
I booked Category A on June 8th and got a date on June 11th(I wrote 1st October as my resumption date because I booked with faith b4 I got my AL....My Actual resumption date is 30th September) and my Enrolment Deadline is 15th October(Dept: ICE Rhine-Waal)
I refused to cancel the Appointment when a lot of people were canceling theirs because of Eligiblity issues...Here we are ��
we were ushered in around 6:30 am or so and had our App Letters stamped by Security Men.....
The popular Oga Paulinus began to Call/select us in groups of Five(I Was Number 12 on the line but later moved up when Oga Pauli sent some people back and he needed Smart and Fast people), after Calling us out to stand beside some chairs....He called the arrangement pattern for documents. I shaked a little bit when it was my turn to sort and place my Documents on the chair because I was a lil faster than he expected me to be so he threatened to send me to the back of the line and I jejely respected myself and went with his tempo(I thought to myself.......Shebi you want sharp/fast people ���) PS: if you organize ur documents as people av always Listed here then you won't have a problem with him.After everything Oga Pauli sent me in for security check and interview thereafter I was Interviewed in the main building.....As I sat down waiting.....the security man now told me to go into one of the Rooms as the light was blinking....
Immediately I walked in......I saw a guy......I just smiled......there and then I knew this was the cool guy people were talking about and I have read a lot about.....
Our Interview session was more or Less a Chit Chat like We've known each other for long......He was Cool, Calm and Collected � �........he gave me the Impression that Visa Interview no be Fight/war.......Enjoyed every part of it

Me: I answered (I told him I have a BSc with 2.2 CGPA)
Vo: why not Masters?
Me: I told him I tried (but I thought to myself that Local Man could not secure his desired Masters Admission) ���

Me: Ayam Single and Still in the market biko.....told him not to stress me plissss�(PS: I didn't say out the last part ooo �)

Collected my visa fee and typed for a while then Counted it.
Gave me some documents to sign, I signed and gave him back, I did my biometrics as well...
Vo: Ok. For the interview proper, pick up the telephone.
Me: Ok
Vo: So why Germany? I answered
Vo: why not UK,US and Canada.....I answered

Me: Hochschule Rhinewaal (pronounced as Rhine-Vaal in German)
Vo: was like Niceeeee........seems you did deutsch cos you didn't pronounce it like other Prospective Naija students use to do
Me: I smiled and told him yes.......dt I did A1 and A2(didn't want to complicate things by telling him I did B1 too because of Village people ��) we now communicated a little in German b4 he switched to English again......he was just nodding his head and Smiling while I was responding in German.......Gave me a thumbs up also said dt he's impressed that Although my language of Study is in English but I still made effort to learn German.
Vo: he now asked for my Certificate and the name of the language school and where it's located.
Me: I mentioned the school and location and I told him I didn't write the Exam
Vo: So why this course?......I answered
Vo: what do you intend doing after studies?........I answered
Vo: why Germany and not Nigeria?......I answered
Vo: Tell me all you know about Germany: politics, economy and geography.
Vo: Tell me about your course....I answered
Vo: what was your BSc Thesis.......I answered
Vo: Do you have any question for me Regarding your application?
Me: I asked him when should I expect a response from him.
Vo: within 4weeks he said......before September runs out
Me: Local Man was happy and we said our Goodbyes and I happily left the room

Side note: Don't allow any hustler to hustle you......Embassy Touts yapa ooo........Their Charges are Mad......Even Security Men want Tips also......Find a way to smartly avoid them like I did(I told them I came with only Visa Fee and that I didn't know that you can come to the Embassy with Extra Cash����)
You won't have any Problem.....If you pay attention to detail.......Make sure you obey every instructions given to you. My Interview/Chit Chat lasted for about 20mins.

Calm down jare.......I believe so many people have adviced you to plan for your Interview and not to Cancel but you no go hear......you go do oversabi Kum lose the date you have and wait for next year again while others are going for Interview with Category A(with BSc 2.2 result).....Including Me......Stay Focused
