Hello guys,

I need your inputs on my case,

So my wife and I have known each other since 2017.

She applied for and got her student visa september 2021 as a single person,

Came back to Nigeria in October 2021 and we did our court marriage.

Then she travelled back to the Uk.

I applied as her dependent, and submitted the following;

her cat details, and travel itinerary for the wedding, plus wedding photos and marriage certificate,

then I got an NSF on Jan 13 mail asking me to send more evident to proof that we are in a subsisting relationship,

so below are the things that I have submitted;

1 - I submitted a letter that we both signed, the letter details our relationship history - I wrote the letter, signed it, scanned it to her and she signed it and scanned it back to me.

2 - I added some of our dating photos from 2017 to 2021, for the ones that didnt have snapchat dates watermark I labelled it with the dates

3 - I also submitted a reference letter from the bank showing that we opened a joint account in 2019

4 - I added some post-wedding photos ; the one we took when she was doing her pre departure test and also ones we took when I saw her off at the airport and also some screenshots I took while we were doing videos calls

5 - I also attached screenshots snippets of our chats from Dec to Jan 2022 about 35 screens

6 - re-attached our marriage certificate again ( as I have already attached during my application)

7 - re-attached our wedding photos as I have already attached within our applications


Please what are our chances because I am deeply concern that the might look into the fact that she filled herself as single when she was applying for her student visa.

Please your responses will help uplift my mood because right now, the wait is not funny oh.

She was busy checking all my files and I was just praying to God at this point

And she checked and checked cause I spent more than 30mins with her.....trust me it was like 2hours I got exhausted at some points
She asked questions that I can’t even remember but these are just few of the ones I could remember....so guys be prepared for anything let your yes be yes and let your no be no,don’t contradict yourself when answering them o.....

Me:but me in my mind after killing me with questions I sha told her thank you and left.

Am actually surprised to hear that DMU issued CAS in 24 hrs. That's very strange cos I know of 4 pple that their CAS took almost one month to get issued.
U pay 4k for CAS and 50% before resumption. They discount 500 GBP . Fees is 14600. So if u pay 4k, you have to pay half an addition of 3,300 GBP

Lots of ppl including my wife got CAs in 24hrs and some got less than a week and some over a month. All ceases are different

Cos it shouldn’t be.
Fully vaccinated travelers leaving Nigeria are not supposed to do pre departure test and on the flip side, UK doesn’t require Pre arrival test from both fully vaccinated and non vaccinated.

if it is a direct flight to the uk but if you are transiting through other countries you will need the covid test

Bro, my friend got this mail from DMU after paying 4k two weeks ago . He’s really confused on what to do. They haven’t even issued him CAS

DMU stated it on their website and in communications that if you don’t pay your deposit before January you must pay deposit and 50% before you can be issued CAS. That’s the situation he has found himself

Please I'm a dependant. My wife has done her medical since December 14th. I couldn't do it then because my passport wasn't ready. Now that it is, I booked medical few days ago and I was given 31st January which is too long as there won't be ample time to apply for visa, do Biometric etc.
I have emailed them twice for rescheduling but I keep getting Automated responses acknowledging the receipt of my email and asking me to reply with proof that it's urgent. I did as instructed and got automated response again. I can't keep doing this because time is not on our side.
Here's my query fam,

*Is there walk-in for medicals like it's being done for biometrics because I'm planning to walk in tomorrow?*

*If there is, does it attract additional cost?*

It doesn’t attract additional cost. Just go there with the evidence that you need the medical urgently. They will either give you a new appointment or do it for you on the spot

No. Login to your application again and try to change your date, you might get a closer date

If you have not take the two shots of covid 19 vaccinations you will have to do a pre-departure test, PCR test on or before day 2 and on or after day 8 and self-isolate for 10 days. If you 2nd and 8day test is negative then you can call short your isolation.

We 31st Jan course start dates. @justwise is it possible to get visa and not be allowed entry because of missed course start date? What would you advise a person in this situation to do ?
