ps: the update is 11.0.7..... still pie. Moving from 11.0.6

It's a good device. I use it. But they say it's not so good for heavy games. I only play dream league and it works fine.

One of the bad things I notice about the phone is that it can't handle multitasking really well. Sometimes, not always, apps restart themselves when you multitasking. Maybe it's something I notice cos I'm coming from a 3gig ram android one device which multitasks smoothly.

But the battery ehn.... if it's only cos of the battery sef, na good buy.

I think I understand why some tecno/infinix users enter xiaomi thread to bash us. It's cos some of our members too enter their thread to bash them saying things like their brand is thrash.

I understand say our eyes don open as xiaomi users. But make we sef try to speak in a way wey no go carry aggression.

Let's not forget say most of us too came from tecno/infinix.

Double tap to wake and face unlock is enough for me and the face unlock is very fast sef.

if you're good with soldering, this shouldn't be much of a problem.
look for a battery of similar dimensions and capacity (mah) and solder if necessary. But you'll have to know what you're doing tho.

Good day guys. Please is there any settings to improve RAM management in miui? My phone na 2gb ram and if I open a few apps, them go dey restart when I dey multitask. Any way to prevent unnecessary killing of apps? Abi 2gb ram phones are no more manageable?

The solution to that is an app called Native Clipboard. You can set it up in such a way that you just double tap on the text field and it would pop up the clipboard with it's contents, then you tap on whatever you want to paste to paste it. Works in any text field.

I use it on my redmi but it seems to work better with stock android. Miui get how e dey kill background apps and this affects the consistency of the app. But if you disable battery saver for the app, maybe it won't be killed.

Try it you would love it.
There are other ways of pasting copied text using the app. You'll need to play around with the app settings to see the one that suits you.

It depends on how badly you need the item and how much time you're willing to wait. I wouldn't say you shouldn't order but you should know there is a chance that the item wouldn't arrive cos of the lockdown everywhere.

Although I ordered items before the lockdown tho and all of don land for Nigeria but since Post Office no dey work, the items never reach my local post.

Sorry for your experience but a

phone can't condemn memory cards

. Remove the card and connect to a PC > Properties >TOOLS > run the ERROR CHECKING feature to fix any error.

Kindly note that because your card works "normal" on a device doesn't make it a genuine card. Run your card on h2testw.

Don't forget to format your memory card with your R8 before use and always eject your external storage (mSD inclusive) from your host (phones inclusive) using the SAFE EJECT feature before ejecting your SIM tray. Very important!

Phones can condemn memory cards. I've had experience where a customer's phone spoilt 2 of my memory cards. I could revive one after formatting but the second isn't detected in any device at all
