It is only in Africa you see citizens praise politicians for doing what they ought to do as representatives of the people. Every little thing politicians are praised unnecessarily. Even when they do nothing, praises are heaped on them.

Why wld a European/American praise his/her politician for fixing or constructing roads; they won't because that is the least expected of them in the various offices they occupy
