opomulero: Thank you @ KaptainAfrika, (1) Know that I am not desperate, and me applying for DV lottery as for me do not show desperation since DV lottery is free for all to apply for, and if the VO is judging me based on this, i think this is unfair as many people that have applied for DV lottery and have the same issue with me have gotten B1/B2 visa.
(2)I have to travel to turkey so that I can redeem the voucher (flight ticket) given to me from work that will expire in may (5 months expiration period: January to May 2016).... its a free ticket voucher and we taught of using it to travel to US if we were granted that what made us apply in February 2016 and after denial , we then used it in April so wont loose i wont loos the voucher.
So in December 2016, we decided to apply again and was denied
(3)The VO never ask "why are you desperate to go to US" ------He asked where do you want to visit in USA: chicago |VO said OK -------where do you want to visit there: Bleep, Bleep, Bleep |VO said OK -------do you have any relative in USA: No (and honestly NO) | VO said OK
he started typing, stopped typing and starring at his computer for like a minute. and just bring out blue paper and said sorry your visa cannot be granted now, reapply....
Chikena, thats why i said can I choose another state asides chicago that i chose before? cos there is another bonus (voucher in he making for me) thats why i wanted to reapply 1- Applying for DV lottery does not affect subsequent visa application in anyway 2- From my observation haven been on this thread since the first season, there is something about you 2012 DV lottery glitch people that I cant seem to understand, you are not the first to complain about this issue, there is something about that glitch that is affecting applicants that were affected then. I have read about this issue here before. |

XX01: I have a contrary view. Don't reject ITA. They listed it there that if circumstances should change, recalculate and ensure you would still meet the draw cut off. If you would, then delete the trade certificate and move on with the process. The question is did an evaluation body assess the trade certificate successfully and issued him an ECA of 2 or more certificates that lead to this ITA? If yes then I dont think he has any issue. Secondly the difference I have seen between Degree alone and Degree with additional certificate is just one point, am I missing something? |

I really pity you and I really advice you to go and kneel down and ask God to forgive you. You are showing yourself to be really heartless, and a true example of what is wrong with Nigeria. Yes, you are right you are under no obligation to help me, so as you have sown so you shall reap. Hi Oluwapelumi, as your name suggest, God is with you. Pic 1. Is the family details and if u av any immediate relative abroad. I clicked yes
Pic 2. Those are the options in the field for clicking yes for relatives.
Except some people form different .....Cos i dey find where how did ur sibling enter Yankee for there.
Or have ur sibling be deported for violating Visa rules before. Or person wey dem don deport en sister or brother b4 go click say dem dey yankee ni? I tot they will click No and move on.
Or as u fill form finish...one computer go dey find millions of processed applications to find which one be ur sibling.
Ok oooo.
Una bye bye! @ bold if you have someone that went through visit visa of student visa, and later changed status please put the details and see whats up, unfortunately they will never tell you why you are being denied |

Guys lets lay this issue to rest once and for all, once you fill the details of that sibling in the form, they can investigate how the individual became a citizen/ PR if its through visit and then changing status, it will affect the new applicant because they know your sibling can also file for you when you get there even if that's not your intention. Most Visa decision are already finalized before you show up for interview |

Charmingdivah: 25% can be accessed when you are out of job for not less than four months...you visit the PFA with required documents to claim this and it's not processed immediately. I am aware of this, it is the part where he talked about 100% for immigration purposes I need clarification on |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by keni: 10:22am On May 31, 2017 |
Charmingdivah: Please don't be deceived...you can't have access to 100% of funds in your RSA...25% is what the Pensions Act states and this can only be applied for four months after you are out of work.
The question we should as ourselves is: would the 25% be accessed before we submit our application post ITA and would it be sufficient to meet CIC's requirement for the program under which we are applying? The answer most likely is NO! as Most people here are still employed an as such this would proof a difficulty.
Be it known that You can only access 100% upon retirement and that too has conditions to be met and hence does not satisfy the requirement of funds being free from encumbers...(if not we would have being allowed to borrow).
Also the PFA is not the VO who holds a final decision on what constitute proof of funds This is the understanding I have too but since he said something about those that are out of Job but still in Nigeria, I think he should explain further |

I was informed that the total balance in my account would be considered. That though 25% is considered for those that are out of work and still in Nigeria. 100% is considered for those applying for Canada PR. Bros please shed more light on this issue please |

salford: This thread is something sha... the op sef is nowhere to be found..lol
i believe in people going after whatever makes them happy or whatever rocks their boat. Some are making it in Nigeria, and some are making it overseas. Some are finding it tough in both countries too. Some are enjoying both world. e.g i met a Nigerian this week. He would have returned to lagos by now. He works in the oil industry in Nigeria but bought a house in an high brow area in Calgary where his wife and kids live......I doubt if this oga would leave his job in naija if he doesnt get something close to his level in Canada. Might be a career suicide for him if he tries to without something solid in Canada. But then again..how many people can top companies in Nigeria employ?
In my opinion, If you are middle class in Nigeria, you really have nothing to lose when you migrate...but if you are upper middle class above in Nigeria, can afford security, good health care or can afford to travel for health care like bubu , overseas holidays e.t.c...one would need to think it well.
Would someone earning 400k per month in nigeria be considered upper middle class or middle class? This would also depend on family size too. This is why am going on and on with @youngestland |

Pidgin2: So you own property in a "hell hole"? You still had the guts to say (unfortunately) you still have family here lol, it's you who has lost your place that is unfortunate not them, you who will be buried in a foreign land is the unfortunate one and not them.
For someone very comfortable in Canada as you have tried to make gullible people feel, you seem quite jobless to me. Keep waiting for me to answer your silly questions and while in the process of waiting patiently continue mentioning my post from now until you desire to receive sense
The western technology that you are taking pride in and going on about has made more people solitary individuals(yourself inclusive) than ever before, more people are obese especially in your society and dying of various associated mental, psychological and physical diseases because they won't quit using it even for a few hours and go out doors to bask in nature (fresh air and sunlight)
Many criminals get ready made ideas to carry out terrible crimes just by a single click, so yeah I'll take nature if I had just two options.
Whether you believe it or not with N400K monthly salary in Nigeria, the OP is fortunate. He can become a house owner in a very short time.
I expect another jobless Canadian or desperado Nigerian to quote me with their frozen senses. Dont bother about who will answer you because we will continue to point your defective analysis to you @ the first bold you cant even control what is released into the atmosphere here ( please google the issue of black sooth making rounds in port harcout of recent) @ the second bold unless you can summarise how that can be done then you are lying |

youngestland: Firstly I like your reply this is maturity unlike those that will comw and abuse my life
The guy in nigeria and the gate man may earn the same salary when you change the dollar to naira but the gateman doesnt stay in nigeria his expenses will be way higher than the professional the nigeria guy will be able to save 2.4million a year in nigeria with that money he can live for 1 year but convert that money to dollar it bcomes 6k that money will not be enough for him for two months...... the gateman will not be able to even save a dime
I think many people dont know this before they leave for the states they are carried away with the conversion till they get there
Sir 400k every month in nigeria is not small money sir thats someone salary in a year in nigeria and the person still gets by, but 400k in yankee is 1000 dollars is very small money
unless you work in usa and lives in nigeria then I can say you are on point which is not possibe I agree opportunity is low in nigeria standard of living is low is low too there are no infrastructure sef but I believe if you have the means to create a good life for yourself I believe its better you stay back
thank you @bold Where did you put name before that you were answering Micheal Jackson? Isn't that the crux of everything we have been saying? Ordinary London here my Niece just came back from her Masters and she said she was surprised the number of celebrities that comes around to do menial Jobs, make quick money and come back to Naija to flex. No matter what you say as regards that medicals and salary, I am not going to mention where I work. So You had it good, I assume all your friends too had it good and they have all built there houses in Magodo and have solar power, then you suddenly forgot that this Nigeria of almost 180 million people majority who do not have it good and you think they wont want to migrate. Even in my social studies in primary school, one of the reasons for migration is for better STANDARD OF LEAVING. As regards that Gateman scenerio you painted up there, please make more inquiries and you would know the extent people would go |

Romance › Re: After Dating For 7 Years, He Called Off Our Engagement. by keni: 9:11am On May 10, 2017 |
SammyAx: I met him in 2010, and I had to leave for graduate school in 2012. We continued dating and he visited me in the U.S as often as he could. After one of such visits, i discovered he had used my laptop to watch pornography. We had a fight, broke up, then made up again.
I am currently studying for my Doctorate and my greencard application (thru sister) is pending, therefore, i cannot travel out of the country now. So last year we decided to do our wedding in the U.S, and he and his family went to my family in Nigeria to pay my bride price.
My dad gave them a small price because he said we don't need their money and he is not selling me. But the problem was that the boxes of items they were to bring for me ended up being all cheap stuff, not even one single set of gold jewelry. My mum was unhappy and embarrassed, and i was terribly unhappy too. His excuse was that they didn't think the stuff would actually get to me since i am far away. My mum actually sent some of the stuff to me to see for myself. So we got into a huge fight and didn't speak for weeks. I later reached out to try and sort out our differences but he now says that he doesn't want to get married anymore.
I am distraught and embarrassed to even tell my family now because i had to fight for him and stand on my decision despite their hesitations. Is this relationship worth fighting for at all anymore? Do I deserve this after all this time? Aye le ooo Ibosi oooo!!!! |
