I have been off for a while, because I was chewing kola nut and sipping burukutu. I am back though and here to give my own side of the gbege.

First; the flash season 3 finale was predictable from the point Savitar revealed himself to Caitlyn. As in Barry being Savitar and all, especially with the blue light on his suit and the flash symbol on his suit’s chest. Anyways here is why Iris was able to shoot Savitar without his suit, Savitar without his suit is on the same speed level with Barry. The suit enhances his speed, strength, agility and resistance. Remember when Savitar unmasked himself before Barry and as they were having a tussle, Savitar said “I forgot to tell you, my suit’s cooler than yours”. In his suit Savitar runs at a speed beyond Mach 3 of which Barry runs at Mach 2 and a passenger plane flies at Mach 1 (season 1). And if you watch closely the time paradox was around and Savitar while getting prepped to be all over time was telling Caitlyn to hurry, so as he was running to maybe have a last hit at Barry, the speed force was leaving him and he was gradually becoming human. Plus he never knew Iris was behind him to shoot and kill him. In the episode for 2024 once and future flash, the future flash said Iris died in 2017, but he fought Savitar and imprisoned him in the year 2021. So present Barry, changed time by going to the future and trying to beat Savitar before he tries to kill Iris, Savitar I mean. After our present day Barry challenged Savitar, the time loop has stabilized. So no more Savitar.

Second; Wally’s speed. Now Trajectory didn’t get her speed from the speed force but a drug called Velocity 9. Whereas Wally did. In flashpoint, he was the flash. Savitar through Alchemy, granted Wally his speed so that his plan will suffice. The dark matter that hit Central City, affects different people differently. The dark matter that Dr Wells created in season 2 while trying to get Barry his powers back hit Wally and Jesse, both victims reacted differently. Remember Jesse is from a different earth and her frequency is different from earth1 occupant’s frequency. So her powers manifested quickly than Wally’s. Also, the philosopher’s stone is a solid fragment from the speed force. To prove this point, ask yourselves why didn’t the philosopher’s stone give everyone speed powers? It gave different people different powers, people that had powers in flashpoint. Now everyone will say Barry returned and allowed Reverse Flash to kill his mum, Yes he did. But remember Joe and Iris were always quarrelling after Barry’s time reset, that is to say the timeline he came back to is Flashpoint 2.0. he said so himself after Jay Garrick stopped him from time travelling (when he took him back to the 80s in season 2 for a little chitchat.) Barry couldn’t restore the timeline because alterations in the past during time travel, must create aberrations Legends of Tomorrow taught us that. Julian was an aberration which is as a result of flashpoint. Let’s say you are standing near a stream and you see a frog on one side of the stream, then you pick up a stone and aim at the frog. There will be what we call ripples across the water body as a result of the stone you threw at just a point of the stream. That’s what flashpoint is like. So the current timeline they are in currently is flashpoint 2.0. As far as Wally got hit by dark matter, had speed powers in flashpoint and came in contact with the philosopher’s stone, the speed force gave him powers and is protected by the speed force.
Thirdly, as regards Savitar’s memory and all that: when Barry’s mind was tinkered with, the lobe section of his mind that controls his speed was affected and it affected Savitar who was his future time remnant. According to speed force science, the psyche and biology of speedsters are protected by the speed force that is why they hardly die. They might die in one timeline but the speed force wills protect them from being erased from existence. Remember Savitar said, that’s the thing with time travel, the more you do it, the less the rules apply to you. As to why Wally lost his speed, once the psyche of a speedster is affected, the speedsters who got powers after the affected speedsters witness a temporary glitch until the old speedsters are up and running.
Lastly, as regards to the death of black flash, cold is one thing that halts the movement of speedsters. Speed guns used in season 1 and Legends season 2 shot ice spikes into speedsters to slow them down. So Caitlyn hit Black Flash at full power hence the freeze and death. Remember all the times Barry was hit with ice, it took him time to be able to generate heat via homeostasis (which is the ability of the kidney to regulate body temperature) to break out.

The same way Reverse Flash was erased out of existence in season 1 via the disintegration process, is the same way he was disintegrated in LOT season 2 finale, so he ain’t dead, he is still somewhere running round.
As for season 4 of the flash, Wally will be the Flash for a while, he may not have to stick to his Kid Flash costume, he might get another suit, maybe put on Barry’s but I doubt. He might still use his Kid Flash costume though then Central City will clamour that they need the Flash not his sidekick. Which might make the team make him a new costume since, he can’t tap into the speed force yet to make a costume.
Barry on returning from the speed force might be bad, evil making him a threat the team might have to deal with.>>>>> My theory, still open to criticisms.

I should have called the topic 'Airtel; the scamphone network'. But I don't want to actually slander anyone.

For five months now; since January, Airtel in my area has been crappy for data and call purposes, mostly data. I currently reside in Aba Metropolis and before now, Airtel was the people’s choice for data bundles.

All we get here is 2G network or sometimes nothing despite the ‘claim’ of being a smartphone network. All day long we hardly never get the 3G or H+ signal, except from 12 midnight or some minutes past 11pm.. Even as I type this, I am currently battling with the network. Everyone knows Glo network a.k.a baba go slow, as a network that possesses this character but I’d say Airtel has joined the bandwagon.

I have called customer care reps for the umpteenth time and alerted them on twitter to complain and all they say is ‘we are looking into it’. Even if their servers are congested, five months is a time too enough for their engineers to get to work. All they are interested in is, to collect your money without quality assurance. On two occasions, my subscriptions have expired without my exhausting them which for me is inhumane. Their customer care agents aren’t helping either, all they do is end the calls from their end before you end your complaint. I have no problems with them as they are simply paid to voice out what has been handed to them in a template.

A lot of people in my area are quitting the use of their Airtel sims because of this issue, resulting to the use of another exploitative network MTN that milks you dry of your data even before switching on your data connection and I am doing same. We unfortunately live in a country where quality and assurance policies are taken with a pinch of salt and complaining about that is a spent bullet. Many of us clapped our hands when NCC dropped their toll free number 622, which for me has done nothing but retained an undeserving status quo.

Maybe in other locales, Airtel is the best. But Aba like Onitsha, is one of the commercial nerves of the Southern Nigeria and it is witnessing a less than steady network performance. This needs to be handled or else they’ll watch many people here disconnect from their network. Etisalat is a living witness of what poor customer base looks like.

To the mods this post needs to go viral, so that their staff on Nairaland, can see this and try to get things fixed.

I will be very brief and I am sure we all can learn one or two things from this. I hope also that I construct this well.

I do travel out of my location here in Lagos very well to other part of the country and it's normal that I get an hotel to lodge.
On arrival to an affordable hotel, I pay for the hotel room and check in. Take my bath and relax a bit then I check the hotel menu list for breakfast, lunch or dinner as the case may be.

I do observe something for the past two years but didn't really take it serious not until when I travelled to Aba and Port Harcourt around March this year and same thing repeats itself.

After checking the menu list and the price of the food u want to eat. You call the restaurant and place your order but as soon as your order was delivered, the price is always more than what is on the menu list. Sometimes it could be has high as a thousand Naira.

I do pay all the time and didn't read any meaning to it but when I was at Aba around March, I protested when the same thing repeats itself and I said to myself that if such repeat itself anytime I travel and lodge in any hotel, I will only pay the charge as indicated on the menu list.
Fast forward to today, I travelled to Abuja and as usual lodged at an hotel in town.
Now this evening I ordered for my dinner at a fixed price on the menu list only for the price of my order to be far above what was written in the menu list. I told the lady that brought my dinner that I will only pay the cost of the dish in the menu list but she insisted that I will pay at #500 more than I was expected to pay giving me excuses that the price on the menu list was the old price.

I request to see the manager and within a second, she disappeared but I still went ahead to see the hotel manager but on my way, I met one of the hotel attendants who was listening to my argument with the lady and he told me that I shouldn't go to the manager cos there is nothing the manager can do and that they are working on the new price list but I ignored him. When I got to the hotel manager, i told him what happened and why customers cannot pay the exact cost of dish in the menu list but have to pay far more. He was suprised cos I saw the shock on his face. He sent for d lady that do serve dish for customer but not to expose her in my presence, he told me to go and I should pay the exact price on the menu list when she comes around to collect money.

When the lady later came around to collect the money, I saw the anger on her face which confirms my suspicion that those people generate income for themselves through such disgraceful means and it as become a common trend in some hotels (I don't want to generalize).

Don't know who else have noticed such but next time you lodge in an hotel and observe such, insist on paying the exact cost as seen on the menu price list.

I love honest people and sometimes give extra tips to them of some few cash even after rendering services to me but trying to play a fast one is a no no for me.

Let us be observant.

Sometime ago I traveled to Owerri for a meeting and had to lodge for 4days so I initially paid for 3 days and told the attendant that I'd renew my accommodation tomorrow because the raw cash I had on me was for something else.

As you know, different people observe different shifts. So I met another attendant who charged me an extra one thousand naira when I went to renew my accommodation on the excuse that the person who lodged me in the night was a new employee that didn't know everything as it should. Looking at her eyeball to eyeball and from the creak in her voice, I knew she was lying. I gave her the money and left.

Somehow I met the manager as he was leaving on the day I was checking out and laid my complaint. He acknowledged and left. I got to my destination and I got a call from the manager apologizing for the misconduct.

A month later I traveled again to Owerri for something else, went to the same hotel but the lady who overcharged me wasn't the one at the reception this time. But as I had paid, got into my room, had my bath and was about going out for a stroll, I met her coming out of a room with a guy and she was having a horrible smell of sex all over. She saw me and asked you are Kenneth right and I confirmed, I now saw the bitterness in her eyes despite her messed up and drunk state.


So since then, instead of going as per the price list, I ask for a discount.

Savitar is the future flash (as we already know).

Reason is this.

From season 1,Eobard gave Barry powers earlier than he Barry should have had them, so the normal flash (not the Barry we are watching, the original Barry that should have gotten his powers without Eobard's intervention), lost Iris to something precisely an accident plus, he had let too many persons become speedsters (even in the future Grodd gets speed powers). So this issue of everyone having powers has torn the speed force making it very unstable.
So the only way to fix it, was to go back in time, destroy his younger self, and prevent him from causing more rupture in the speed force. As well his killing of Iris, is to make Present Barry feel the pain he felt when he lost her in the future, so if the future flash can't have Iris, neither should the Present day Barry .




As for what now happens in 2024, the flash of that timeline never unmasked Savitar rather..he simply imprisoned him after he had killed Iris...which was the reference Savitar kept saying 'you left me for damnation in that hell'...

So now the timeline has changed and the 2024 version of Barry now knows who Savitar is beneath the mask...
