Juliet and John started dating in 2017, we expect the wedding bells to ring before the end of 2018 but alas, the relationship have broken down and each have gone their different ways. John, a Civil Engineer works in an engineering firm that pays moderately, he also runs a bus service on his way to work in the mornings, back in the evenings and weekends. Nike is my niece, she's very close to me. She is 27 year old. A very pretty lady, she works as an admin officer in one of the federal universities in the soutnwest. Her former fiancee relocated to Canada in 2016 and wrote to apologize to her that he cannot continue with the relationship since he wanted to go back to the university to be trained as a medical doctor. She didn't date any other person until recently. She met a Civil Engineer with FERMA during a conference in Abuja in March, 2018 and they started chatting. The guy had married once but his wife died in a car crash in 2014, they had no issue. She found the guy so interesting but she is not comfortable with the age difference between them. I didn't see any issue with their age difference if she can cope with the guy and they'll understand each other. Friends in the house, is anything wrong with an 18 year age difference between a husband and wife?

My friend, a self employed Mechanical Engineer is a widower, his wife died in an accident in 2013. He had only one child with the late wife. God has really blessed his hustling and his business is doing pretty well. Some of his friends including myself have been encouraging him to get married again since 2015 but he didn't take it serious until he visited my office and saw one of my students whom he said he love and would like to marry in April 2017. The girl is 29 while my friend is 37. Now the problem is that this young beautiful lady have vehemently disagreed with him on the issue of marriage. I have advised him to forget this lady and look prayerfully elsewhere but he keep saying he'll continue to try. I saw my friend on monday 4th December and as we were talking, he told me that this lady continue to reject his marital proposal but asks him for money regularly. He told me he has given her money on 4 occasions between July and October, (40k, 20k, 25k and 20k). He even show me bank alerts for the transfers he made on the 4 occasions. I was so surprised that a young "reasonable" lady will be collecting money from a man she will not want to marry, what kind of nonsense is that? My friend told me that this lady will still reject his proposal after asking and collecting money from him, but he stopped giving her money since November and this lady have continued to ask him for money. He showed me the text message she sent to passionately beg for money just last Sunday December 3, 2017. I told him to text her and remind her about his proposal which he did, this lady replied within 7 minutes like this "marriage between you and I is not possible because I'm already engaged but I beg you in the name of God to please help me with whatever you can afford out of the 50k I asked from you since over one month ago, I seriously need it to complete my clearance, collect my notification of result and processes NYSC pre-registration so that I can be mobilised with the 1st batch in 2018, I don't have any other person to look up to except you, God will show you mercy".
I went to the admin section of my institution to get information about her through the Assistant Registrar (Exams and Records) who is my very good friend, he told me this evening that this lady paid for and collected her result since October and that she has completed her NYSC pre-registration since November. Please what kind of devilish lady is this one? Rejecting someone's proposal but lying to collect money from him. I haven't come across this in my life and I cannot call her because she has already graduated and no more in school, and also, I wouldn't want insult so I can't get involved. What do you think dear nairalanders?

oga stop quoting Ondo in your analysis. Ondo state is viable and can do away with all those crops in the north. Ondo land is fertile, big and can produce all those food you mentioned.

I stand by my point brother, I am from Ondo State, I live and work in Ondo State, I am an Agric Lecturer and part-time farmer too. In terms of food production, Ondo State lags behind every other state in the south west maybe except Lagos. Tell me any of the food items I mentioned that is produced in sufficient quantity in Ondo State? In terms of farming, OndoState youth are the laziest in the southwest. Don't tell me what I know too well. I'm presently rounding off my PhD programme on participation of youth in Agriculture in Ondo, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti and Ogun. Walk through Markets in parts of Ondo State and identify the foodstuffs that isn't from the north, it's only rice which is imported, garri which is produced sufficiently in the state and palm oil that is fairly produced there and also imported from Edo, Delta and parts of the southeast that you can identify as not coming from the north. Do you know that Ondo State is no longer the highest producer of cocoa in Nigeria? It's now Cross River State. OndoState also lags behind in livestock production, tell me any of the big poultry farms that's located in the state? Ogun State is the largest poultry producing state in Nigeria, Oyo, Osun and Lagos aren't doing badly but Ondo? No! FAO might have their facts , but naturally, I fear serious food shortage in states like Ondo than in Benue, Kebbi etc that's mentioned in this report, cheers.

If there's food crises in these states, other states will definitely die of hunger because more than half of the food eaten in Nigeria are produced in these states. This "FAO" report isn't it o. Kebbi and Benue alone produces more food than the entire south west. Apart from Oyo State, which other state produces sufficient food in the southwest? My state Ondo depends entirely on the north while our able body young men prefers Okada and political thuggery to farming. Apart from Rice, palm oil and garri, every other foodstuff in Ondo State comes from the north. Potato, yam, cowpea, tomato, pepper, okra, beef, onion, groundnut, water melon etc. I discovered recently that our oranges are now produced in Benue State.

Madam, I need your help. I am a man of 48years. I married a woman who leaves home as early as 8am to go to church, and she doesn't return home till 6pm, not minding that her family must feed. When she eventually gets home, I would have taken care of the kids, fed them too.
By 7pm, she's holding her Bible, rolling on the floor of her room, praying, and speaking in tongues. She does that till 7am, almost on daily basis. I'm sure you know that I will not go o close to her in such situations.
A particular day, I threw caution to the winds, and forced my way on her. All through the act, she spoke in tongues, clutching her Bible . She wasn't anywhere near where I was, as her mind was obviously far away. After that day, I stopped her from making my meals, and stopped going into her room. We still live together, but more like strangers.
Now, she has a church, founded by her. A church where she is the Alfa and Omega. She has stopped looking nice, dresses more like someone who is perpetually mourning. She does not wear earrings, and her hair is always unkempt According to her, she is married to Jesus, and does not need any other man in her life. As an ordinary mortal who does not want to compete with Jesus, I have lost every hope of getting her back, and I need another wife.
Can you please help me ask if there's anyone ready to marry me? I am a business man of means, and the lord has blessed me. I do not need any woman who is not ready for marriage, and will be divorcing my wife once I find a woman that I can marry.
The woman must be either a widow or a divorcee, not more than 45years. She must have had her own children, as I would rather not have more children. If at all I will, I won't have more than one. The woman should preferably be from Ogun or Oyo state, but definitely not from Akure and Ilesa. She should be a civil servant, who will be ready to come home after the close of work.
