I can recommend EgyptAir to anybody. I was expecting a low graded value because of their price but I can say for free that they offer a high level of professional services.

I asked few months back if i will be able to upload pdf documents to support my dependent visa application even if i choose assisted service and was replied with yes.
Due the volume of the pdf (97 pages), i wanted to opt for self service but I've been up all night to see if i could get a closer date with self service but the closest i saw was march 2nd so i had to opt for assisted service. After paying for the assisted service, i don't see anywhere i can upload the pdf files.

I will appreciate any suggestion on what to do.
The pdf file already contained whatsapp chat, screenshots of whatsapp call logs, pictures of us over the years, our wedding pictures. We don't have hard copies for somes of the pictures cos they were taken with phone over 6years ago.
Should i just print the pdf file and take it to TLS on the day of biometrics or is it possible to transfer the pdf file to them on the day of biometrics.

Print all documents in A4 paper and take them to the TLS. They will be uploaded for you.

We gave him our passports and documents, he returned the documents without looking at them and held the passports.
Immigration officer - what happened to your passport ? Is it washing machine?
My wife - no it fell into a bowl of water.

My wife - she answered
While he was talking he was just laughing and he already scanned her passport.

Immigration officer- Do you know how your wife will get the BRPs?

Immigration officer- put your thumb here. Then he stamps my passport and said welcome and enjoy your stay.

No documents was checked. Not even the BRP letter or vaccine card. He didn’t even ask about the locator form or day 2 test. The officer was just all smiles and jokes.

I pray we all experience this kind of easy on our journey.

Work experience and a good personal statement are what guarantees admission.

Even if you made a 2:1 and without work experience for say, 5 years and/or more, you may not get admitted into a masters program in the UK

Like I always say. All applications are different . It is not cast a stone. My wife has no work experience, has over 5 years study gap, she got admission, we didn’t submit any reference for visa, we got our visas too.

If I go ahead and book for priority, will it affect the visa decision of my husband? I mean will his visa be out by 5 days as well? Or it has to be 15 working days as standard visa application?

If your husband hasn’t done his biometrics, he should be able to upgrade to priority. But we have cases where the main applicant did priority and dependants did standard and their passports came back together.

You are like 9months already in the Uk. You should by now used up your POF. But you might need to show proof by attaching receipts and maybe your Uk bank statement to support your dependant application if you are asked to provide your own POF.

I actually just noticed this part. Apply for your AR fast but make sure you can present the funds for your wife’s application when asked to. It will not be the complete funds as she has been in the uk but a reasonable amount should be in her account that can be shown as evidence that it is not a duplicated fund

Do they expect my wife to have are fund in her account from September to January? Won't she pay school fee and accomodation?

Besides, they are still quoting the full amount she needs as If she is still in Nigeria.

In the application, it was pointed out that she is in the UK with her BRP card as proof.

Some people that have applied and gotten their visas used the spouse's account who is still in Nigeria for POF.

I have read all your responses to ppls concerned response. Well the issue here is that they feel that you guys are duplicating funds as there is no funds available in your wife’s account. For your AR you will need to show funds in any account with your wife’s name between the period she has been in the uk, this will make the process easy.

I just received a refusal mail this hot Sunday afternoon from Sheffield, UK.

I used my Bank statement to apply for dependant Visas for myself and two children under 16 years. My wife is already 4 months into her studies.

Account statement was 28 days (2nd of October to 30th). fund was more than the required amount in my account for me and two children.

NSF mail 11th and 14th of January

Asked for my wife's account (I don't know why but I thought it was to check for fund duplication and it was clear there wasn't) 14th of Jan.

Paid mail sent on the 20th (Reply said decision made)

Decision letter today 23th of January.

I have asked people who got there dependant visas approved, I believe I followed the rules.
The ECO quoted an amount that included the the maintenance fee + tuition for my wife and only on dependant (as if she is still in Nigeria and only traveling with one dependant) whereas on the uk.gov website it says " If your partner or child is applying at a different time to you (they’re applying separately) they only need to prove they have money to support themselves".

Sorry to hear about this. But from the letter it shows that your wife’s balance is below N1k. This is obviously the reason why you were denied. It would be concluded that you guys are using the same funds. You can apply for the AR if you can show that your wife still has the fund she show during her own application. Maybe in her pounds account or otherwise.

Replied- 13th January- She replied with the TB cert, letter of explanation, and Netherland resident permit
Paid Mail - 18th January, I got a reply 3 hours later that decision has been made.
Collection Mail - 20th January, She picked up her visa today.
Two Visa refusals (Canada and Germany) were declared.
Document submitted- BSc Cert and transcript, WAEC, CV, Change of name Cert, Two work references (9 years study gap), NYSC, POF

Dependent:
Visa application- 22nd December.
Biometrics - 30th December, Dusseldorf TLS, Germany.
No NSF Mail
Collection Mail -18th January, I picked up my visa the next day.
4 Visa refusals (3 Canada and 1 Germany) I forgot to declare the German refusal but I have a german resident card.
Document submitted- Marriage cert, wedding, and pictures of us together, screenshots of past and most recent conversations

My wife didn't submit any TB test certificate because she has been living in the Netherlands since January 2021 and her resident permit is tsil valid until 2024. She Just came to Nigeria in December and then applied for a UK visa in Abuja TLS.

The POF was all in her account (Main Applicant).

In all, we give glory to God for making this ou plan possible.

I got a lot of information from here. Nairaland is very informative but you need to filter out the relevant info (Screenshot or copy and paste somewhere because you might need it).

Hi this is kind of straight forward.

1. You will not be issued a BRP because your husband has less than 6months left on his visa.


2. You will be issued a BRP once he applies for his PSW visa and he gets his 2years which you will also get and then your BRP will be issued.

3. What this means it that you might not be able to work or Access some basic stuffs unless it’s stated on your vignette on your passport.

4. You can write back to request clarity on what the implications are.

Sunderland don't even have a payment plan. After your initial deposit of 3500k you must pay the rest on or before enrolment.
I really do hope he has the money on ground because it cant be funny trying to bargain with already laid down rules.

Wow… then she is right. They will not release the BRP until she fulfills all necessary. Then her adviser is trying to help her beat the school system which might be a bad idea. Let’s hope she has her balance tuition.

You get Senior Adviser ooo. Once you get to the Uk and your BRP is ready your school will notify you and you schedule for pick up. Simple. Which one is they won’t release it to you until you pay full tuition? Don’t you have a payment plan agreed with the school? If you Bleep up the school will only report you to UKVI and those ones will deal with you.
